Hey peeps,

I got to host the poetry reading at Galileo last Wednesday!
It's been a long time...and I'm a bit out of practice, but hey,
I let it flow and it seemed to go well!

Tapestry featured and recorded the read for an upcomming CD,
and I ran amock taking pictures of all the poets.

The pictures up in my photos on the mySpace thingy so take a peek if ya want!.

This is everything straight from the camera, no cropping, no color correction...so don't
hate on my skills based on these images.

So, it's no secret that I suffer from major iPod envy!!!!
However, no matter how badly I want one, there's always something missing.
I've seen the various models...nano, video, shuffle, heck; even a U2 model!!!???!!!

So, I've decided to design my own version and hope that the great minds at Apple realize what that this is what their product line needs, rush it to mass production, and send me a free one!!!!!

I'm Gobbling up Glory Bumps!

Well, the Shriekback is upon us again! (For those of you unfamiliar, get thine heathen selves to the nearest music procurement establishment and begin gobbling up all theings Shriek!)

The new album, "Glory Bumps" comes out next month, and the mighty Shriek have been kind enough to offer up source recordings the re-mixing by the masses! As such, I have grasped the torch and held it to my computer 'til it burned a glorious little re-mix all my own. Man Hole Covers and My Future

I went in for a job interview with the FAA last week. It was one of those panel interviews where three people from the company interviewed little old me!

There I sat in a tiny little room with three people all looking at me with scrutiny! They introduce themselves then dive into the questions. The first guy asks a series of tech questions (What programs, file formats, operating systems are you familiar with? How do you handle fie structures? etc.). I answer each question with minima success and a lot of random comedy.

Next up is a guy named Harry. Harry is old-school air-traffic controller. He says in his introduction that he's spent most of his life working in the terminal. I, of course, mention that it's got to be scarey going to work every day knowing it's terminal!

Harry laughs a bit and then gets a very serious look on his face. He says "I only have one question..." (This looks like it's gonna be a tough one!!!!!) Then he leans back in his chair and asks,
"Why are all man hole covers round?"

My answer, by the way was very wrong!!!!!!!!!

The inteview proceeded from there, and I went home a bit confused! However, yesterday I got a call and I start December 22nd!!!!!!!!!

By the way, Harry told me the answer...do you know?
