Hello all you long lost pals.

The Greatest of These have been diligently working on booking ourselves for the upcoming summer, and we are ecstatic to announce that it is finally coming to fruition. 

We are pleased to announce a few things.  First, The Paddy Wagon is scheduled to open for business Monday, June 16!  We couldn't be more excited about this.  This means a couple things.  One, Richmond will be fun again.  Two, GOT will have one of its favorite crowds/places to play back.  I'm sure most of you who read this feel the same way, but we have really missed the guys and girls there.  I toured the interior Sunday, and it looks unbelievable. 

Our second announcement is that we will be playing at the Paddy Wagon June 21!!  That is a week from this Saturday.  We really hope to see some old friends, and hope we can get a bunch of you fine folks to come out and see us as well.

Lastly, in case some of you haven't seen the schedule, we would like to formally announce our return to Champions Sports Bar and Grill!  It's been a LOOOOONG time since we got to rock that place out.  The (at-the-time) manager there was quoted in a paper saying that, when we played there and brought our crowd, it was "the most fun we have by far."  Since this is pretty much where we began playing music in Richmond, we are hoping we'll get some of our people out to hang out with us and spark some analgia.  Good lord we used to have fun there...

So, to sum up our schedule:

Brief History of The Greatest of These

The Greatest of these is an Alternative/Rock band that originated in Richmond, Ky in the Spring of 2003. We have been playing in local bars/pubs since then around central Kentucky (mostly Richmond). The original members were Todd Melton, Trent Garrison and Dustin Tennill. Later on that year, Kerry Adams and Byron Turner joined the group. We have gone through some changes since then and today our lineup consists of: Todd Melton, Trent Garrison, Steve Jones, Dustin Tennill, and Byron Turner. Come out and see us if you get a chance; we promise you will have a lot of fun! The Greatest of These (GOT) produced a 5-track CD in 2003 and a full-length CD in 2007. We have 14 songs on the new CD.
