Sunday 25th

Got my washing done and buy did I need it, put some of Pauls clothes in and went to the library.  Tried to get stuff at the shops but failed and went to work in the evening.

Monday 26th

Fairly normal work day only I phoned the garage back as I couldn't get through Saturday and amade sure Tuesday was ok to leave the car there.

Tuesday 27th

Left car at garage at 8.30 and walked the rest to work, lots of traffic as Clipsal meant the roads were closed/ barriered.  Got phone call during the day saying the part was not arriving today, cursed leaving all the keys with the garage as I couldn't pick up the car, walked home and managed to eat and get to work at the cafe in time.

Wednesday 28th

Car part finally arrived lunch time but too late for me, so I picked it up after work, cost more than the other place quoted so I mentioned this and at least felt better about saying something and having a fixed car for now at least.

Thursday 1st March

Phoned Paul during the day about the clipsal concert in the evening and Sunday, he bought tickets for Sunday but in the end we didn't go to the concert, it was a hot day, I was staving as usual and I only had jeans with me, still at least I had a clean T-shirt on after yesterdays not having the key to my bag thing.  Bakc at hostel we went out for some drinks in the local pub Paul got drunk, I was back early for a full day tomorrow.

Friday 2nd March

Worked the day and evening, no roster up for next week yet at cafe.

Saturday 3rd March

Went to the library for internet, came back fro lunch then went into town to shop and again got nothing, then I tried to go into North Adelaide but it was too far to walk so I went round the river then went back.  Worked the evening and finished late.  Didn't get roster times as it was still not done

Sunday 4th March

Up at 7am, god why?  Sam was up around 7.30 and Paul was crashed out until I woke him up around 8.30.  We went to Clipsal and saw a crash early on then I got shaved by a lady before seeing a fashion show and thenwe hung out watching the race on the grass where Paul spent most of the time sleeping.  The concert started slowly before Jon Stevens of Noiseworks got it going and Rogue traders finished off altough they didn't have enough good songs so that really drifted.

Monday 5th March

Tried to pay outstanding rent but Chris was not around, went to work and found out I was working the evening as well, then went back and on to other work, but managed to clear arrears first.

Tuesdya 6th March

Work, then home to relax only I had to return DVD to library before it was overdue so got shopping done, then came back and found washing machine taken so I ate, stuck my washing in eventually, cooked, ate some more and watched the DVD cypher which was pretty good.  Phoned a guy about a room but its not available at the moment, Paul got drunk and threw up in the toilets.

Ok, I tried to forward date this so I can squeeze other blogs in, it didn't seem to work. Went for a run in the morning, well more like a slow jog with extra weight, decided to find a route which covers the appropriate distance so I can get some speed challenges in, Austrlalian Cities though always have a grid formation which sucks for running. Took my car to a garage avoiding the closed of road secion and pissing of drivers for going slowly, but the guy there said he'd get it done whcih was good, then went to the library which was shut so went to supermarket and then work for 11am - sucks.  After taking teh tables out I waited around for customers, eventually some turned up, then in no time at all I was rushed and then all of a sudden it was over again.  Had a girl comment on my eyes and I said something stupid back.  Had about one hour spare before work again, rested a bit, squeezed in part of my lunch then rushed off leaving pots and pans not washed and did the evening session which finished at 10.15, went home for dinner, hung around and went to bed.  The guy in my room who had been there a month or 2 left today, but someone else grabbed his bed, damn!

Friday 1st Feb

ok forward dating and squeezing in posts didn't work.

Woke up and was downstairs ready to jog when I got a call from the agency for work, got ready and drove there for 9.30, one hour later.  Worked until 4.45 counting chips, and later on sorting boxes.  Had time to eat and change before going to the cafe for and pinch and a punch.  Started late as it was quiet and I left early as I had already worked so wasn't too bothered.  May have actually got back in time for apple pie.

