Hej och tack till alla som tog sig till H-fred och WTAI, var ju kul som stryk!

I kväll ska vi lira på P&L i Borlänge och nog ska det bli kul må ni tro. Det är en mycket ovanlig dag för oss i bandet som bor kvar i norra västmanland då det, hör och häpna inte är mer än ca 70 km från min ytter dörr till trappen upp på scen - inte illa men fruktansvärt ovanligt! Därifrån tar vi lilla bussen till vårat andra hem - Arlanda international airport... En flygmaskin kommer därifrån ta oss till det vackra Kiruna. Vi kommer att lira där på fredag kväll och fy fan vilket drag det ska bli även där.

Ja, ja - snart dags att packa ica påsen och dra och hämta Arson så vi kommer iväg till Borlänge nån gång.

Oh so now what?

Oh Chris, how lovely. What kind of stuff?

- Shitloads, here I go:

So we're in Winnipeg, Canada. Earlier today me, Vigilante and our bodyguard/head of communications/long time friend an all around bad guy Mr. J. Tjelta went to see the 3D I max version of "The grand canyon" and what can we learn from that you might ask? Well, we really need to cut down on our water consumption damn it! The god damn planet is going dry, and fast too! I know you already knew that but anyways.

We've been through some funky ass cities on this here may U.S/Canada tour, places we've played in would be cities such as Atlanta, Nashville, Indianapolis, Milwuakee, Fargo and tonight as I already told you we're taking on Winnepeg.
In Indianapolis we were honoured enough to go and check out the qualification runs to the Indy 500 and while we were at we got ourselves our picture taken with Tony Kanaan too. Now it will be interresting to see what will happen on sunday when the race actually goes down.

I'm gonna continue my thing I've got going with "Guest writers who are involved with the lovely bunch known to you all as The Hives in one way or another" (from now on the official name of it). The time has now come to our dear friend and front of house engineer (he does our sound) Mr. (or sir, he's British) Dave Lamb ladies and gentlemen!

Hey guys,
this is my first ever blog so you'll have to forgive its lack of form or common sense :-)
As Chris has mentioned we've been adding to our list of places we've never been before. Nashville sticks out most in my mind, not because our merchandise guy Jesse is from there and drove some of us to CostCo, but because there's a cowboy boot shop on Broadway (the main drag), where if you buy one pair of flowery cowboy boots you get two pairs free :-), who the %€& wants six cowboy boots i don't even want one. but that's just me:-)
I digress, the show was great, as they all have been, i've been doing this job about 17 years and for some great bands, but these guys are the best.
Never a challenge or an injury too great :-)
And they make me laugh a lot which is good for anyones health.

We're back damn it! On tour damn it! In the Us of A damn it! In Atlanta damn it!

Centre Stage is ours tonight but we intend to share, with you people - yes that's right, with all a' yall.

Get your asses down here and we'll have a big ass party with yours truly cause we feel like tonight has to be special cause we just got back from the dead. Or to any of our fothcoming shows here in North America that we have planned on this here tour for that matter.

Oh my god, the end is near!

At least if we're talking about The Hives european spring tour 2008.

We've been in G, CZ, F, HU, AU, I, ESP, PT and in the U.K. Got back to F yesterday and we're finishing here in Paris tonight.

The tour has been nothing short of great and I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every single one of you that made it to one (or more) of our shows. Truly some next level shit!

We will now have three weeks or so off before we head back to the US of A and Can a da, to continue to spread our word - wich ever it might be.

Hold on to a friend when it's really windy outside, it usually helps. There's nothing we can do though unfortunally - It's over!

God damn Europe are’nt we having fun!

Our tours seem to get better each and every time we start a new one and this one ain’t no different what so ever.

Milan was great, Barcelona was great (the day off there were not bad either). And Madrid was kick ass as well! Tonight we’re playing our first club show ever in Lissabon and tonight will be special I think. The venue is an old theatre built in seventeenhundredandsomething and after having soundchecked it was clear that it is a very good sounding venue. There’s something about theatres that was built before the microphone was invented you know...

We’ve met alot of you people before and after the shows and it’s always a pleasure to get flowers and what not from our fans - thanks a million for everything. We try our very best to make you feel as good as you do after having witnessed our shows by being your favourite band so you’re also welcome.

