I've had several people ask me how I can write full time from home, and still pay all the bills and live comfortably, while finalizing my latest screenplay.

Anyway, I hope this helps. My goal has been to have variety and make money doing what I love to do. All of these things I love to do, and I would be doing them anyway, so I found a way to monetize them.

So, my advice would be to discover what YOU love, and see who excels in that market, then go for it! First get the two ebooks on the Bulls Eye Site, then look at World Ventures. On Soulmates: 1+1 = ONE

Many people have asked me over the years if I believe in the concept of "Soulmates."  My answer has always been consistent:  If you believe you are meant to be with "the one," then you are. 

On the other side of it, if you find that belief not resonant with how you feel, but yet are not adverse to relationships, then perhaps you are a person who will have many soulmate type of connections over your life.  Neither is wrong. 

In either situation, the following is formula key to remember:

1+1 = One

What do I mean by that? 

Quite simply, it means that when two people come together, whole in and of themselves, then it creates an even more wonderful "One."  When that is the case, and you are whole in and of yourself, not looking for another to "complete" you, then the original question becomes moot.  You can always enjoy the Now, whether now ends up being five days or five decades. 

I'll say it three ways: 

*You are already complete in and of yourself.  You have both masculine and feminine attributes, and you have all of the resources you need within yourself. 

*Be your own Lover to yourself and you will find that reflecting in the external to the extent that you Love yourself. 

*If you are in Love with yourself, then others will be in Love with you. 

Essentially, this is the Law of Attraction at work. 

Many people try to find this internal harmony and create this love affair artificically, creating more of an arrogance or conceit.  Of course, that energy is like a beacon that actually exaggerates the insecurity below hundreds of times over. 

Your Heart will know it if you don't really believe you are worthy of Love. 

I tell you, you ARE! 

Yes, no matter what you've done, mistakes you've made in the past, how your body or face looks, what education you do or don't have, the money you have or feel you lack, whether you live in a penthouse or a van down by the river, whether you are short or tall, black or white, whether you are Christian, Jewish, Wiccan, Islamic, Buddhist, Hindu, agnostic, or atheist, whether you grew up in a two-parent household or in an orphanage, whether you were the star jock or the geeky nerd, whether you have blue eyes or brown, whether you have ten kids or are barren, whether you own a sportscar or a jalopy, whether you are homeless and poor, or rich and famous....

No matter who you are or where you are...

You deserve Love.  You are worthy of Love. 

Now say it to yourself, Beloved...

I am worthy of Love.  I deserve Love. 

Breathe it in deeper, and let your lungs fill with life.  Then, let your inner Masculine say to your Feminine...I love you.  I will lead you into actions that protect you, and build you up, thus building us both up.  I breathe my Light of courage into your Being, and illuminate your path with golden beams of adoration.  I cherish you, and I will bring into manifestation your deepest Heart's most sensuous desires.  Your wish is my command, Beloved...

And really feel it. 

Then, breathe in again and hear your soft, melodic Feminine voice say to her Man.  I love you.  I give you permission to enter your Light into me so I can expand the entire Universe for You.  I shall sustain and nourish you, and love you up so big, that you feel completely free and limitless, because you are.  I envelop you with a renewable, eternal empowerment.  I bring you Infinity.  We shall be united for all Eternity, my dearest Beloved...

Wow...how do you feel now? 

See what I mean about the original question as now being not applicable? 

The moment you are truly in love with yourself, love will find you, reflected in your outside world. 

Remember, you are worthy.  Fall in love with yourself.  And also remember...

1 + 1 = One

BACK TO THE MIDDLE: THE PATH TO SPIRITUAL INTEGRATION

In astrological circles, many believe that the earlier signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer) are more "infantile" and their struggle is to overcome their "un-evolved" nature to get to the other end of the wheel to become more like the supposedly "evolved" last signs (Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces). 

Then there are the middle signs (Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio), which are just sort of like, "stops" along the way.  Like the middle child syndrome in a family.  Not the oldest, the supposedly wiser and more experienced leader, and not the baby, which needs constant attention, support, and affirmation.  They don't really have too much of a role, because they aren't the ultimate goal for the baby to aspire to.  No one is really counting on them too much.  They are more seen and not heard.  Like the middle child, they are always a "day late and a dollar" short, or as my Grandmother used to say, "too old for toys and too young for boys." 