Thursday 31st Jan

Up at 6am and caught the 6.35 tram to Glenelg arriving at 7am, saw a canoe race and went along the pier to see people fishing before making my way to the other pier which was not so easy to get to although I made it on time.  Had to pay cash for the remainder as they charged $5 extra for credit cards.  Donned my wet suit whcih was hard as usual to put on and we hung around for a few minutes before they had us all in the water in military style to watch the dolphins swim past.  We then had a few unsuccessful attempts to se the dolphins before an English girl called Anna-Marie and I were at the back of the boat when there was a call to get in the water and only we made it as the boat carried on moving we saw a pair of Bottle nosed dolphins swim alongside us pretty close by while the other people were still on the boat.  We went further out and saw the common dolphins who were more fun to swim with. 
afterwards I declined the $20 Cd of the pictures and went into town on the tram with Anna Marie then back to the hostel for lunch.  Afterwards I went to take the camera back but they didn't accept it as it was film which can get damaged by the heat.  The cafe phoned me up so I went to work and we had a really busy chaotic evening with not enough staff, food taking up to an hour to come out and I went home understandibly tired.

Wednesday 30th Jan

Still feeling down from missed job, took phone into shower this morning, watched TV and went to library for internet which cheered me up a bit.  Phoned dolphin tour and booked for tomorrow morning, went round shops bought underwater camera and food including bread for Paul who's just lazy as.  Back at the hostel had dinner then met up with Jeremy and had drinks at the hostel until he had to leave to catch 9.30 bus since they take a while and don't run too often.

Tuesday 29th Jan

Up at 9.30 and was in the shower when an agency phoned so I missed call, phoned back but someone else had been sent there.  Went to the library for internet came back for lunch and felt down abot missed work, watched a film then went for a walk round shops, on internet at state library came back ate and watcheed another film.

Monday 28th Jan

Busy day had an interview at 2pm at an agency, went to the library early on then to the science institute at the where they let you look in as they work sorting out fossils etc.  Stopped off at the scientology place and asked a few questions then went back for lunch got dressed and did the interview where I did the tests again and did great at the typing only ok at the Excel and word tests.  Went back to the scientology place where I did the personality or whatever test which came back with very negative results for me, it was nice to talk about things though.  Left in time to get back for dinner, get changed and go to work, had 2 hours serving outside section in the heat.  Got back after 8.30 and the apple pie was all gone, watched a film.

Saturday 27th Jan

Chocolate factory tour, the tour guide spoke to us all like we were kids.  "why are you here?  for the chocolate of course"  "you like choclate don't you", I was hardly going to reply, no actually lady I don't its bad for you, rots your teeth and I'm just here because this is a free tour and I'm interested in things like how a factory runs.  Still I got some free chocolate which you may be surprise to hear I didn't share.  Mmmm chocolate.  Went to Hutt street library, found the chinese garden and got numbers for building sites.  Worked the evening, more people this time, still 2.5 hours work only and some customers walked out as someone didn't put through their order before I started.

Thursday 25th Jan

Agency I had an interview with called and cancelled it as the person was ill so we rescheduled for Monday.  Went for a run and then went on the internet and borrowed a DVD, its so easy to do at these libraries they have a great self service system.  Went to work, had a quiet section and mixed up a rib and steak combo - Doh!  Then later on a group of us went out but a lot of people didn't have Id's so we couldn't get into a place and got split up, some people got lucky, thankfully they weren't in my room.

Wednesdy 24th January

Went to railways station at Keswick to pick up Nicola and we drove to Glenelg, saw the beach and she booked her flight although I should have just packed in Adelaide and driven to Melbourne.  We swam and went for a walk before eating at a fish place (Jacks I think).  The car parking was not too bad - 2 hours for free.  Back in the city we went to the botanical gardens and museums but Nicola got sun burnt and sun stroke so we had to get back to the car via as much shade as possible.  I showed her my hostel but she really didn't want to stay there and booked a hotel, she was generally upset and not just because of the sunstroke I felt bad about it all.  Stayed and chatted a while before going back to the hostel but was way too late for the apple pie.
