wow,

ok, well I have been in training for quite a long time, which is one of the many reason i have not posted pictures.  But I have gone ot Ireland twice since I last updated.

I took some actual serious pictures the other day in Belfast.  This one may be a little odd as far as a photograph is concerned, but the focus isjust right (right on the eyes) and the hair melded with the backgroud perfectly, and shades are very nice.  The focus isn't as sharp once i loaded it on to photo bucket, but the real image is sharper.

I know i haven't posted in a while, and after this it may be a long while again.

My take on things

Relationships don't work the way they do in Television and in the movies

Will they?

Won't they?

Then they finally do and they're finally happy forever, give me a break.

Nine out of ten of them end because they weren't right for each other to begin with and half the one's that get married get divorced anyway.

And I am telling you right now through all this stuff I have not become a cynic, I haven't.

Yes, I do happen to believe that love is mainly about pushing Chocolate covered candies....... and you know in some cultures a chicken.

You can call me a sucker; I don't care, 'cause I do… believe in it,

Bottom line, couples who are truly right for each other wade through the same crap as everybody else, but the big the difference is they don't let it take them down.

One of those two people will stand up and fight for that relationship every time, if it's right, and they're real lucky......

One of them will say something.

St. Louis.  I don't know why the hell my pictures have been coming out so small. If i figure it out, I'll fix them.

Also I wrote a letter to my favorite Rock Photographer, Ross Halfin, last night.  If I get a response, I'll let you guys know.  I am sure you have seen his work even if you don't know it, I think you should look him up.

I guess I finally have reached the point where I am willing to face the fact that I miss you so mcuh Grandpa, it's been 3 months, but today it hurts just as much as it did when I heard your voice for the last time and I was lucky enough to say good bye and I love you.  While it hardests thing I have ever had to do in my life, I would do it again, just to hear you say, "I love you so much Kyle, I pray for you everyday, good luck in the army, and be safe." one more time.

I wear your dog tags around my neck, I carry you with me, I think about you every day, every time I have a glass of Chardony.  I think about the last time we talked face to face, I think about our last Christmas together, I think about going to church with you, I think about going to brunch with you, I can't stop thinking about what an amazing person you were.  Your kind words, you unending generocity, and your unending love for everyone.  You lived through your grandchildren.  I hope I made you proud, I hope I make you proud.  I hope that even my my best isn't good enough for everyone else, you are still proud of me.

9 of my photos have been advanced to the national level of a competition.  I am exctied.  Here are a few of them

the other 4 were my movemnet one from penn station, a picture from stone henge, and the picture of my E4 sandhurst team, and my picture of the town sqaure in Venice.  I think I have posted all of these before.

Keeping my fingers crossed that these go on to win in their respective categories.

I have done nothing but think the last few weeks, and I have come to think that in the end people never change, like these roman ruins, people are set in their ways, as many times as they say something or say that they are changing, underneath they are the same.

On a more positive note, I need help picking out pictures for a yearly photo contest, please let me know if you think anything that I have done this past year you think would measure up in a national contest.  Thanks, in advance/