And there you have it.  A common view of spiritual transformation and integration.  The baby acts like a baby for a while, then goes out on its own, making a temporary pit stop in the middle, then (angels of heaven opening up in choral unison) they make it to the ultimate goal: the end. 

Only something is wrong with this picture.  How many of those with heavy Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces influences do you know that seem to exemplify that "ultimate goal?"  Honestly, don't they seem just as screwed up as anyone else?  But, how can this possibly BE? 

Well, one way of viewing this scenario might be as a wheel.  Not difficult, since astrology is presented as a natal "wheel."  There is a good reason for this.  Think about a wheel, and what it needs to keep turning (evolving).  If any part of that wheel is inadequate, broken, or irrelevant, with only one part that is "in tact," how far is that wheel going get?  If the transformation wheel is broken in the first, and weak in the middle, but has one strong part at the end, of what use is it?  How far can you get on a flat tire?  Doesn't the car or bike spin completely out of control?  What happens when something is out of control?  Even the earth itself spins on a carefully balanced point of axis.  If that axis ever fails, the earth can spin out of control into space, potentially killing every creature on it, blowing up in the sun, or crashing into another planet.  What is the ONLY thing that helps regain harmony?  That's right, it's balance.  When you are out of control, the place of balance and harmony is in the NOW moment.  That hallowed ground, is also called the "middle ground." 

Perhaps it's time to re-examine this narrow view of transformation, evolution, and integration.

Perhaps it's time to come back to the middle...

Push Down and Turn

It's funny the things you think about when your brain needs to take a rest from the "job." 

I just remembered this funny experience I had back when I lived in Indy.  My friends and I for fun would go to karaoke bars and sing (Oh come on, you know you've done it too.  He who is without sin can cast the first stone).  Anyway, there was this attractive young guy who got up and sang "Just a Gigolo" by David Lee Roth.  He did  an incredible performance.  

So the next time he was there, I asked him if he would sing it again, and he did.  And he sounded great again. 

So he comes up to me and says, yeah, I thought you were requesting it from me, because I'm a *feigning humility* a PRO.  I said, you're a what?  He said, I thought you wanted me to sing that song because you know that I'm a "pro."  I looked at him very quizzingly, and he said, "you know, push down and turn."  He repeated, "push down and turn."

Well now my interest was piqued!  Noting the song he sang, about being a gigolo, I put two and two together.  I had met a real live male prostitute!  And, considering myself quite well versed in the sexual arena, I was intrigued at this new "push down and turn" technique.  I returned to my girlfriends' table buzzing with excitement at the prospect of adding something new to my extensive boudoir repertoire!

I said to the ladies, that guy...he's a pro!  A male hooker.  A call guy...let's pump him for info (so to speak)! 

They laughed so hard, they nearly fell out of their chairs.  I said, "what?"  Once they calmed down enough to speak, they told me, with now tears of laughter in their eyes running their mascara, "he's a professional musician! That's what he meant by being a pro.  His band is called Push Down and Turn!"  I said, "you mean that's not a sexual technique?"  From the howls of laughter that ensued, I gathered not. 

I'm not going to lie and say I wasn't disappointed that I had not actually met a real male prostitute.  Here he was trying to work me, like I was some stupid groupie who knew exactly who he was, and the whole time I was wondering if the push down and turn strategy was with the woman or the man on top! 

But you can rest assured that I wasn't fooled the next time someone told me they were a "pro," followed by the phrase, "you know, Sit and Spin?"

For Those Who've Never Had a Mother...

I'm not specifically talking to those who "just don't get along" with their mothers...and occassionally have times when they don't speak to each other.  At the end of the day, you do have that sense of the maternal looking out for you, whether you agree with her or not...
You still have a Mother.

I'm not necessarily talking to those whose mothers gave them up for adoption, and then they got adopted by a woman who raised them as their mother.  While your heart may grieve and wonder why your birth mother gave you away, the truth is...
You still have a Mother.

I'm not speaking to those who had a loving mother, and then lost her to disease, or a car accident, or some other tragedy.  While your grief and sense of loss may be unbearable at times...
You still have and had a Mother.

I'm not talking to those who were raised by another family member as their mother.  And, while you feel that the deception around it may be difficult to forgive, at least people around you cared enough to make sure you had someone to raise you as your "Mom"...
You still have a Mother. 

