Sun studio's in Memphis is one of, if not the most legendary studio in the world!!(Abbey Road i'm sorry)
It is the place where Elvis first walked in and said "er um, excuse me miss. I was wondering if could I sing a song for ya'll on that reckid player." THATS WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID. Johnny Cash also walked into Sun Studio's a business man and out "the fucking man"... Haven't you seen Walk The Line?
EJ and I were lucky enough to be asked to do a live session there while we were in town. It was a terrific place! All the studio employees were so happy and proud to work there and there was a really great energy in that room.
They have recently installed solar panels on the roof of the studio and this will manage to cover half the studio's power (Studios need a lot of Power).
We even got to record onto the same Protools rig that Elvis recorded Blue Suede Shoes's!

USA tour with the veils BLOGS GALLORE

hey all,
we have had a great start to our huge US tour with the mighty Veils. NY, Phili, DC and Chapel Hill all special in their own unique way. with so many friends and camera's on the road i have barely taken any photo's... which is kinda liberating. However... i would suggest checking out the veils blog on their myspace. (they are in my top friends)
Finn bought a new camera which is taking some lovely B&W shots and Soph has been writing some nice little narrative's to accompany them.
i will do my best to post some photo's as i take them.... most likely on my www.liamfinn.tv/blog
but maybe if you're lucky i'll put them here too... yet i am seeming to shy away more and more from myspace... and don't even get me started on facebook
