mutha fuckin roller derby

I was havin’ such a ruff morning and ready to cancel the baby sitter i got so i could go to practice tonight when i checked my mail and read the artical in the cav daily. it made me think of seeing the aurthor in R2 the next night and telling him that roller derby saved my life. so fuck yes i’ll be @ practice tonight. broken fucking nose and all!!! ROLLER DERBY FUCKING ROCKS!!!!!!!

So I get a phone call while im at work Saturday and its some girl Ive never met before telling me that Feliciti is in the street and suicidal and has left Lailani in the apartment with "some guy". So I freak. My bosses were so helpful and asked no questions and told me to go. So I get Nick to drive me up there and get the baby. The fucking asshole that beat the shit out of her is there, the house is a wreck she is hysterical and tells me shes getting evicted and has no money and no place to live come the end of the month. She feels like shes having a nervous breakdown. Wonder why. If I was getting kicked out of my house with a 2 year old because I partied too much and was shacked up with an asshole that beat me, I think I would wanna die too. But I wouldn't get myself in that position. And if I had a baby i would grow the fuck up and take care of business. She brought this shit on herself and I'm tired of Lailani being caught in the middle. I'm also tired of seeing a new strange man hanging around the house every time I'm there. doing drugs and God knows what else in front of my niece. I just can't send her back to that madness this time. I am in no way saying I am better then she is. Lord knows I'm not. I just think I'm in a way better place then she is. Maybe this is Gods way of telling me it's time for me to grow up.

Roller Skates Rock!!

finally got to wear my new skates. got home from work @ 2am and was like fuck it!!! im gonna skate around the hood. it was so much fun. i got some kick ass exercise and my dog got worn out twice as much in half the time! C-ville Derby Dames Rock!!! Thanks for getting me off my ass and excited about something agin. Looking forward to going to the match in Richmond Sunday and/or seeing you at practice Wednesday!!!

just got the word that Josh (the kid that got hurt on the river) is gonna be fine!!!! my heart is so happy and light. he's not gonna be parylized and no brain damage. it is truly a freeking mirical. they are even gonna let him walk aroung a lil tomorrow!! right on Josh!!! and thanks to all the peeps that helped that day and all the prayers!!!
and..... I'm taking my gimpy ass back to work tomorrow !!!!!!!and i found three shifts . so i'll be working fri. sat and sun. might make rent after all. i'm so freeking excited about working again. i can't wait!!
