The Gathering - 2008

Dear Friends of the Circle,

We are excited to announce the annual Gathering for the Circle this year in Nashville Tennessee. Last year a group of about 40 fans took it upon themselves to meet in June to discuss all things Circle and Dekker and dubbed the meeting, The Gathering, after the celebrations in The Circle Trilogy. Although Ted wasn’t able to attend, he immediately committed to participating in the 2008 Gathering, should it materialize.

Well, it has, and with bells and whistles. The Gathering this year is full day event which will allow a maximum of 200 members of the Circle a very unique and interesting look behind the scenes of Ted’s writing career and Christian entertainment. It will include panel discussions and Q&A sessions with him, some of his published writing friends, Thomas Nelson Publisher and editors, the Movies, the graphic novels, and some special previews that will not be available to the public.

Ever wanted to ask Ted where he gets his twisted ideas? This is your chance. Ever wanted to know how one goes about getting published in today’s competitive environment? This is your chance to ask. Ever wandered why some struggle to get a footing in the industry and others seem to connect? This is your chance to ask.

And trust us, Ted has some unique opinions on all of this. This is definitely an ideal opportunity for writers as well as fans.



Here are the particulars of the Gathering 2008.

DATE: June 7, 2008 (9AM — 6PM)

LOCATION: The Grove (274 Mallory Station Rd, Franklin, TN 37067)

COST: $50 with space being limited to 200 people.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

* Q & A and panel discussions with Ted Dekker, Allen Arnold of Thomas Nelson, and other invited guests and authors.

* Meet & Greet and book signing

* Receive an advanced copy of SINNER

* Exclusive showing of House, the movie, 4 months before it hits theaters.

* Presentations on Graphic Novels and other aspects of Christian entertainment.

* Chance to hang out with other Dekker heads.



There you have it. Remember, we only have 200 spaces and roughly half are already spoken for so contact us immediately to reserve your spot. Special arrangements for housing are in process (Starting at $73.00 a night.)
