Beware of bootleggers!

BEWARE

Every now and then we come across some bastard selling bootlegged SOPOR-shirts on ebay. 

Not only is it highly illegal (and a right pain in the arse that these fuckers are ripping us artists off), but what's even more important: you won't be getting any value for your money, because ALL of these bootleg shirts are of SHIT quality !!!

Seriously, they might look great in the advertisements, but in reality they are either made just using cheap iron-on computer-prints (the kind you would get in any old copy-shop) ... or they are of such a low quality that after just one washing you end up with nothing but a plain black shirt.

This Italian guy here was photographed selling his shit at this year's M'ERA LUNA festival (August 9th, 2008). The photos were taken by Apocalyptic Vision Records. All SOPOR-shirts you can see here got confiscated on the spot, and have since been donated to the DRK (German Red Cross).

If you want to support your favourite bands/artists, then please buy their regular releases ... or, alternatively, if you desire to have a shirt that no-one else has: well, why not try to be creative for a change and just make one, huh?!
Simply take some acrylic paint and ... go wild with it! You can always scan or photo-copy a logo from an album, make a template, and paint it onto your shirt. It's far more rewarding (and better for your immortal soul) than giving your money to some criminal.

However, if you feel that you have no artistic bone in your body ... well ... don't despair, because that's not much of a problem either. If it's only about having a band-name on a shirt, there are lots of internet shops (like spreadshirt for example, or simply google the words "shirt print") that offer textile-prints (for bags, shirts and what not) in really good quality. All you need to do is to choose a shirt, select a font that you like, and type in the name of your favourite band correctly ... - and voila: there is your individual shirt!


If you have already done so, and you're bursting with pride ... well, why not send us a photo of you wearing your D.I.Y.-SOPOR-shirt (or just the shirt, if you're too shy), and we'll be happy to post it here for everyone to see.    After all, this is »MySpace«, playground of ultimate ego-masturbation ...
