I wanted to share with all of you how much fun last night's blog talk War on Abuse Radio Program was, so I decided I'd send out last night's program to each of you so you can have a listen at your convenience!

There were so many experiences to be had by me on ’The Last Miracle Mile" of my journey back home to the truth about myself while on my way back home to my heart and music has always been important to me so let me share another experience that was mine to have.
One evening while alone in my apartment a song was playing over my radio, as usual, my heart spoke to me and told me to listen to the drums.My heart said, "Listen to its beat."As I did, I was reminded of my "Drummer Boy."
It felt as though he was, once again, playing his drums for me as if he was showing me the beat to stay true to my hearts leading.As I listened closely to the music I could hear the guitar strumming and then that instrument would ring in my ears.I would sing along with the songs and was reminded of the fondest memories with my "Drummer Boy."
He played his drums in every song that I listened to so I could race home to my heart by his beats.The drums he played in every song I listened too are still ringing in my ears as I raced by his beats to find the answers for you and for me.One song in particular that I listened to had a drum solo to be heard with my heart as I tuned in my hearts frequency.My "Drummer Boy" beat his drums through that song and got a standing ovation from me at its end.That particular drum solo that presided in this song is still ringing in my ears as I raced by my "Drummer Boys" beats to find the answer for you and for me.
He beat his drums strong, true, loud and clear in every single song I listened to.My "Drummer Boys" beats were always true as he shinned his light on me like a beacon on a hillside so I could see and recognize the root to my hearts pain.I love that "music man."It wasn’t long until I found myself beginning to sing my hearts truth and I suddenly realized that I was following its true beat.
I love the drums.I love the drums.I loved the drums best.
My heart showed me that my passed over loved ones indeed had a role to play in my life.The individual parts each of them played is what showed me the way back home to my heart.Each loved one screamed at me and tried to show me the truth about the cycle of verbal abuse when they were alive and as I drew upon my memories of each of my passed over loved ones I could see the truth of that.It became apparent to me what it was that had damaged mine and your hearts because I dared to see them clearly for what they were not.The whole time they had been my beacon on a hillside.
How could I not forgive a sacrifice such as theirs that they had made for me?What a sacrifice they truly made for me to lay down their lives and shine so bright for my eyes to see what really happened to you and me.Now, instead of me calling what happened to me by their names I can give the damage in my life its proper name, the cycle of verbal abuse.I finally realized it was time to stop blaming others for the condition I let my emotional wellbeing become.Armed with understanding and empathy for their lost lives has set me free to speak my hearts truth to all of you.What a real blessing they really had always been to me and you and I’ll never forget their sacrifices that were made for my sake.
Another experience to be had on this "Last Miracle Mile" that will be mine to cherish to the day I die, occurred as I was sitting at the river by the water’s edge in "Shakespeare’s Garden."That’s when I first heard the thundering noise of a heard of wild mustang horses then witnessed their arrival upon the forest where I was sitting.I saw them galloping through the trees in their approach of me.These mustang horses ran with a thunderous sound and came in from a distance far behind.They ran across my very eyes and path as they ran their way through the trees.
One particular horse suddenly stopped dead in his tracks as the pack he had been running in ran ahead and left him behind.He just stood all alone as the pack he was running in moved ahead.As he stood there it seemed he was waiting as I sat watching him.I could sense that he was waiting for some unknown reason as he labored for breath and stomped his foot at the ground.He waited for the longest time when suddenly in the distance I could hear more mustang horses making their way to him.
As they approached, he then left his stead and began racing ahead to catch up with the front of the pack.
Holy cow, you should have seen the look in the lead horse’s eyes that was at the head of the slower pack.That horse picked up speed and started running like hell to catch up with the former lone mustang that was now racing away toward the head of the pack.The stragglers that were within this second pack of mustang horses were forced to increase their speed as they saw that mustang bolt away from them.They knew they were at the end of their day and if they didn’t run with that mustang horse who was leading their pack that they’d never find their way back home to each other at the end of the day.
My heart spoke and said, "Listen to the sound of the thunder in their feet," and as I listened I could hear the millions of others who had ever dared to try to find their way back home to their hearts.The thunderous noise went on forever as the two packs of horses raced across the park through the trees and out of sight.I just wept and wept.
I could hear the thunder of their hoofs for the longest time as I sat in the dust of the evening and as the sound of their thunderous feet echoed through the trees my heart spoke again and said that I was that mustang horse who wanted to run with the pack out in front but that I was given a heart that chose instead to be the guard between.
