THE BIG ’DADDIES’
They are far too busy with their new borns to be going on myspace, but I thought I’d let people know that Si and his partner Catherine gave birth to Harrison John Edney (7 and a half pounds) a week last monday. Not to be out done, just 4 days later, Steve and his partner Claire gave birth to Stanley Robert Hillman (just over 5 pounds). All are happy and healthy. All it needs now is Rob and I to eventually produce sons and the ’Tiny High Times’ will be complete.
Peace Al x

a quick one to say that I've3 just posted some new videos on the site and also set up a profile at you tube. One of the videos is a lesson for any band in why you should say no when 4 pissed up brighton fans ask if they can watch you soundcheck, enjoy:)
Address is : www.youtube.com/themightyhightimes
anyeway we will be trying to post up some more stuff on there soon, and hope to get a full gig recorded and posted in the next few weeks.
Hope everyone doing well
Steve

1st Blog in ages
Current mood: high
Howdy folks. We've been slack on the Blogging front for a while, so here's an update about whats been going on. Robbie tried to sell his learjet on ebay, but the winning bidder couldn't cover the postage so it's still going if anyones interested. Steve has finally moved down to Brighton from the big smoke which means more writing/rehearsing/gigging from now on which we're all looking forward to. In fact the last two weeks has been particularly productive with new tunes and ideas coming out of the woodwork. The results shall appear here for your listening pleasure when ready. We just played a session for BBC Southern counties Radio which was a good experience. Seemed to go pretty well, despite playing a gig the night before with our mates The Great North Western Hoboes - which always leads to good times and very little sleep. That was some gig, not technically the best, but probably the most fun we've had at our night - 'The Stash' (which is going from strength to strength!). Any time two bands combine in the heat of the moment to play 500 miles by the Proclaimers, with a washboard and cowbell for percussion - thats the kinda shit that doesn't happen everyday. The people dancing on the bar seemed to enjoy it! We're laying low for the rest of the year to build up a load of new songs, and we've found a great new place to rehearse - a studio on a farm yard. Horses come right upto the window to check out the noise - they seem to be intrigued, although one did lay on his back and kick his legs about when we played 'Find the Time'. Not sure if thats a seal of horsey approval or not? Cheers to everyone for their support and have a top time over the winter MHT Al x
