Howard’s Mood Music Video (soon...)
Current mood: awake
Dear friends,
Coming Soon has spent the last 3 days shooting a music video for their new single Howard's Mood. Fred Mortagne, our top director, had a long long night to capture a continuous 4.38 minutes shot and, damn ! he did well !
We also went throught this DIY thing by sleeping on the set 'cause it wasn't safe at all. Here's the picture of what it looked like before we started building.
And yeah, our hearts felt warm during this adventure to see all this love & passion, all this help, all this time and willingness, all these ideas floating among us. You've been amazing and we'll try our best to make you proud in return.
It made us realize we would not exist without your love and support.
Like Bob Dylan says, you know, "I'm dreaming of you, that's all I do"...
Anyways, editing should be quick, you'll see, soon !

Comme dit Bob Dylan, "I'm dreaming of you, that's all I do"

Are you growing up in a small town ?
Current mood: overstimulated
SMALL TOWN (Lou Reed/John Cale) - dedicated to Andy Warhol -
When you're growing up in a small town when you're growing up in a small town when you're growing up in a small town you say, no one famous ever came from here
When you're growing up in a small town and you're having a nervous breakdown and you think that you'll never escape it yourself or the place that you live
Where did Picasso come from there's no Michelangelo coming from Pittsburgh if art is the tip of the iceberg I'm the part sinking below
When you're growing up in a small town bad skin, bad eyes, gay and fatty people look at you funny when you're in a small town
My father worked in construction it's not something for which I'm suited oh, what is something for which you are suited getting out of here
I hate being odd in a small town if they stare let them stare in New York City as this pink eyed painting albino how far can my fantasy go ?
I'm no Dali coming from Pittsburgh no adorable lisping Capote my hero, oh, do you think I could meet him I'd camp out at his front door
There is only one good thing about small town there is only one good use for a small town there is only one good thing about small town you know that you want to get out
When you're growing up in a small town you know you'll grow down in a small town there is only one good use for a small town
I started writing songs on my own, under the name Bear Creek, a few years back. I recorded some of them with my friends Kimya Dawson & Angelo Spencer, along with several members of Coming Soon, two years ago: the record was called Antsy Pants & was originally released by Plan-It-X. Recording has been a whole lot of fun, trust me !
Vampire, one of the song I wrote for this album is part of the new Jason Reitman's movie soundtrack (wich also includes a lot of Moldy Peaches & Kimya's songs) ; The movie will be out in France on February 6th. I've heard you fellow Americans have loved it !

PS: NEW GRIDS, COMING SOON's first album, will be released on Monday ! Don't forget it !
Hey ! Ici Leo Bear Creek !
