Free books...

Something very scandalous happened to me today, and I'm too tragically lazy to deal with it in the proper way, so you get free books. Here's the deal. Amazon sent me a double shipment of the last books I ordered. I wasn't here to refuse the shipment and I would have to take it all the way to another town, blah,blah, blah, so I figured I'd just have a contest instead. I know, I'm cool like that.

What was your best Christmas gift?
Current mood: melancholy

I got lots of fun stuff this year but my favorite gift was given to me by my four-year-old. He had bought it himself at preschool and waited nearly three weeks to give it to me. It is a gold bracelet with two heart charms on it. Just thinking about the look on his face when he watched me open it still almost makes me cry. :)

So how about you? What was your favorite gift this year and why?

And just because I think the day after Christmas is so depressing, I'm giving away two autographed copies of my book to random commenters.

Your homecoming...

For those of you who have read my book, REVENGE OF THE HOMECOMING QUEEN, you know that it's filled with all the fun of homecoming week plus a little mystery, romance, serious tiara drama, and lots of comedy. MY days of getting fancy and waiting nervously for my homecoming date to pick me up are LONG gone. So I thought it would be fun to live vicariously through some of you. What is your homecoming theme? What are you wearing to the dance? Are you going single or stag?
