Urgent casting notice - 5 male models needed for Virgin1 TV show
Five Male Models required for a new TV show that will be shown on the Virgin1 channel.
It is a one-off, survey-based show, which is going to look into why Brits have a bad rep in the bedroom and whether Europeans actually do have a more adventurous sex lives. It is going to be an intelligent but tongue-in-cheek type show, which should be great fun to be a part of!
As part of the show we are filming our presenter revealing the 'results' of our survey. To assist this, we are looking for five male models to stand in Speedo-type trunks (with different national flags embroidered on them). Providing a fun visual way of representing each nation.
So, we require 5 models who could look like they are from the following countries: Italy, Germany, Sweden, France and Britain.
Date: Friday 11th July 2008 Time: late afternoon Location: Central London
There is no pay, however travel expenses within London would be covered and its a chance to add a good TV credit to the CV.
Please apply now or email casting@leonikibbey.com

Casting notice for Apprentice Showcase at Theatre Royal Haymarket
Masterclass at the Theatre Royal Haymarket are currently casting for the following showcases:
La Mort: An exploration of the adaptation French romantic literature. Directed by John Rolph
Inspired by the new Boublil and Schönberg musical, Marguerite, Masterclass presents two exciting projects exploring the adaptation of French literature to be presented on the stage at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
Showcase 1: Mal d'Amour
Rehearsals: 21st - 25th July, 9am-5pm Performance: 25th July, 1pm
Taking scenes from the plays Les Liasons Dangereuses, La Dame Aux Camelias and Therese Raquin, (all adaptations of French novels) , this first project will explore representations of poisoned romance in French literature, following the characters as they fall foul of humanity's deadliest weakness; love.
Schowcase 2: Monsieur Venus
Rehearsals: 28th July – 1st August, 9am-5pm Performance: 1st August, 1pm
This second project is a brand new adaptation of Rachilde's controversial 1884 novel, Monsieur Venus. Banned when it was first written the novel was later defended as an important work of fiction. "What a wonderful masterpiece...It assures Rachilde a very particular place as an astute talent" Maurice Barrès ,1889. Rachilde's decadent heroine, Raoule seeks to transcend the limits of sensual experience in a liaison involving the sadomasochistic swapping of genders. Raoule enslaves and emasculates the poor artist Jaques embracing her role as the macho lover about to be betrayed...
This project will be a 45 minute workshop presentation of this exciting new script. I am looking for a company of actors who are prepared to work hard and collaboratively to help to realise this project.
To apply: please send a CV and headshot to:
info@masterclass.org.uk.
Please also state which project you are most interested in, and if you are interested in both. I do intend some cross casting between the two. This is an unpaid position but is an opportunity to invite agents, casting directors etc. to a West End showcase of your work. Auditions will be held on the 5th July at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.
