FILMING UPDATE

Well I haven't been that updative and it's been weeks since I updated, but well I AM UPDATING. So now filming has already began and set pics soon along with a trailer, I PROMISE. But now I have a few new things. First, the mask of the Goblin has been changed due to budget. Instead of the mask that we thought of, we are going to be using a mask that is skull like but painted dark green. Also the pumpkin bombs will be painted using baseball's. 4 baseballs will be used. Anyways moving right along.

Andi Kiminez couldn't do the project anymore so we are looking for a new Mary Jane. I'm shooting only the last parts of the 2nd act and the 3rd Act, because well I had my haircut already. Anyways expect an update in the next 2 weeks on what's going on, expect promo pics and everything else

RETURNS BLOG 2: THE DIFFRENT LOOKS OF PETER PARKER

While filming has already begun, we were talking about the diffrent looks on how Peter Parker would look through out the movie. We decided to go through 3 distinct looks, one his old look, the second is his depressed look which features how he looks with an after shadow and just looks really really depressing in a way. His third look is BRAND NEW PARKER. No not Brand New Day Spider Man, a new look to Peter Parker basically. A look that was never done in comics yet. Pictures on how the charachter will look through out the movie will be posted up around June along with the first trailer.

PS: Now filming has begun and its only the small scenes really. The big scenes will be shot next month in May. Also alot of filming will take place in New York City. By the way the first trailer will be arriving soon on June 1st. It is a small small teaser and you won’t expect anything big really, again it is just a teaser. You will see actual footage from the movie though and finally the look of the Spider Man costume, Green Goblin and Shocker. Also Mary Jane and Harry appear in the trailer. So far for the first movie (since it will span through 2 movies) we were deciding not to use original music for the first movie but to use music from other artists from other movies. The list of the movies which the scores will be used for Spider Man Returns are

You probaly are thinking, WHAT THE HELL?! But you will see, a track list of the score wont be released till the movie is done editing. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this blog.

RETURNS BLOG 1

The movie is progressing I guess better than ever, the script is finished and right now I'm going through some training and tomorrow begins weight lifting, running, crawling and work on agility for the movie. Also...

Filming is expected to begin around spring break in March. With class and school getting in the way I can't just immediatley jump in the movie. So we're going to have to wait. Also the story has been changed, the original storyline took place with just a simple revenge, it's still a revenge type of story, but it will leave youa t the edge of your seat thriller. It's a wild twist and turns story really. Anyways expect appearences in the script from other Spider Man villains. You won't see one of them till you see the movie when it's released, but you won't be dissapointed.

INTERVIEW WITH ALEX SOTO DIRECTOR, WRITER, PRODUCER,ACTOR

Hi I'm Robert Fernandez Jr. taking over the SMDE MySpace for awhile and giving you an exclusive interivew of the creator of SMDE. Check it out.

Robert: How ya doing?

Alex: Good man.

Robert: Thats cool, time to ask some questions eh?

Alex: No prob.

Robert: So are you a huge fan of Spider Man and his world?

Alex: Am I? Gosh I love Spider Man, his story is so unique from others, I've never seen a superhero like this one because he is so unique, so cool, so stylish, his life is like never before and you get the feel that man his Peter Parker life is just like mine, so you relate to him. He's a hero that I related to through life, comics, games and movies.

Robert: Thats why this fan-film is being released right?

Alex: Yea, I really believe alot of other fan-films might surpass mine. But who knows, I'm just trying to do a fan-film thats all, this is my love for Spider Man you know as a true fan.

Robert: Whats the story about?

Alex: It's about the death of Norman Osborn and how Harry wants revenge for the death of Norman Osborn. It's really a great story with all these cool charachters so yea you know I'm down with the story and all. But it's a story that will leave you like HOLY SHIT or something like that. Theres alot going on there you know.

Robert: What's so hard about creating the atmosphere of Spider Man since your shooting in Tampa instead of New Jersey

Alex: Well you know it's been kind of hard to go up there, I mean I had a full cast till I had to flush down the cast which I really don't wanna do but then again its an oppurtunity as what I wanna be when I grow up and that is be in movies. So creating an atmosphere where there's all palm trees and all that is yea pretty freaken hard but theres alot of small areas that have like an atmosphere of at least a city that looks like New York and that will pull you into the story more. It's very cool.

Robert: Will there be a sequel?

Alex: Yea there will be but I can't reveal anything about it..

Robert: I heard you're planning other fan-films?

Alex: Yup.

Robert: What's going on with Green Lantern?

Alex: Well it's an entirely new story with a new super villain. But it's a basic hero and villain story really and theres the damsel in distress. Its a really good story that will lock you into the flick. We start shooting November.

Robert: What about the Star Wars Chronicles?

Alex: It's about the Jedi on how it began and stuff. Can't really say much about it.

Robert: Spider Man Reborn?

Alex: July 2008.

Robert: That's the release?

Alex: Yup. Expect it around there.

Robert: What about you're other stuff like The Soto Family, Iron Ninja II etc.

Alex: Soto Family is still happening and Iron Ninja II is barely enough time to do it but I'm still trying too. That Halo Thing is going to get charachters, it might get a name change though. Other than that I am planning a superhero parody soon or villain, don't really know yet.

Robert: Sounds great. So is Lock and Load growing?

Alex: Yes it is, I am trying to make it bigger and better as opose to actually getting other crew members and actors involved its going to be a tuff challenge. So soon in 2008, well late 2008 expect like some huge news. Lock and Load will be big.
