The player in this Blog will show the first 20. I will post the Spiderman 3 trailers that I have found. Also some of the recent videos added to my subscriptions that I have not seen yet. So many of these you will be seeing at the same time that I am seeing them for the first time. Really good ones will be added to my vlog or individual playlists. Unfortunately a history of streamed videos doesn't last forever. It hangs around for about a day. Spiderman 3 and recently added videos to my subscriptions are the theme for todays stream. I'm seeing many of these for the first time today too. I will make playlists of stream groups for those of you who may miss streams for future viewing. The playlist page may take a while to show up since I just created it.

About chat:
Though I have put up chat boxes and given links to chat boxes, I am not a chatter really. I understand that many people do. There will be times that people who are not on my friends list might like to get in touch with me and on those occasions, I might make exceptions. But all in all the Chat boxes many times are there for the convenience of those who like it. To me it's sorta like a pop quiz and people ask questions that I either have answered a hundred times or else have really long answers. If I am online in a room with chat box usually I am there because I am working on something else.
About The Chat box in the Video Stream room:
Though there is a chat box there, and it may appear that I am there, chances are I won't see your messages.
Why Not?
The videos stay in the stream room for a while and the previously viewed videos slowly leave the list. Someone has to load the videos into the stream. In this case it's me until I appoint some administrators or moderators who can also load up videos. Streams can be made where anyone can load videos by choice of the streams creator. Anyway...
When I decide to load the videos into the stream, I log in make a quick list from my playlists or subscribed to videos and load the quick list. As those videos are played from the list they are added to the stream list at the top of the page. As the videos go through the list I may not be watching all the videos. I open a multitabbed browser or separate window and continue to work on other things. I may be listening to streaming music, but, not watching, and I can't see the chat boxes' hellos. When certain videos come up that I want to see then or on breaks in between other things I will switch over to the video stream page. So it's hit and miss if you want to catch me. Now actually you can open a separate window, put in a message and when I get back to the room I'd answer. But if you close the whole window and it says you have left the room, I won't answer. So checking back for an answer won't be there. If you really want to ask me something, just send me a message. Using the network mail. That works best for me and you if you really want a response. Depending on what I am working on or what's going on in my life I may not be in the mood to chat. I like to halfway know who I am talking to. It doesn't seem to bother lots of people, but it bugs me a bit if I have no clue at all who you are. And in a chat situation, if I navigate away to view your profile, well that is a big delay and chances are that the other person may be gone by the time I get back. The truth is that I did not build a stream to make friends. I built a stream to share a long list of videos and music which took quite a long time to find. It's easy to find a lot of videos on your own, but it can be time consuming. But, if you like my taste, then chances are that you might find the list enjoyable in a setting which is ad free.
Who's there?
Right now you won't find alot of people in the video stream, because this is only the second day that I've had one, and it's a new feature, so a lot of the people on the site don't even know it exists yet. There can be a maximum of 300 people at any one time, but the most I have seen at one time is 6 so far.
Sometimes it's active sometimes it's not:
When it's active it shows up on the active streams list on the "Test Tube" page at You Tube. There is no way to know in advance whether when you click the link from this blog entry whether or not it's a day that I plan to be streaming or not.
What's good about the chat feature?
As far as chat boxes go this is a very good set up. Many chat boxes shut off any music playing. Of course this being a chat box in a video room, they have already taken care of that problem. It works a lot like the way a chat box in a game room works with no conflict. I'm more impressed with the design than I am concerned with whether I personally can chat. At some point in time in the future when I upload videos which I have planned I could scheduled viewing times and make announcements when I will be available for Q&A. that's a future application, and I am keeping my options open.
About Functionality:
It is a good set up as I find that it is easy to run while using other programs and sites without conflict. There are a lot of applications and sites where I can't let the videos play and do edits on the other sites. I can even make the window smaller and keep it visible on my screen while I do other things. I have cable so I cannot say that this would be as true for those of you with dial up or other connection types.
At any rate it's easier to find my videos at any time by going to http://www.youtube.com/debraford123 And look under playlists, or my subscriptions and you will find all of the video links I have already decided to keep track of.

Note:
You might be required to have an account at youtube to go to the streaming Video Rooms. There are no ads in the Streaming Video rooms at this test stage of the new streaming video feature.
It is possible that I may add a few additional administrators who may be able to add videos to keep the streams full, in the future.
If at any point the streams are inactive you may start it again by clicking on a video choice.
Major news feeds added to my shared feeds

A correction: If you go directly to the shared feed pages listed all missed feeds will still be saved on following pages when you select See more of Debra's shared items ... The only time past feeds are removed would be in your private feed reader. In an rss or atom feed reader the number of feed and the length of time before feeds are replaced with new feeds must be set by each user.
When I get back to writing regularly, and not just building webpages the all my blog posts will show up in my shared feed. But, I don't expect too many personal post month/week so it will be mostly news right now, since, I'm kinda busy.
I added Major News Sources to my "Shared Blog Feeds" It ranges from space , ABC, BBC, space.com, Reuters, Google news, National Geographic, CNN, and others. It still has entries from Clipmarks, MYWeb 20, blogspot, Google Video, Live Video, LiveJournal, Flickr, Slide.com and my previously public blogged topics,and others and it has entries from my blogs, and some of my friend's blogs with some feeds from MySpace musicians and of course, links to Game demo Downloads
Swapping Audio Files on YouTube Videos