No, I'm talking to those like me.  Those who were raised by a woman they know to be their biological mother.  And yet, somehow, and for some reason, she did not ever want you, make you feel safe, or let you know you are accepted and loved.  She's made it clear that you are and were nothing but a burden in her life.  She's let you know under no uncertain terms that she regrets having had you, and kept you.  This is confusing to you, because you are a good, healthy, intelligent kid.  You don't know why she doesn't love you.  So you try and try for years and years to melt the coldness in her eyes and have her at least once SEE you and acknowledge you as a valuable being.  But she cannot and will not do it.  Later, you realize, after much counseling that it is because of her and not you. 

There is a certain sense of being unsettled when you know as a child that your own mother does not love you or want you.  That she has chosen to project all of her displeasure with her own life onto you personally, an innocent child.  When you know throughout your entire life that the one person who is supposed to love you unconditionally simply hates you...it changes you forever.  Sure, it's hard with the Father archetype as well, but men are like that so we just sort of as a world society almost pass that off as men's nature.  But, without a mother...it's like you never can quite get the sense that you are safe in the world.  Or that you even belong in it....

So you watch other people go after their dreams, while you search around for that sense of self and groundedness that having a mother provides.  You can never seem to get "warm" enough, no matter how many layers of socks you put on, soup you consume, or logs you put on the flame. 

No, we are a different breed altogether.  We must find our own sense of self, within the self.  So, I want you to pretend for just a moment...and really see if you can do this, because I have a message for you.  Pretend I am your Mother...your true Mother, who got separated from you somehow and you ended up with that wicked woman lying to you.  Forget about her for a second, and pretend...for I have a message for you, My Beautiful Child...

*breathe deep*
I am so proud of you, My Beloved Child.
I always wanted you, and I'm so joyful that you are in the world!!
All I've ever wanted was to see you happy, healthy, and living out your dreams. 
My heart lights up whenever you enter the room. 
I am always with you, every second of every hour, even in the darkest ones.
Whenever you miss me, I will appear.  Just lie down, and breathe deeply, and feel my fingers caressing your head and moving through your hair. 
I am holding you in my arms and singing you to sleep. 
You are totally safe with me, and I love you unconditionally. 
My Beloved Child, My Blessed Child. 
You are warm in my embrace.
You are sheltered by my protective Mother instincts.
When you step onto the soft green grass, I am there holding you up. 
When you walk along the sandy beach, you are sinking into my groundedness. 
When you smell any flowers, that is my perfume tickling your sense of humor, for we laugh alot, My Child and Me...
When you touch an oak tree, that is my strengh, transferring to you, and spreading out below the surface, deep into the earth.  Unshakeable, honorable, and in integrity.  I give this unwavering strength and courage to you freely, and the supply is infinite...

I love you without measure.  You are perfect, and beautiful.  You are the greatest blessing I could have ever asked for.  I am always with you...

So be at peace, and move out into the world with confidence, for I am always here to support you.

EPIC FANTASY GENRE:

Daywalker:  This is the story of the redemption of the Divine Feminine, and where it became seemingly lost.  It tracks Satori, an ethereal being who is a witness to a horrifying event that not only transforms her into the vicious vampire Daywalker, but imprisons her seemingly forever.  She meets two vampire killers, Scarlett and Gianni, who seem strangely familiar.  Quickly they realize that the Daywalker is no ordinary vampire.  They also begin to understand that the saving the Daywalker is the key to saving all of humanity.  Can they help her unravel the secrets without getting killed by her, or worse yet, one of the many vampire bounty hunters all stalking and closing in on her?  Who is the Daywalker really?  Along the epic fantasy genre in the style of Tolkien's Lord of the Rings or C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia, Daywalker seeks to find the Original Cause of some of the deepest burning questions inside all of us.  Where did things go so wrong?  How can we repair that which never should have been torn?  Is there any hope at all for Humanity?  A deeply moving spiritual odyssey that involves all of us at our Core.

Capricorn Moon: Human Silk: my "autobiography" (with names slightly changed, including my own) that then takes a fictitious turn that allows me to flow into imagining  the swinging of the unbalanced patriarchal, misogynistic pendulum back towards the Mother/Feminine.   The story follows "Stevie's" violently abusive past, and how she overcame great challenges.  She always had a heart for the less fortunate, and the abused, especially women and children.  Over time, she becomes overwhelmed with all of the horrible misogyny in the world and throughout history.  She is disenchanted with life and its double-standards.  The news incessantly talks of abuse, murder, rape, incest, trafficking, child pornography rings, Satanic rituals, over and over and over.  Until one day in her mid-thirties, she just snaps.  Something shifts in her and she begins to take matters into her own hands.  What started out as a one-woman vigilante ended up becoming a huge movement-a revolution spreading throughout the world like a wildfire in the driest desert.  Turns out, she wasnt the only one sick of it all!

