Pre-order your "Rebel In You" single with new b-side!
Category: Music
As EMI foolishly passed on releasing the Rebel In You single, in YOUR best interest, Supergrass have decided to go ahead and release it themselves. The Rebel In You single with the unheard b-side Car Crash will be released June 30 on Supergrass Records in a limited run of just 1500 7" singles. The 7" will be a sharp, white coloured vinyl. The best part about this is that the stamp on the envelope in which you receive your single may be licked directly by a Supergrass member, packed with DNA, enabling you the customer to head down to your neighbourhood scientist and clone your own band member.*
But if you can't afford all that, at least a smashing new song in Car Crash awaits you! Check out the sample on the MySpace player to whet your appetite. Click the image below to head over to the pre-order page!
Cheers Supergrass MySpace Team
*Cloning costs must be borne by the customer. Cloning costs are not covered by your purchase of this single.

Supergrass to partake in special event for Crisis this Monday!
Supergrass, Reverend and the Makers, Babyshambles and New Young Pony Club to get Rough for Crisis this Monday
To celebrate the launch of 'Consequences', the much revered new collaborative track for homelessness charity Crisis, a number of the featured artists will be taking part in a record signing with a twist this Monday (28th April) at Rough Trade East at 7pm.
Based on the parlour game 'consequences' (draw a head, fold it over, pass it on etc), each artist added their musical contribution without knowing what had gone before. The track was built, layer upon layer – with drummers kicking off the process, followed by bassists, synths, guitarists, and finally, vocalists. Think Phil Spector's Wall of Sound.
At the signing on Monday, Pearl Lowe, the Crisis ambassador, will be joined by members of Supergrass, Reverend and the Makers, Babyshambles and New Young Pony Club, who will also be on hand to play the game Consequences – adding their own artistic contributions for fans to take away.
The track, described as 'the hottest record in the world right now' by Zane Lowe, will be in store from Monday and also features Beth Ditto, The Enemy, Paul Weller, Graham Coxon, Andy Rourke (the Smiths) and Ed Harcourt. And with its unusual recording process, top producer Paul Epworth worked with them to create something credible from the chaos.
Signing – 7pm Monday 28th Rough Trade East Dray Walk, Old Truman Brewery 91 Brick Lane London E1 6QL

Diamond Hoo Ha Men will be performing live on the night, plus we’ll have the world premiere screening of the Glange Fever rockumentary, as well as burlesque acts, krautrock DJs and a few special guests (not just Chas Harrison).
In honour of Berlin’s Hansa studios where the album was recorded, the party will take a German theme so fancy dress is encouraged!

The ’Bad Blood’ single was released on Monday, and if you’ve seen the miserable state of the UK charts you might be wondering what you can do to help.
You can do your bit to inject some integrity back into the charts by buying the Bad Blood single. Not only will you be sticking it to the man, but you’ll also be helping to educate the less fortunate kids who are yet to make the groundbreaking discovery of Supergrass. Help change a life. YOU can make a difference. And plus, you’ll get to hear the Diamond Hoo Ha Men version of Beat it! Yee-haw!