I tried out the new Audio swap feature at you tube and added pre-approved music to the video. If any of you are on the list for approved music swap list let me know and I will check you out. I have 6 flight videos that I will be adding and some art videos which will show up soon and I will put music backgrounds for those. If you are not on the list and want your music used on future videos or a games I'm working on let me know. Since I have basic videos equipment, you'll be making me look good, not the other way around. Or on a good week, I might surprise you all with some of my graphic skills that are fuzzy in my head right now.
If you didn't know you can have your music put in the background of other people's videos, you might want to look into it. It is a recently added feature since YouTube became a Google company. I don't have the specific details on what is necessary to have your music put on the list. What I do know is that once on the list, when users select edit videos, users can swap the entire audio file for any of the approved music selections listed. You can have your music played on thousands of videos and have people singing your songs all over the world.
Remove Viruses from your MySpace Pictures-Get your mail back

I'm going to add this as a blog post as soon as the server is available again so don't send anyone to my blog now just copy form the bulletin:
Viruses have been added to people's pictures that they have uploaded to myspace. It's not all the pictures and is not all accounts. But, if you have lost your control of your email account you want to do this for sure. I regained my email account this morning after getting a bulletin and following the instructions.
This may also be a means of entry to create other problems so you want will want to check this out and make a copy of it for future reference. Signs you might have problems is if you get one of those active x boxes show up for a few days and then goes away on it's own. I'm adding that because I remember that the person who I got the bulletin from had an active x box on her page some months back even though I had the updated software patches. And both we sent reports to myspace about the problems. Anyway below is a coy of the instructions:From the bulletin.
How to Remove Viruses from your MySpace Pictures and get your email back

Below are instructions to see if your profile has been hacked. When I did this I found 3 fake pictures attached to my profile. Then when I changed everything, they had already attached another.
So this is something you would need to closely monitor and watch on a regular basis.
Just follow these steps below to see if you have been hacked:
Subject: Removing the picture virus
Body: First to see if you have it:
- Go in to "Edit Profile"
- Select "Safe Edit Mode" (in the top right corner)
- Select "Images" (third tab)
- Look to see if you have any strange pics on the left hand side. The x's are okay...
- If you have a strange pic of a person or animal that is not you, count down from the top or up from the bottom to see what number of your pics is infected
- Go in to your main page and select "Add/Change pics"
- Find the matching number pic that the virus was on and delete it. (you will not see anything strange when you view your own pics, unless in safe mode) I also saved my pic to file before deleting it and changed the pic name.(NOTE: Do NOT Save the INFECTED Picture To File That is a mistake you would then be putting the picture with the virus attatched in your files and your temp storage on your computer and then you would be reuploading the virus yourself - note added by debraford123)
- Go back into safe mode and make sure all the strange pics are gone. Again, the x's are okay.
- Change your password!!!
- Upload the deleted pics again from your computer.
- Double check and make sure in safe mode that all is okay"
If all the pictures look like little boxes with red x's in them your pictures are fine and you don't have to worry.
You absolutely need to check from the to down. If you go to the last picture with a problem and delete it then the virus moves up to the one above it. I don't know why but it did.
After you get to the images tab in safe edit mode, open your home page in a separate window and go to your add/edit pictures section. You can leave the edit pictures section open at the same time as you have safe mode open. After you delete the infected pictures one by one refresh the safe edit page where you have the infected pictures. They should disappear upon refresh. If it's still there you deleted the wrong one.
Immediately change your password. Remember to write it down and keep it in a safe place until you have memorized it. Sure you are certain that you won't forget, but it happens. That's why all sites have that famous question "Forgot your password?"
Right after deleting 5 infected photos and changing my password I logged out and relogged in with the new password. It is important for you to log out right after. If, (and I'm pretty sure this is the case) the virus causes automated actions, and you do not log out then the bots that are sending automated commands are still active and can still do damage. So please log out and relogin with your new password before you do anything else.
It is important to get this message to your friends. If your friend have infected photos and put them as their default photos, depending on what commands are associated with the particular virus definition you could be vulnerable just having those pictures show up on your profile even if it is only in a comment.
It is recommended that you subscribe to this blog at http://blog.myspace.com/theclulesswonder because I will post solutions to problems as I find out they really do work. If you subscribe you can set the subscription in the blog page to NOT send mail messages with each and every blog entry, because that can be a big pain. Especially true if I am only editing previous entries for spellings, grammer etc. Or, if you have an rss feeder you can subscribe and you will get the titles and a short snippet of the first few lines, so you won't have to check topics that don't interest you.
Think twice about downloading pictures from other people's "pics" because there is no way to know which are infected with viruses in the myspace pictures. There were 5 infected pictures in my other account at http://www.myspace.com/debraford123 I have removed them and now I have access to my out going mail for the first time in months. It was active immediatedly after deleting the pictures and relogging in with my new password. The Bee Bridge account had no viruses in the pictures. If you know someone who says they can't send mail, if it is like mine they can recieve mail. Send them a copy of the instructions so that they can fix thier accounts. Be a friend. or just send them a link to this blog. or post a bulletin or copy this to your blog. be my guest. Do something.
Virtual villagers 2 - The Lost Children is now available

Virtual Villagers 2 TheLost Children
already, like the first day it got released. It is only available through the publishers right now and hasn't made it to the game outlets yet. I so happen to have made a point to get a game space there when I found out they were the publisher of the first version. That way I would get first notice. Ha!!

The graphics are even better. And the moms do stuff when they are caring for their children in this one. I thought it was just a little strange that mommies didn't do anything when they had babies in the first version. If you know, like I know, Moms with infants do more than anybody else. So there are many lttle changes that make the game even better than the first one which was also a 5 star game. Yes my official vote on this one is a 5 star across the board in every category you can think of.
