that quiet moment, as the hurricane spins around you and the gods hammer against the sky and you are about to go over into the abyss. It's relaxing. Savor it.

As the winter of my discontent draws on...
Current mood: determined
Since I have god knows how long to wait before I get the green light for the Sideshow Nation project, I have finally taken some time to return to my prints. Looking at some of the early panels for the Stimulation Snake, I realize that I was burned out after months in my office. The work was lacking, uninspired and flawed. I've gone back and reworked the first five panels (adding an additional 2000 layers) and completed the sixth. that means that I have completed the first 20 ft. I only have 80 more to go.
I've posted the images and details in two separate galleries. I WANT FEED BACK. leave me some comments damn it. I want to know what you think.

This is the era of the Goat.
I'm a month behind in reading responding to emails and my presence on myspace has been almost nil recently. But it's for very good reasons. For the past several months I have been working on two very, very large projects. The results of this work will be known soon. If either of them take off, the Sniveling Goat will be a household name through out the whole country. Bellow is a PR photo of yours truly associated with one of the projects.

how big is your tattoo?
Current mood: giddy
Category: Art and Photography
It's time for me to drop accolades on my tattoo artist. I cut a deal with Trish Sanchez a hand full of my prints for possesion of my left arm, right arm and back. During this time, Trish has become a very important and dear friend. She finished my left arm in 06 and has been working on my back forever. We took off several months because of conflicting schedules (and because I'm traumatized every time the needle runs across my mid spine.) but we are slowly moving towards finishing it. Then on to the right. Her work is absolutely possitively fantastic. Not only is she a masterful tattoo artist but she thinks and works like a fine artist.
If you live in the PA/NJ area stop in her shop. Trish is the manager of Electric Rembrandt 930 Bustleton Pike Feasterville, PA 19053 (215)322-8797 WWW.ELECTRICREMBRANDT.NET
You can bother her her on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/onelastbulletĀ
Bellow is the only photo I have of my back. It's very old, several sessions back. since then the shading has been completed, the back ground for the upper shoulders and lower back is almost completed and the color has begun.
The girl symbolizes my inner muse. She is blind folded so that I will not be distracted. She is holding a fan of tarot cards because I believe I control my destiny. She is also holding a pistol out because nothing is going to get in my way. She is surrounded by an opulent cornucopia of fruits to signify the feast of art we are surrounded by Near her is a severed (sniveling) goats head symbolizing my need to conquer and control my darker self destructive side. She is shackled to a weighted ball to insure that I stay grounded (don't get TOO arrogant) and because I am a slave to my mission. Not shown but already added is a distant burning classical temple/colosseum with people fleeing from it to the hills. This is to acknowledge the classics that all art stems from, and to assert that the future of art means burning down those old preconceived notions. The banner is a phrase I have imbedded in every piece I've made for the last 6 years. It says I AM NOT LOST in latin.
When I get a more recent photo, I'll post it.

Kiladephia, Filthadelphia, I think I need to learn French.
Current mood: calm
Category: Art and Photography
9 days ago a 14 year old kid was shot dead because he didn't move his bicycle out of the street fast enough by a car full of 18 year olds. It was five blocks from my house. The city is averaging 10 murders a week. I've walked past the crime scene a million times in the past. It's considered a nice block.
6 days ago I stood at a stop light I watched a well dressed middle aged man dump out a very large bag of McDonald's trash from the window of his Suburban. He didn't just dump the bag into the street, he dumped out the contents of the bag into the street. There are no street cleaners in my neighborhood because my neighbors petitioned to make the city stop. They didn't want to move their cars.
4 days ago I went to Montreal with a bunch of friends. Have you ever been to Montreal? If you have you know. If you haven't, you won't
Last night I returned. I'm sure they have problems. But it's not Kiladelphia, it's not Filthadelphia. Those four days were like someone giving you that desperate cigarette just in the nick of time. Returning was like having it slapped out of your mouth after just one puff.

I'm lecturing in Stockholm Sweden for a week
Current mood: refreshed
Well it's confirmed.
I am going to be shipped out and put up in Stockholm this October with old Family of Shame Alumni Ryan Widger. I am going to guest lecture at Konstfack University for a week in October for a photo class entitled "the banality of horror"
You want to know horror? Try placing Ryan and me together in Sweden for a week in October.
Speaking of Ryan please stop by Ryan's page and drop him a line (www.myspace.com/2745344) disparaging his lacking whiskey drinking skills, his inability to maintain a clean navel or his waning sexual acumen towards the young boys he pursues.

UPDATED Viva las vegas: This was a wedding no one will ever forget.
Current mood: full
Vegas for 5 days is probably too much for anyone to handle. As I boarded the plane, bleary eyed and stinking, I actually thought to myself, "I think I need a break from fun." But I loved that town, grotesquely overblown, over sized, over extravagant over indulgent. It stank of sex and money and greed and vice and I loved every second. I probably only had a total of 9 hours of sleep the entire time we were there. 6 am was the average time I went to bed, There was almost never a time when I didn't have a drink in my hand. Except for the afternoon of our wedding day, which was spent fighting off alcohol poisoning.
Roller coasters strippers Wax museums Mud wrestling Giant bloody steaks and bottles of Champagne 57 ounce beers more strippers Whiskey out of the bottle in the street Fireworks vomit gay circus acts Strange pills Dancing show girls good pot Chili dogs for breakfast Pockets full of poker chips Punk rock bands Bloody mary's Stacks of whore cards Room service turkey Screaming preachers Steve's hat Sharks in the pool all shared with 60 friends and family who were willing to spend a whole lot of money to come celibrate our day and witness the most bizarre wedding ever held.
-We didn't let Comcast film the wedding for T.V. They refused to pay us and wanted to bring in big film crews and lights. Fuck that.
-Beth's mother was confused about the price is right taping in Vegas, it was not the price as right at all, but a "Vegas Show" version of the game. That's Ok, My bride, myself, and 300 old women had fun anyway.
Some other favorite moments, -Seeing the Cramps one last time before they are put in a home -Surviving the stratosphere -Vomit coming out of athena's nose -The hippy girl passed out on the toilet at the double down saloon. -John Goreham NOT shitting his pants -Amy flashing her boobs -Cory NOT flashing her boobs -Steve's hat -Fran's suit -In-law Dan's first lap-dance -Ass Juice
Oh yeah, and there was the wedding. Smoke machines rubber corpses skull head grooms men Skull head wedding bands singing Elvis disco lights BDSM dressed Vampire trapeze artists swinging in the rafters to Def Leopard and the silliest dracula I've ever seen. and of course Beth.
Beth is an extraordinary girl. She is someone who commands attention when she walks into the room. Shockingly beautiful, sexy and glamorous. She is cuttingly witty, eloquently well spoken and disturbingly intelligent. In all my life I have never met someone who is so free spirited, open minded, confident, and centered. She is intensely patient, loyal and fun to be around. She has a sharp business mind and is a skilled restaurant quality chef with an extensive knowledge of cheese and wine. Every day I eat, drink and fuck like a king. I am one of the most over indulged, spoiled, lucky men on the planet. Most importantly she puts up with me, my hyper manic episodes and my psychotic moments. Seeing her walk down that isle was like a dream. In fact our whole relationship has been like a dream. It is one that I have no intention of waking up from.
here are the "official" wedding photos
********
I was going to wait to post some of these wedding and reception photos until I had as many images to choose from as I could. I'm still waiting on several people, so I'm going to go ahead and post some now.