Capricorn Moon II: Kali's Revenge: Unfortunately like attracts like, and it seems that to tip the pendulum back may require some pretty harsh and oftentimes violent retaking back of Her power.  Only to realize that, yes the pendulum has swung back the other direction, but at what terrifyingly brutal cost?  This wasn't what Steve was after at all.  The world is now dominated by women instead of men, but it still doesn't feel good.  The battle to get here was so bloody that now the victory is totally bitter without any sweet.  Before she could stop it, the revolution took over with its own kinesthetic force.  She realizes that very soon, men will become extinct if she does not step in.  This was not what she wanted at all.  How ironic that what she thought was the enemy is now the very group she is trying to save from total annihilation!  While she still has at least some authority, is it too late for Stevie to sway the tides back into balance and Harmony?  Now Stevie understands why this very situation is most men's deepest fear--the fear of being destroyed by the feminine.  Now she understands misogyny and its Original Cause.  Now that their worst fear has come to pass, can Stevie stop this force before it totally destroys the Masculine?

Toshiro/Gustav: (title will change): this story is based on an elaborate ongoing fantasy I had from the ages of 15 until about 23 years old.  A young woman is inadvertently kidnapped by the handsome, charismatic, and mysterious Japanese mogul/assassin lord Toshiro.  Unable to return her back to her family, but unwilling to kill her, the woman becomes a house servant.  It quickly becomes clear that this woman has an ineffable power, intelligence, and formidable hold on men which could make her a valuable assassin.  As Toshiros favorite student, she is then trained in all fashions of assassination, as well as the ways of l'amour.  Only to be captured by the equally formidable Gustav, the gorgeous electric blue-eyed German assassin lord and mortal enemy of Toshiro.  Under Gustav's instruction, she learns even more critical skills of her trade, as well as in the boudoir.  Unfortunately for her, she finds herself, believe it or not, in love with both of these cold-blooded killers.  What she doesn't know is that they are also both deeply in love with her...a fact that will lead to untold amounts of both bloodshed and exhilarations beyond imagination.   GENRE: SUSPENSE/THRILLER/ROMANCE

Underbelly:  She can enter your soul through your eyes as a portal.  Once she's inside, she can do whatever she wants.  You cannot hide from her, nor can you deny your deepest, filthiest, meanest cruelest thoughts.  Fortunately for her, but unfortunately for you, she does tend to have a thirst for equalizing sociopaths.  In her own rather razor sharp manner, she does let you know that somewhere you are going to have to answer for your cruel intentions and behavior.  Wouldnt it be nice if you knew that somewhere somehow there was dark angel holding cruel people accountable for their actions, even when they escape societal laws?  Do people really get away with it in the long run?  She is here to tell you that they do not!  Her name is LOA, and you all have met Her before, in one form or another.  There is a twist in this novel that you wouldnt expect!  A provocative, edgy exploration of the darkest parts of the human psyche, as well as the lightest parts of the human Soul. GENRE: SUSPENSE/THRILLER/SCIENCE FICTION

WOMENS/CHICK LIT GENRE:

Guy Stories: Tongue in cheek (by that I mean raunchy, no holds barred) sort of expose of the lame stories that guys seem to collectively tell, but havent figured out that we women have figured them out, until now!  Ladies, lets call these jerks out on these pathetic stories they tell ALL of us at one time or another!  GENRE: CHICK LIT/WOMEN'S HUMOR/SEXUALITY

Goddess University: A tongue-in-cheek (there's that phrase again) "channeling" from a few of the more commonly known Goddess Archetypes as schoolteachers, starting with kindergarten basics 101 with Miss Kali, moving all the way through the PhD courses of Ms. Gaia, the Goddess of the Earth's infinite wisdom.  Other notables who have messages throughout the schooling are: Mrs. Kwan Yin, Miss Luna, and Miss Aphrodite.   GENRE: CHICK LIT/WOMENS/HUMOR

