Temecula Film & Music Festival Fun & Frolic
Current mood: bouncy
Well the festival is finally over..... we had a great time, met a lot of cool people and got the music into more hands. We got to play in front of some heavyweights in the business; Steve Dorff, Art Ford, Bernard Baur, John Braheny, Tim Sweeney (more info). They gave us great feedback and loved the music.
Every band that played was really fucking great. My favorites were Bobby Breakdown and Rebekah Jordan. Rebekah's version of Dreams by Fleetwood Mac is amazing to say the least.
Saturday night after the awards show they had free food!!! in the Pechenga Ballroom. We hung out with Bobby Breakdown and Hayley Gene. Hayley told me she thought we sounded like a cross between Bon Jovi and Jesus Christ Superstar. That's definitely the most unique description of the music I have ever heard. The Bon Jovi part made me cringe a little but she thought it was a compliment so whatever....
