Untitled

I sit and stare

Stare at this wall.

Draw my legs to my chest

Take a deep breath.

Bury chin and cheek on my knee

Close my eyes

Hands grasp

Cold feet

Seek warmth.

Imagine

Safe

Comfort

Almost believe.

Open up my eyes

But all I see

Is this wall-

And the water mark has grown.

Glass Dreams

Glass Dreams

Ive seen you once before tonight
In iridescent glass limelight
Reflecting off the mirrors shine
It was your eyes I saw not mine
A shrilling scream from deep inside
Shattered the pieces of you in mind
Darkness scattered the last shard of light

To week, to late
I lost the fight

Storm already manifesting inside
Emotion scratching, slashing
Leaving skin scared of lies
Sharp shattered fragments
Buried glass deep to hide
Grey took on black
Eyes blinded, rain cried
Drowning my thoughts
That night dreams died

Well time has changed
High tide waves full of rage, washed away
Ironically, the twisted path remains
Curving slightly right, unscathed
This time
I will find my way.

Sense the presence of my creeping
Tiptoe all around you sleeping
Tired of tripping on this scene
Can I fall inside your dream?
Falling, falling
Breathe with me, taste the need
Falling, falling
Inhale me deep
Inside you
Dream

Feel the energy of my stare
Crawl up inside you
Lying there
Breathe me in
I want to feel
See within
Make it real
Help me place
The pieces right
Reflect once more
The warmth, the light
While you sleep
I will look tonight

Sense the presence of my creeping
Tiptoe all around you sleeping
Tired of tripping on this scene
Can I fall inside your dream?
Falling, falling
Breathe with me, taste the need
Falling, falling
Inhale me deep
Inside you
Dream

Immune
Current mood: disappointed

Immune

You Carry your hurt
Spreading fear… plague of pain
No room for emotion
Numbness creeping… seeps through your vein
Drowning all hope
Killing faith... Dead pride
Buried is your soul
You have already died
Seen have these eyes
What now lies deep inside
Too many lies
Disgust… you're despised
Never again trust
You're week… you're shallow
No, no love for you here
For you my heart's hollow

So Much Pain (intro)
Current mood: melancholy

So Much Pain (intro)

My father gave me a journal when I was just a little girl, he said it was magical. He told me "You can do anything you want with this, just open it up and write your thoughts in it, maybe even draw in it, press dried flowers or leaves upon the pages of it and later, if you don't like what you've put into it, then simply rip them out and make paper airplanes out of them- just don't set them on fire, please".
I began my first journal when I was 11, and wrote my first poem at 13. Writing quickly became my scapegoat and my journal was, well... the "magic" portal. 19 yrs later I still have all of them. They've been with me through the mill and back (quite literally). Although they have become quite cumbersome, (containing so much pain), my "magical" books still hold their binds somehow and help to keep me sane.

"MY SOLOTUDE"

Can you hear me screaming?
Deep shatter, scatters my soul.
The rain is pouring harder, now-
I feel so cold... alone.
Tired- running from fear,
Haunting shadows grasp my heels.
Close my eyes, wish it away--
Scared...I might never escape.
Can you feel my grasp?
Small, delicate hands... don't mean to attack.
Warmth I seek in you-
Illusion- your light will go out... I know.
Darkness waits in silence-
Awaits my solitude
