I am so excited about this site!  I first fell in love with the Chicago Metromix in 2002.  It's by far the best place to go when you're searching for something to do, drink, eat or see.  Today I saw that the release party is coming up at the end of the month and will be at The Venue (which I've been wanting to go to anyway).  Check it out...

Warped Tour 2008

Getting ready to leave for Warped Tour!  I'm on the recycling crew, which is awesome.  Not only do I get to help the environment, but I get in FREE, work for a few hours and even go backstage to pick stuff up.  Then I can check out some bands and hang out for the rest of the day.  It's so awesome.  I volunteered a few years ago and it was well worth it. 

This year I'm psyched about seeing the Horrorpops and Reel Big Fish!!!

Right on.  I'm out.

King Corn!

This movie is worth seeing.  I just rented it from Netflix.  King Corn has truely opened by eyes to the way food production is really done America.  I am frightened by what goes into High Fructose Corn Syrup.  I mean, I knew it was bad for you, but what goes into this "product" is ridiculous and it's in EVERYTHING!  What I didn't realize is how much we use corn in this country and what it actually does to our bodies.  Watch this trailer...

This movie has changed my outlook on food in America.  You should really rent this movie if you haven't already.
