Summer Darkness - THANKYOU!

What can I say? Summer Darkness show was amazing - huge thanks to everyone who came to see us, and to the Summer Darkness crew for looking after us so well (especially Anne Marie our stage manager!) and also to cyber-angels.nl for their help publicising the show. I was amazed to find we sold all of our CDs except one - in the time it took me to get cleaned up after the show and come outside(!)

Live @ Summer Darkness - SUNDAY 1:30PM @ Tivoli De Helling

We appear at this year's SUMMER DARKNESS festival in Utrecht, Nederlands on SUNDAY 10th AUGUST (this Sunday!) at Tivoli De Helling. (google map).

Note that there are two 'Tivoli' venues in Utrecht - 'Oudegracht' and 'De Helling' - don't get confused!

We will be on stage at 13:30 - (yes 1:30PM in the afternoon) - Lineup for Sunday:

Thankyou to everyone in Dublin who came to see us support Combichrist on Sunday - we had a great time on and off stage and the venue, sound system and engineers were superb.

Thanks also again to our friend Alan for helping with the merch stall!

Thankyou Glasgow

Thanks to everyone that came to see us at Barfly in Glasgow on Saturday, and special thanks to Brian from Glasgow's Bedlam club for being one of the best promoters we have dealt with so far - load in / sound check and show went like clockwork, and how many other promoters do you know that would escort you to the Apple store the day after to buy an iPhone?

Show went great and our friends System:FX did a great job with the support. A minor delay with our laptop at the end, but only because we decided to do an impromptu request there and then which was totally unplanned and the relevant patches and audio routing were not in place, but it was all good in the end - never let it be said that we don't try to accommodate our audience.

The only downside was I got food poisoning from something along the way - most likely the dodgy burger after the show, but feeling a lot better now. I'm amazed it could survive with the amount of alcohol that was in my system.

Next show is supporting Combichrist at The Academy in Dublin on 27th July and don't forget that our current DJ Promo EP is available for immediate download from www.skinjob.co.uk

A note about the Combichrist Sheffield gig
Current mood: busy

Due to Ashbury Heights accompanying Combichrist on their UK tour, we are no longer playing the Sheffield date at Corporation. Rest assured that there are no hard feelings about this, it's just the way it works sometimes and the Corporation promoters are at the mercy of tour managers just as much as we are.

I've removed the show from our MySpace list, but due to a MySpace bug the show is still listed in our upcoming shows on the front page (note if you click 'view all' it's not in the list). *edit - immediately after posting this blog it seems to be ok now, but I'll leave this here in case it comes back

We are still supporting Combichrist in Dublin and after that show there will be DJ sets by me and also Jeyênne from XPQ-21.

You can catch us in August at Infest - see you all there regardless...

Infest Merch + Live synth for Deviant UK supporting Panzer AG -TONIGHT

I received a package in the post this morning which was a preview of the new merch we will have for Infest... looks great and that's all I'm saying at this point :)

Tonight I will be playing live synth on stage for Deviant UK - we are supporting Andy LaPlegua's side project 'Panzer AG' at Corporation in Sheffield. I ran a vote on Livejournal for which synth I would play, and the Access Virus Ti won, so that's what I will take. I quite like this interactive choosing of instruments - saves me lots of stress I tell you. Might do more of this and involve you all in what you want to see.

Uberbyte open tonight's show so make sure you are there early - doors 7pm.

About tickets for SkinjoB / Modulate / Soman show - THIS FRIDAY

There seems to be quite a buzz about the show on Friday at Sheffield Corporation where we, along with our friends Modulate support the fantastic Soman.

It is strongly recommended that you buy your tickets in advance rather than risk being turned away! - Tickets from Ticketweb (£10 each).

There is no extra charge from Ticketweb if you choose to pick up on the door, and this also means there is no ticket to lose. The ticket also grants you free entry to the club night after the show.

When Grendel played Corporation more than 70 people were turned away due to capacity issues - buying your ticket in advance guarantees that you will get in.


We will be opening the night so make sure you get there early...
