REISSUES and NEW ALBUM

Hej,

Our first two albums; Opera and Milieu have been out of print
for a while now, but will in March be re-relased with new packaging and
3 (Opera) and 4 (Milieu) extra tracks made at the original sessions.

We have just finished the work on our new album, Luminarium. It will be out in april. Everything recorded at our own Summa studio in Stockholm. More news soon.

It features the members of Tape a.o and was recorded in Stockholm and Cologne

TAPE / MINAMO - BIRDS OF A FEATHER

A collaborational recording between Tape and japanese quartet Minamo
has just been released on HEADZ. The record is called Birds of a feather and were
recorded in Tokyo in april 2006 and then later mixed here in Stockholm.

Spring update

hello friends,

Spring is here - or soon at least here in cold STHLM.
We´ve done our only show this half-year at the Häpna event in Botkyrka Konsthall outside STHLM. Great audience of 300+ people, dead silent.
We were
accompanied by Ass and Lars Skoglund on percussion and Ass on trumpet and Ueno on clarinet. We had the pleasure of having Tenniscoats back here on a short visit before they went to Scotland and all of us + the above mentioned played during their set.
We´re right now finishing overdubs for the new Tenniscoats record that will be out on Häpna in sept. This is done in our own small studio which is now finally more or less ready to use. Still waiting for some equipment to be installed..

As posted we will do a Japan tour with Tenniscoats in sept. Hopefully there will be shows in places we haven´t been to on the two previous tours there.
We´re looking fwd. There will also be at least one show with Minamo (the great Tokyo quartet, friends of ours since 2002 or so putting out the Operette remix album on their label..) supporting our upcoming collaborative release on HEADZ. This was recorded in Tokyo april 06, with overdubs and mixing done here in STHLM.

In early summer our two first albums will be re-released on Häpna; new packaging
and 3 extra tracks (from the same sessions) on each cd. They both have been out of print for a while, Milieu for two years, so it´ll be nice.

Tour start and date change!

First concert in Norrköping, Sweden done. Went very well.
First ever Ass gig, and T.C did a great set with help from Tomas (Tape) and Andreas (Ass).
New date in Malmö - sun. 8th of oct at Metro, Möllevången at 19.30.

The two nights at Ugglan will be programmed like this:
3/10 Ass + Tenniscoats
4/10 Tape + Tenniscoats

Tape, Tenniscoats and Ass tour of Europe in oct.

We´re right now planning a tour of Europe oct. with our japanese friends Tenniscoats. Andreas Söderström´s one man act Ass will join us too.
