The Eyeliners - December Arizona/California Dates

Hey everyone,

First off, we'd like to thank everyone who came out to the Albuquerque hometown show last Friday. It was an amazing show and you all brought so much food to donate to the homeless. It was incredible! You don't know how much that means to all of us - thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!! I know that there were several of you that got turned away since the Launchpad filled up so quickly - we apologize for that and wish you all could have gotten in to rock out with us!!!

We leave tomorrow for our California tour. It's going to be a good time and we can't wait to hit the road again. This might be our last tour for several months, so we hope to see you all there. For those of you that are going to the LA show at the Whisky, there will be an after party at the legendary Beauty Bar after our show. So hopefully you'll all be able to come hang out with us after the show as well.

We're also running a promotion for the Whisky show on December 8 and the Bottom Of The Hill show on December 14. Here's the deal. If you buy a ticket for the show in advance, you can come up to our merch table, show your ticket stub and get $5 off any Eyeliner's merchandise at our merch table! Good deal, right?!

We have updated our myspace site and put up a new song, which is our cover of When In Rome's "The Promise". "The Promise" is on our new album No Apologies!! If you haven't heard it yet, be sure to swing by and check it out.

The Eyeliners FREE show in Albuquerque December 2

Hey everyone,

This is just a quick reminder that we will be playing in Albuquerque, NM at the Launchpad on Friday, Dec 2. This will be the first show in our hometown in 2 YEARS!! Also, since we never got to have a record release show in Albuquerque because we were on tour, this will also double as a record release show for our latest album, NO APOLOGIES!!!  The best part about it, is the show is completely FREE!!!  All you need to do is bring in a canned food donation for the homeless and you will get in free!  I know some of you may already have tickets for the Saves The Day/Senses Fail show, but the cool thing is their show will end at 11:00 so you can still head over to The Launchpad and catch our show too!  So here are the deets:

If you haven't heard of this site, they are the biggest all punk rock radio station on the internet streaming 24 hours of punk rock, ska, and hardcore music. They also have a variety of Live DJ shows including the Interpunk sponsored Top 40 Countdown where they choose 40 different bands each week and let the fans vote to see who will be ranked.

ON TOUR WITH SOCIAL DISTORTION

Hey,

Just wanted to drop you a quick line from the road to give you a couple of updates. We have finally hit the road and are on tour right now with Social Distortion and Lost City Angels which has been amazing! This is our first tour in a year and half and we're stoked to be back out on the road. So far, the first two shows were sold out, so if you dont have your tickets yet for any upcoming shows, you might want to get them soon! Also, we are alternating between 1st and 2nd slot every night on the bill. We dont know which slot we will be playing until the day of the show, so please get there early!! If you had sent us a friend request within the last month and it didn't get approved, we apologize for that - it was an accident.  We had a glitch in our system which caused some Friend Requests to be denied.  Please feel free to re-send us another friend request.

ON TOUR WITH SOCIAL DISTORTION

So as many of you may have already heard, we will be touring with SOCIAL DISTORTION who have always been one of our all time favorite bands! We are so stoked on this tour and can't wait to be out on the road again. I can't believe it's been a year and a half since our last tour. Also on this tour will be our good friends Lost City Angels who rock! The tour will start on May 12 and end on June 8. This tour is going to be a blast! NO APOLOGIES - AVAILABLE APRIL 5

Hey everyone,

So yeah, I know it's been awhile and everyone is wondering what the hell has happened to us - rumors that we broke up, wondering if we were ever going to tour again, and it goes on and on. Well, we didn't break up - we just took a little time off. We just wanted to take a year off and write and record a new album. As many of you know, we spent several months in NY last year recording this album which was the coolest fuckin experience of my life, and the album will finally be out this year. The album will be called NO APOLOGIES and will be out on April 5. The record will start going to college radio around the 1st of March, so keep an ear out, and please call and request The Eyeliners on your local college radio stations.

Right now, there is one record release show scheduled, and there's a possibility a couple more may be added.

The first show will be:
THURSDAY, APRIL 7 @ Webster Hall (NEW YORK CITY, NY) This will be a show with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and The Vacancies. The Vacancies are the newest signing to the Blackheart Records Family. We will go on 2nd on this bill.

There is a possibility of a 2nd record release show in Los Angeles and a 3rd record release show in our hometown, but that is very tentative right now.


Alot of people have been asking what to expect from this album, and for the most part, we want you just to hear it for yourselves. It is a little different from past Eyeliners records as we wanted to evolve musically, but it still has the Eyeliners sound. Here's some other details...

**There will be 14 songs on the album

**Joan Jett sings on a couple of songs, and even plays guitar along side Gel on the song Destroy!

**There's a couple of covers on this album. We wont tell you which songs we covered - you need to hear that for yourselves. :)

**There's even a couple slower tunes on the album (don't worry...not TOO slow) - hell, Gel even plays piano on a song called Mea Culpa (in case you're wondering, that's Latin for "My Fault").

**Thommy Price played drums on some songs. On the song, Voice of Reason, Laura and Thommy even played two drum sets at the exact same time - Perfectly in unison. Fuckin insane. We got a little Fugazi on you with that one. hehe.

As it gets closer to April, we will send out another mailing list with all the details of the shows (times, price, other bands, etc). Anyway, we will start touring again soon, and as we get all the deets, we will let you know. We've missed you all very much and can't wait to see you on the road again soon!
