Soul Man, Paul Rodriguez, Mastercard and Danny Trejo...

Yesterday, we filled you in on Christina DeRosa's Sunday appearance on Everybody Hates Chris (8pm on the CW network). We wanted to let you know where else you can see Christina as well as some other Stupid Teenagers Must Die! cast in the very near future! Christina will play Naomi in the upcoming flick, The Grind, with Danny Trejo, Tom Sizemore and everyone's favorite soul man, C. Thomas Howell!

Renee Dorian (Madeline) has been working on some sketches over at Bluecollar.com and she did voice work for the Turok: Dinosaur Hunter movie. She's also in the upcoming flick, Vicious Circle, with Paul Rodriguez and Emily Rios and she'll play the lead in Road To Red!

And finally, look for Jamie Carson (Sissy) playing the flirty hot chick in an upcoming Mastercard "Priceless" commercial! Will she get by the bouncer? Here are some shots from the set...you decide for yourself:

Priceless, indeed! That's it for today! See you next time...

STMD! News FOR DAYS!

Lots of random bits of Stupid Teenagers Must Die! news today. First off, Dead Lantern.com has announced the nominees for their first annual Splatcademy Awards and we're very pleased to tell you that our own Lindsay Gareth has been nominated in the prestigious category: Best Achievement in Breasts. The competition is stiff (so to speak), too, as Lindsay has been nominated with Crystal Lowe (Wrong Turn 2: Dead End), Danielle Harris (Rob Zombie's Halloween), Ellen Ewusie (Pelts) and Danii Hamilton (Bloody Mary). You can download a ballot and vote for Lindsay at DeadLantern.com! The awards will be announced on February 25th, 2008!

Our friends at Film Apocalypse.com have named Stupid Teenagers Must Die! one of their five featured films during their "No-Budget Horror Comedy Month". What were the other four movies? Click over to Film Apocalypse.com and find out!

STMD! will be screening at Con Nooga in Chattanooga, Tennessee this month. The convention takes place February 22nd through the 24th. We're not sure when the flick will be screened so check out ConNooga.com for more information.

And finally, if you've seen Stupid Teenagers Must Die!, you know how sweet and innocent and naive and gullible Ashley Schneider's character, Julie, is. Well, Ashley's character in her next movie is FAR different than Julie! Check out the still from EXTREME MOVIE! And click the pic for more information on the DVD!

STMD! In The OC (Weekly)

There's a new full page story about Stupid Teenagers Must Die! in this week's issue of OC Weekly! Enjoy the wit and wisdom of director Jeff Smith, producer Sara Parrell and actor Jovan Meredith as they discuss the making of STMD!, the joys of shooting in Long Beach, not-so-subtly hint at the theme park where Jeff works, and reminisce about the first "movie" they ever made --- the movie that will never see the light of day.

Boy, we'd love to show you a scan of the story, but that's copyright infringement, kids! So if you want to see us in print, you've gotta find your way to Orange County this week. If a trip to Orange County isn't in your future, you can read the story by clicking the OC Weekly logo:

Thanks to Sarah from Fatally-Yours! You know what you did!
