I’ll be playing bass with Martin Craft for the Sydney Festival

Martin Craft (M.Craft) will be in Australia for 2 shows at the Sydney Festival on January 24th and January 25th. In addition to this he will be playing the Northcote Social Club in Melbourne on Sunday 3rd February. I will be playing bass in Martin's band for these 3 shows...

ANOTHER NEW SONG! SITUATIONS!!!

Written and recorded at home on Wednesday 12th December 2007 Situations is another new song from the as yet unreleased second Daytime Frequency album. There are over 20 songs recorded at the moment with more to come. I'm whittling the album down to a tidy 10 songs so there will be plenty of leftovers for B Sides etc! Enjoy!

PS. This song is my homage to Melbourne legends Essendon Airport.

NEW YORK SHOW CANCELLED

Due to unforseen circumstances The Daytime Frequency will not be playing with The Mad Scene at Soundfix Records this Saturday 30th June. The rest of The Lovetones east coast tour of the US has also been cancelled. Apologies for any inconvenience. A new show with the Mad Scene will hopefully take place later this year in New York.

ANOTHER NEW SONG!!!

Well it's not exactly new to me as it was written and recorded sometime early last year, but it is one of the songs that will be included on the second Daytime Frequency album which is due to be recorded and released sometime this year. The song is about one of my favourite places to disappear and think - Lauriston Reservoir. Sadly due to Australia's continuing drought there isn't much water left in the reservoir. It's still beautiful nonetheless. Enjoy!

NEW SONG!!! NEW SONG!!! NEW SONG!!!

Demos for The Daytime Frequency's second album are nearing completion. The album is tentatively titled "The Sky's In Love With You". Splendid Ace has literaly just been completed this afternoon. It features my old friend the Korg Mono Poly, my voice and a glockenspiel. In true MySpace fashion the track has uploaded with a 5 second silence after the first beat. Thanks Tom (or Rupert). Hope you enjoy it nonetheless. The rest of the album tracks so far are:

SATURDAY 5TH GIG CANCELLED!!!!

This Saturday's gig at the Dan O'Connell with ColourFast has been cancelled as the owners of the venue have closed it down to renovate and reopen as a fucking sports bar. Great.
