Atticus Clothing and Virgin Megastore USA are proud to announce the first, in a series of in-store appearances, in coordination with the Van's Warped Tour. As I Lay Dying, Protest the Hero, Stick To Your Guns, and Jet Lag Gemini will be stopping by the Virgin Megastore (Arizona Mills - 5000 Arizona Mills Circle, Space 590 Tempe, AZ 85282) at 6pm on Tuesday June, 24 to give fans a chance to hang out before the Phoenix date of the Van's Warped tour the next day. Atticus will be on site giving out free clothing, and a few lucky winners will be getting passes for the Van's Warped Tour show the next day at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion.

The Edge 103.9 will be broadcasting live from the event and helping us give away a ton of prizes, so make sure you tune in into The Edge 103.9 leading up to the event.

To get in you must have a special wrist band which you can only acquired by purchasing a new Atticus Clothing t-shirt or one of the attending bands albums from the Virgin Megastore. You can get your wrist band the day of, or get it as early as June 17th, but remember there are a limited number of wristbands, so make sure to get yours early!

WINDS OF PLAGUE is currently one of the hottest bands in the genre as their debut CM offering, Decimate The Weak, stormed out of the gates with a vengeance. The group just completed the "Arthropodan Eroticism Tour" with Dead to Fall, Impending Doom and Belay My Last, leaving a trail of disaster throughout each city. The addition of Kristen Randall (keyboards) added another deadly element to their already devastating assault. 

Johnny (vocals) further describes his excitement over the tour: "When I first started getting into metal I would always anticipate the release of Hot Topic's Metal For The Masses compilation. Decimate The Weak retains the band's hardcore roots while the atmospheric sounds of Scandinavian black metal and classic American metal reign supreme. This stunning slab of brutality annihilates the listener with its razor sharp riffs and sheer intensity backed with a monsoon of angst and inner demons that is just waiting to be expelled on stage.

In 2008, WINDS OF PLAGUE pave their own path of destruction unlike anyone has yet witnessed.

Thats right! We want to talk to you! We feel that our connection with our fans is so important! If you haven't yet, add us on AIM(if you use it) the screenname is: "STYGOC" We're usually on everyday or every couple days. We also have a livejournal, which for those of you who don't know.. Its basically a blogging website. A blog is like a bulletin on myspace but everyone can see it FYI. We'll be blogging every couple days, about anything and everything, from tour updates, to being bored, or just to ask you what your favorite movie is. Century Media Records are extremely proud to announce the signing of STICK TO YOUR GUNS to its worldwide roster. The Southern-California based quintet have just completed work on their much-anticipated new full-length offering, Comes From The Heart, with acclaimed producer Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall), which is currently set for a spring 2008 release. The album is crushing with diversity, with something for everyone. It has everything you could possibly need, from giant melodic singing choruses, to intense fast beats with devastating guitar riffs.

Casey Lagos (drums) further comments: "We are so grateful for this opportunity to work with Century Media and be part of their historical roster. They have already showed us great love and integrity. Robert (owner) and Ray (A&R Rep) have actually come out to our shows years back just because they liked what we were doing. They actually care about the band, know our songs and what we're about, and we think that is really important. We're really excited for the future, and proud to be part of the family."

Jesse Barnett (vocals) states: "We just finished recording with Zeuss and it has been a dream of ours to work with him since we in our early teens. He is so awesome at what he does and we are so happy with how it turned out. It was just Casey and I who went to the studio, because we do all the writing/recording. We put a lot of work into it and have been writing it over the course of the last couple years. We are really excited for every to hear it."

Lagos states "We are taking the month of January off to recoup. We will hit the road in February headlining secondary markets, which leads us into a tour with our great friends in As Blood Runs Black throughout March and April. We also got some major summer touring plans in the works, in addition to dates in Australia and Europe, so stay tuned to www.myspace.com/styg for our complete touring itinerary."

