why? well ill tell you why… cus we go first. and if you are on our blog chances are you care about seeing us perform. if that is the case get there on time, just like if you wanted to see Lupe on the Glow in the Dark joint you had to show up on time, this is like that on a smaller scale. yes its hip hop, yes start times are subject to change a bit but regardless we are kicking off the show in each city so you need to have your asses there on time to see it all… dont be showin up at the merch booth on that 'what time you go on' chances are if you are at a venue talkin to us and somebody else is performing you missed the show. also if you are at the merch booth it would behoove you to support the home team. we got the goods, shirts, buttons, cds, paper toys, mixtapes, stickers… nigga we got merch!

yeah, "lessondary nose" is the name of the joint and its peezy, e gutta, airtight grizzy, and spec bougie. aka (2dope did a wayyy better job at the picture than i did haha) http://sharebee.com/c2ed2ffb
this song is in promotion of the show we have coming up THIS MONDAY
and also just in promotion of how dope we can be. haha... so once again, please download it, check it out, and if you like it or know anyone that likes us, please pass it around. thank you!
what I mean is…lets say you come to a tanya morgan show. what song do you expect to hear? I know we don't have a huge following yet (yet mufucka yet! (c) radio pea) but still, what joint would you say "oh they have to do that, that's the main song!"
cause see I think its "we be" but I think ilyas thinks its "walk my way" and I don't know what joint don thinks, but we act like its "and you say"
when fans usually compliment us its "I love the mixtape" or "the ep is crazy!" or "moonlighting was my shit!" but there's never really a specific song. in chicago it was "yall better do cuddle bums!" in pittsburgh "where's waiting for you/sitting at the bar?" in denver "do pretty!" and in virginia I think some dudes wanted to hear…we bad or something.
but ok the question isn't what's your fave as much as it is what do you think our main song is. pretend we're kweli and hi tek…what's our "the blast"?
p.s. if you feel we don't have a main song say that too. and name your fave anyway.

way back in 05 when TM got their slot in XXL's show and prove section we came to nyc for the photoshoot and slid thru the magazine's offices to meet the staff and figure out how it was all gonna go down. the homie scott (aka mr suburban sprawl cover artist :) introduced us to king's EIC datwon and when we walked into his office he was coincidentally bumping the sunset ep and couldnt stop talkin about how fresh it was. i still remember that shit like yesterday for real. when a tastemaker says they like your work, you dont forget that shit, ever.
fast forward to a feb 2008 and now in addition to his post at King he has assumed the same role at XXL... HUGE! and even crazier is this quote from a press release that came across my email.
Thomas, 32, told Journal-isms on Thursday one of his priorities would be to connect the magazine more to music on the Internet, since that is where more of his readers are finding it. "You can give them a basis for choosing what is quality," he said. "There's so much going on in hip-hop that isn't being reported," he said, mentioning such artists as Tanya Morgan.

we major!?! come on homie we major....
no but seriously, im not gonna speculate on what that means for the future but i will definitely do my part to ensure that XXL has some great music and an exciting campaign to cover if they so choose to. the fact that datwon has remained accessible, true to form and still remembers who we are is very humbling.
good looks datwon and congrats on the new gig fam. hard work just gets you more work and a bigger pay off at the end of the day and we all got alot of work to do in 08.