Tomorrow we’re looking at a day off in Bilbau, hopefully the weather will be a bit better than it is here in Lissabon today, would be nice to sit outside by the water front and have a beer or something. The day after it’ll be Friday night and and The Hives will be looking outta sight, playing Die Alright and maybe a few more songs for the people of Bilbau - can’t wait.

Well if it ain’t the Dangerous Chris Dangerous behind the keys again!

Last nights show in Munich was the best one of the tour so far, I’m sorry all other cities but we just agreed on that. Sweat was dripping from the roof - literally! We were so fucking good that it almost scared me. So thanks alot to the entire audience for making it such a great night.

I’m gonna go have dinner now and then start to charge my batteries so that we can make tonights show here in Zurich even better than last nights.

Hope you Swiss people can keep up with us tonight cause we’re gonna be on FIRE!

Hey all!

This will be a bit of a different blog cause I want our friend Daniel from Fagersta to write a few words about how it is to be on the road with us. So here you go people: Mr. Daniel Haeggström.

First off, it..s an honour to sit next to Chris Dangerous and write a few lines in this bad ass blog. The Hives are professionals and they love to crack a joke. They travel the road as the true kings they are and everybody is invited to their kingdom. The Hives kick some serious fuckin..ass when they do their soundcheck. They just go up there and Dr Matt Destruction sounds like thunder and lightning. Sometimes they fool around with a heavy riff just for the fun of it and it..s killer. When they do interviews 10 out of 10 times the reporter gets intrigued on how they explain the rock and roll myth. I..ve seen it with my own very two eyes. For a week now. And it..s just getting better and better. If you are gonna see The Hives live now or in a near future, NOW is the time to see them. They are better than fuckin..ever. That..s a promise dear fans and prospects. Take care and watch Youtube clips of the shows so you don..t miss out on anything. You know, I won..t.

Hej på er alla glada dårar. -Hello my dear friends.

Ikväll ska vi slå Köln i spillror gott folk, Slash och Duff kommer inte ha en chans mot ett mycket form starkt Hives.
-Tonight we’re playing Cologne, Slash and Duff are in town and will have a chance to see their beloved Hives.

Nu ska vi lära alla jävlar lite riktig Svenska här på Minplats så ska vi se om folk kommer och säger roliga saker till oss sen.
-Now It’s time for you people to learn some Swedish here on Myspace so you can say stuff to us in our native language when you meet us.

Vi kommer att lira mer i Sverige i sommar än vi gjort på tio år tror jag, kul va?
-We’re gonna show the Swedish way of playing music to you tonight, fun yeah?

Jag tror inte alls att någon lyckats landa på månen än, en av de största bluffarna någonsin kanske.
-I love playing music just as much as an austronaut loves the idea of landing on the moon, maybe even more actually.

All Right, we’re on tour again - European tour!

You better get your lazy asses down to a rock club near you ASAP, we’ll be on fire - Will you be on fire too?

We are The Hives - just so you know.

We (The Hives) will be on fire every god damn night - will you be on fire every god damn night too?

I am Chris Dangerous, I play lead drums in a band called The Hives. Me and my guys will be on fire every night of this European tour - the question is: Will you be?

I love the word fire right now for some reason, and I’d like to be on fire - would you like to be on fire too?

So, we've played a bunch of shows the past week or so and they've all been priiitty damn great!
We didn't even have any problems going in and out of Canada this time. Usually it's a nightmare, having to get up in the middle of the night and then talk to people while they're holding one hand on their gun at all time - not cool.
The shows at the Riviera in Chicago, at the Newport music hall in Columbus, at the Agora theatre in Cleveland, at the kool Haus in Toronto, at the Metropolis in Montreal and at Williamsburg music hall in Brooklyn were all shows that will be very, very hard to forget.

We've had filmer dude Travis with us alot on this tour and the plan is to one day be able to put something cool together for you people to look at when missing us just gets too hard. I'm telling you: some next level shit have been captured by Travis!

We also had the opportunity to get on the roof of Rockefeller Center (again), that is such a privilige for us and the view over New York from up there is astonishing! Thanks Scott.

Tonight we're playing the Terminal 5 here in N.Y. and were filming this one for MSN so that you people (again) will be able to relive the fine moments of yours truly on stage - this time through a new device/thing called the internet. (will tell you more about this here internet thing when I know more).

Anyhow, tonight we're going for the kill - we will be super deluxe great tonight and some lucky 2800 people will be here and will definietly tell their grand children about this very night when they saw The Hives at the legendary Terminal 5.