The band recorded their debut album, For What It's Worth, in 2005 on This City Is Burning Records. Over the course of the next two years the band built its name through relentless touring, which led to Sumerian Records buying the rights to For What It's Worth and re-releasing the album to a new and expanded audience in 2007. The band continued their rigorous touring schedule to support the effort, further building their legions of diehard fans.

DEBUT ALBUM "FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH" IN STORES FEBURARY 20th W/ TWO NEW SONGS, DVD+MORE!

As some of you know we released For What It's Worth Earlier 06' but it really didn't get out anywhere due to our labels lack of distribution. The only people that had them were people who bought it online or when we came through there town touring. We have signed to re-release "For What It's Worth" on Sumerian Records, the CD/DVD will include Live footage from our DVD filming at Chain Reaction  in Anehiem, CA on December 30th(make sure to buy your ticket on ticket master quick, so your garaunteed to see your face in the DVD), two brand new songs that you have never heard, new artwork, and best of all LYRICS YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE :D

Stick To Your Guns-For What Its Worth, 2005

Lyrics Explanations:

1.for what its worth- this song was written mostly about our scene and the way we just take from eachother and hurt eachother and the way we just go to shows to “mosh” or what have you and not there’s anything wrong with that but there’s so much more to shows than just mashing or buying merch or hitting on girls or guys, it’s supposed to be a place for us to go when you are having family problems relationship problems or any kind of problems it’s a place where you can go let your worries go and be with all of your friends and be away from drugs and away from violence and just get away from the world and hang out with friends and sing along and have a good time.

2. A poor mans poor sport ( 2 heads are better than 1)
This song deals with the way women are treated the way they are spit on in society. This song deals with the way they are looked at in society through pornography through T.V. through magazines the way that they are made is to be looked at as an object. It also deals with the girls in our scene how guys call hardcore and straight edge a mans sport and how its not meant for a girl which is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. All women are just as capable as men so speak up ladies you are all strong beautiful.

3.colorblind
I’m pretty sure the lyrics in this song speak for themselves but this song is about racism and how it has always been a problem in this country and it still is regardless of what people think. People think that because slavery is over that racism is over which would be a foolish thing to think. Its something that is eating away at our society its something that we will always be dealing with until we can all see no matter what race no matter what creed no matter what gender gay straight black white Christian atheist we are all here and we should respect one another for our differences. One people one love one world

4.compassion without compromise
Ill keep this one short basically this song is about showing everyone compassion and love even if what they believe is opposite to what you believe and never compromising your beliefs at the sake of someone else.

5. For the kids by the kids
This song goes out to the kids who love hardcore and who love our scene and who want to add something good and pure to it. Every good-hearted pure minded kid is another solid brick to our foundation. For every kid who believes in hardcore and believes that it is a positive thing and for every kid who would do anything for it. This is for the kids who are at almost every show to the kids who support there local hardcore and for the kids who get made fun of because they love hardcore so much that they would go as far as to have there mom drop them off in front of the venue in the minivan we were all at that point one time. This song is for you




6.a badge a brand
This song is simply about kids who turn there backs on what they believe and then turn there backs on there family friends and so on. This song is also about no matter what you believe its not about wearing the shirt or Xing up the hands or what have you its about wearing in your heart and being true to yourself and never giving up on those you love.


7. This is more
This song is about all of us kids and how we need to all just be friends and get along. Who cares about what you look like or how you dress or whatever we find to fight about when it comes down to it we are all at the same show singing along to the same lyrics and pumped to see the same bands. We need to just let go of our petty drama and just be a family. We will be victorious.


8.fire with fire.
This song deals with violence and how it is every where and so much of it is everywhere, on television in magazines in toy stores in comic book stores, that its like we are trying to justify it when in fact there is no justifying hurting another individual. Fighting fire with fire does nothing except dig us into deeper holes.

9.our demise
This song is about war and how there are so many better ways of dealing with things instead of just fighting our problems out. Its seem to me that these innocent people are being puppets for the puppet master who makes his puppets kill others and watches his puppets die while sitting and watching from the white house.