Terminal Tea: two women meet regularly in an airport over tea to discuss the sordid details of their many sexy journeys around the world.  Is it real or are they just extremely imaginative?  Does it matter, when you have to take a cold shower after each of their stories? GENRE: CHICK LIT/WOMEN'S/PULP FICTION

Yin Yang: In a world full of double standards, it is difficult for a man to really be able to relate to how a woman experiences and moves through life.  Until now...a man finds himself suddenly thrust into the world he could not understand before.  A touching, sensitive look at how one man is transformed by the power of empathy.  GENRE: PULP FICTION/WOMEN'S

Tactics of the Treacherous Woman: How She Betrays the Sisterhood:  Companion to Guy Stories.  What ladies, you thought you were innocent in everything?  I dont think so!  This story documents all of the things that women do to betray the Feminine, themselves, and each other.  Everything from manipulation, to competing with other women, to jealousy, to seeking validation of self through fragmented men, to withholding, to sexual games, to manipulating with sex, to getting breast implants, to posing for nude magazines, to ostracizing other women, to treacherous mothers who raise misogynists, to co-dependency, to self-mutilation, to self-rejection, to stealing or flirting with your best friend's boyfriend/husband, to the treacherous world of the teenage girl,  to gold-digging, to even accepting/accommodating abuse.  What would happen if we all collectively stopped torturing each other and banded together for once?  That can't happen until we call out treacherous behavior and commit to changing and transforming beyond it.  The next time you see something that you think looks real good, think again, you are probably dealing with a Treacherous Woman.  GENRE: WOMEN'S/CHICK LIT

Dakini: tracks the wondrous journey of a modern day tantricka/courtesan/sexual healer.  Discover the True power of the Divine Feminine in healing the deepest wounds of our being.  Her journey is all of our journeys.  GENRE: SPIRITUAL/SEXUALITY

 Amnesia:  (title will most likely change):  an exhausted, overtaxed American woman traveling to the English countryside has a terrible accident and cannot remember who she is.  She ends up, without any identification whatsoever, and without the ability to speak, in a quaint country hospital, under the care of the handsome, gentle English doctor, who nurses her back to health.  He slowly teaches her to speak again....and now she has British accent!  Over time they build a special bond, and even a very simple, beautiful, loving life together...until one day she remembers who she really is.  Can she go back to her prior life?  Does she tell anyone she remembers? Would you?   GENRE: ROMANCE

 Robotic Love: A spin on the attractiveness of unemotionally attached sex with artificial intelligence based humanoids.  A man and woman take a trip to a bizarre cabin resort center, whereupon she is horrified to learn that her fiance has signed himself up for what he thinks is appropriate sex with an AI female of his choosing.  What he doesnt know but they will both soon discover is that the package also includes an AI man of HER choice as well!  At first she balks, but then changes her mind as her resentment builds.  Tables turn as he finds himself on the jealous end, unable to even enjoy or partake in what he thought was going to be harmless fun for him, as his terror comes to the surface at the thought that the AI man may please her better than he does.  GENRE: SCIENCE FICTION/ROMANCE

The Writer Love Story (this title will definitely change): this book details the journeys of two writers, one man and one woman...through their struggles, triumphs, relationships, and evolution of consciousness.  Synchronicities and parallels abound, although each feels like they are the only one experiencing such things.  Each one intrinsically feels throughout their lives that they both are missing some part of themselves that they can't quite figure out what it is.  Both decide to check out of life and go be hermits for a while to ponder this vexing question.  What are the odds that they would end up in the same isolate cabin in the woods at the exact same time in their lives?  GENRE: ROMANCE

The Trashy Novel Series:  this is my spoof on the Harlequin romance genre, which is HUGE and with good reason.  People love to explore these playful levels of sexual energy, even though they would never engage in certain things.  But they are fun to think about!  I'm no exception to that rule.  Sure, they are pretty much "smut" novels, but who cares?  They are fun and will sell like hotcakes because they are steamy, delicious, and totally irreverent!  Enjoy!  GENRE: ROMANCE

CHILDREN'S GENRE:

The Lumpheaded Horse: the first in a series of graphic children's novels. I wrote and illustrated this story when I was 8 years old, my very first book and it made the teacher cry.  It is a unique spin on the Ugly Duckling story, told my way, and with much deeper messages to both children and to the children within the adults who are reading it.  Remember who you are is the theme of this timelessly beautiful story...sure to be an instant classic with adults and children alike.  GENRE: CHILDRENS FICTION
