Custom T-Shirt design anyone?

Recently had the idea to do custom T-Shirt designs for stag/hen dos and/or b'day parties.

Got this idea when I girl on Myspace (known to Myspacers as: " Bexy_Beatdown™[PD][AS][VIP][ÐF] ") added me as a friend as she liked my artwork then posted a bulletin asking if anyone was good at drawing cartoons/comics as she wanted a T-Shirt doing of her. I vollenteered and it seems she'll be wearing it on local news (she lives in in Southend On Sea ...somewhere I lived many many MANY years ago).

Below are sketch and designs for the t-shirt.

I have also have set up a t-shit, mugs and accessories shop here which is a bit of a random mess at the moment but hope to put up more stuff plus take requests soon.

No money, No job and soon... no home :o(

I recall starting this blog so people could follow my career plans and see how I get to where I wanna be and to maybe help other in the same boat.

Well.. striving for a difficult career has it's hard times too!

I lost a temp job a few weeks back and I now have no money, no sign of work and to make it worse I have to leave my current home as the two ladies who rent this house off the landlord, and whom I pay money towards living here, are moving on and there's no way I can afford the rent of a whole house.

The situation gets more and more hopeless everyday and I'm loosing hope and enthusiasm and motivation to carry on.

Why all these horrible things have suddenly happened to me I don't know but this is the worst my life has ever been since moving to Brum.

I've hardly drawn although I have emailed a few graphic design companies with a link to my site but the most I have got from that was that two companies have me on file should my kinda work be needed.

I should of found a permanent job somewhere years ago so I could be in a better financial position now...  my idea was that a "temp job" was only temporary until my illustration work took off... except I didn't realise how much of my time and energy would be taken by the "day job".

I'm still in fairly high spirits though, whih surprises me as many years ago I would of just been too depressed to move, but it does still hit me that I am in this situation with no hope of anything getting better no matter how hard I try to make it. It feels like an ultimate evil is pushing down on me and making everything worse...

I've gotten to the point of everything making me tired all the time and I keep sleeping in as I feel too tired to wake up when my alarms go off.

I am really lost right now... just as a tiny glimmer of hope shines through... it's like something blacks it out.

Someone once told me "The Universe only gives you what you need. All you need to is ask for it." ... ihave been asking for it... asking for help.. for something to happen or something to appear that I could use to make myself and my life better.

...but, like when I prayed as a little boy to God when I was younger asking for the bullying to stop, I get no answer... and like back then things only get worse

The Hopeless ONE!

P.S. I forgot to mention my bike is also broken.. which means traveling anywhere is costing me money. ...plus is taking away my exercise and daily kicks of riding fast down a road or pushing myself hard to make it up a hill.

Couple-o-skizzens

Here we go... a couple of scribbles from recently.

First was a quick life drawing session in Birmingham City Centre while munching a sandwich.
I usually try and capture someohne quickly in my head and sketch what I have on them in my memory... but I'm out of practice and the people of Brum were walking to fast... so I only managed a few nearby pigeons and a random womns head.



Next is the Midlands Comics Collective meeting in the Briar Rose.

No-one I know.. just random faces in the pub.



That's it for now...

Not much time for sketching as I still have no day job, no money and I'll be on the street in a months time as the people I live with who rent this house from the landlord are moving away "suddenly" and as I have no money to take over the rent of a whole house and no job to get me into another shared house I'm in a massive panic of what's t be done next!

MikeyB and the last Skizzens

Indeed these are the last Skizzens at my temp job as I had a call from the agency on monday morning saying that Floors2Go had suddenly decided to end their call centre project. So since Monday I've been jobless... and these days it's hard to find work... 

So see below my recent (and overdue to be posted) Skizzens...

Hope you enjoyed... I shall be uploading artwork to my blog as usual but at the moment I have work to find.

Almost had a commission to do an album cover... but that fell through. But there's a possibility of other album artwork in the future ...and just in case there is I'm currently working on doing some album artwork of a few of my fave bands on Myspace.

This week: I’ve been mostly sketching...

Well... last week and this week actually...

I've started ANOTHER crappy temp job to pay the bills and this time it's at Floors2Go.

It's not the best job in the world and there's a constant threat of it ending by the end of the week each week... but it's money for now... and it's another job to hold me back from my comic book career. (oh... joy...)

But enough of the doom and gloom! During this job I'm on the phone calling people up to offer a discount code to take into stores to get 10% off when they shop. ...and during this call time I get chance to doodle on an A4 lined pad.

Below are the said doodles I mentioned. There's no reason or rhyme to them... although some are character designs for a personal project I'll be working on when things calm down in my life.

   

 

 

 

 

 

 I even did I sketch of myself suffering in the very job I mentioned earlier... oh the pain...

 

 

 

 

 If He-Man wasn't a gay icon already... I thought I'd add to it a little... hehe!

 Well I hope you enjoyed these little doodles.... it's helped me get some confidence in my artwork again after not drawing for weeks due to job hunting and money worries and being out of practice can churn out some horrible images whichs makes me scared to try again as I don't want to draw bad I want to draw good... a little artistic phsycology there for you

I'll no doubt add more as the weeks pass ..s warm me up ready to get on and finish unfinished projects I'd already started. ...oh and if Andy (Winter) reads this... I've not forgotten about the story about the sexbot and I will get it done ASAP ...but in and out of jobs and money troubles do distract from these kinda things.