My heart spoke to me and said that I wanted to be certain to show others the way to the front of the pack because as far as I was concerned no one was getting left behind on my stead.I have been so humbled.

The awakening of my heart began at the burning of a historic building in my home town; a small town that’s only a speck on the face of the GLOBE.
WITNESS THE "CLEANSING FIRE OF LIFE!"
I could see plainly the destruction that was still left in my life from my childhood bad start as I gazed upon the fallen bricks and twisted steel that was left of my beloved land mark hotel in the place my heart had always called home that represented to me the corner stone of my heritage.
WITNESS THE DESTRUCTION OF STUFFED PAIN AND HURT…...
After I accepted the truth that I was sitting in the destruction of my past and wearing it like a shroud I decided to stand up and walk away from the ashes of my past. My beauty for ashes is now coming on fast!
After the experience of my awakening I was drawn to sit by the water’s edge in quiet contemplation and reflection while sitting in the midst of nature at a place I fondly call "Shakespeare’s Garden."
In this beautiful garden place I sat quietly with the birds and the beasts of the field surrounding me asking my "Higher Power" what the root of the undoing of my life was, when suddenly I began to receive the words of my personal story, "The Last Miracle Mile."
WITNESS SHAKESPEARE’S GARDEN; WHERE "THE LAST MIRACLE MILE WAS BIRTHED!"
I was then lead North to another wonderful mysterious place as I was called to build prayer rocks in a vortex under the mountains of red to honor my hearts journey that I was about to take.
The pictures of the stacked rocks in the slide show are called "Prayer Rocks." Among these pictures are my personal "Prayer Rocks." I built them in the wilderness mountain area in Sedona which is a town located in the High Desert of Arizona and is considered to be a natural vortex. I built my personal prayer rocks as a commemoration unto my heart knowing that I was embarking on the journey of The Last Miracle Mile.
I hiked into the wilderness area beneath the red mountains of Sedona and followed a trail alongside a beautiful river until I suddenly stumbled upon these strange stacked rocks. I then asked someone who was there in the same spot as me exactly what those rocks were. I was told that they were called prayer rocks and that people had built them as they sent prayers forth or that they had built them as a commemoration to a heart decision they had made.
So I too built my personal prayer rocks in this secluded place to honor my hearts decision to travel The Last Miracle Mile of my spiritual journey home to my heart.
Many people visit Sedona to explore its metaphysical dimensions, especially its vortexes. Sedona has been known as a sacred place for a very long time. For hundreds of years Native Americans have performed ceremony in Sedona, and some tribes continue to this day. Sedona as a whole is a vortex, with the energy spread throughout it like a bowl. There have been many visits I’ve made to Sedona where you could hear the sound of Native American music being played right outside your hotel balcony, so beautiful to the ears that I spent hours sitting on the balcony of my hotel room just to listen to the beauty of the Native American music.
The term vortex means it’s a site that is concentrated with spiritual energy and since even before the beginning of the town of Sedona the Native Americans had used these wondrous mountains and performed their ceremonies in Sedona leaving their spiritual energy in this spot.
Vortexes are where energy rises out of the earth and into the earth and are useful when one wishes to view life from a higher plane, to develop a more universal perspective or to send prayer or affirmation out into the world. Vortexes make you feel positive, exhilarated and rejuvenated. They literally unwind you and help you to tap into a universal oneness and harmony.
Each person will experience a vortex differently. Some gain new insights, others experience intense feelings of joy or release, or they gain a new heightened spiritual awareness. I don’t need to tell you what I experienced because all of what I just spoke of was experienced by me as I built my prayer rocks.
Sitting quietly and experiencing what I needed to experience in that place by the water’s edge with red rock mountains surrounding me was the most direct way I could think of to interact with that vortex as I built my personal prayer rocks. I received such spiritual enlightenment and understanding of the journey I was about to embark on as I built my prayer rocks; I’ll never be the same.
Upon the completion of my journey to reach my home my heart, the story of "The Last Miracle Mile" found it’s close; I realized then that I had found paradise, journeys end, because I was now given a new slate free from the destruction of my life of pain and hurt on which to build a new foundation to live my life from.
A clean slate was given in the very spot where once stood the demonstration of my hearts great pain in the vision of twisted steel and fallen bricks that 1 year and 8 months later was an even solid ground from which would come forth a new beginning!
