pics from comic-con finally!!!!!!

when we arrived after being up flying all night i found out that Amy Brown was signing (she is the artisit that the tattoo on my back is based on)

i was soooooooo nervous meeting her. i closed my eyes in the pic with her but i was to shy to ask for another one......

just as great was meeting Thomas who sculpted all of Amy's fairies. he took a real liking to me. i loved his german accent, big industrial boots and utility kilt....we both closed our eyes in the photo

the next order of business was to head down to the SLG (slave labour graphics) booth the home of my fav comic book artists/writers. i meet so many amazing people here. Serena(gloom cookie/ nightmares & fairytales) was so nice we had a nice little chat, i told her about my quilts she would like me to send her my website when it is up. Tommy Kovac was great i told him how his comic autumn inspired autumn boo's name. he too has had tarantula's as pets. this i s a pic of him signing a few comics for me. he also told me about his new alice in wonderland themed comic coming out soon......

the highlight of being at the SLG booth was of course meeting Roman Dirge. he took pictures of my tat and he was very friendly i got him to sign my wittle fairy princess comic......


i had a pic of him with the tat but the flash didn't go so it is all blurred SAD:[ next it was off to meet the artist behind my very fresh tattoo gris grimly. he was super nice i got two of his books signed and a very nice photo. i showed him the tat but he seemed sleepy (rue morgue party the night before)


in general the comic-con was amazing. it is so big it took us three days to get from one end to the other. i also picked up a lot of neat comics from independant artists which i love. i would highly recommend it to any fellow geeks out there. being with when he Lance meet Lance Henrikson was wonderful, i have never seen him so nervous. the whole trip was so worth it for me to meet the artists that inspired me enough by their artwork to forever have it on me.....

~~circe boo~~ ***she has a name***

this is the other spider living at our place. she is lance's and since he is still away with army she does not have a name yet. hopefully he will give her one when he comes home on sat. {{lance came home with a name circe boo, a praying mantis he found at the army base and a big critter keeper full of crickets}}

look at how fucking long her legs are!!!!!

she is very posionous--you can get real sick if she bites you but she is soooooooooo beautiful!!!!
