The Devil in Ms. Vicious...a poetry book by Lisa Vicious ™
Category: Writing and Poetry
"Dancing in the chasm between resignedly annoyed and agonized; as if The Virgin Mary herself carried the cross while Jesus consorted with prostitutes, Lisa Vicious shouts down blasphemy with iconic blasphemy. Just as the young girl dreams of her knight, Miss Vicious dreams of dates with sanity and reason in the honestly, astutely, subtitled Bipolar Fairytales. She is angry, yet graciously allows her indignities to smear these pages..."

Introspection...a poetry book by Vincent John Ancona
Category: Writing and Poetry
"Vincent John "VJ" Ancona has been writing ever since he could pick up a pencil. At the age of 13, he had his first poem published. It was in that moment Vince realized that writing poetry was his calling. Vince was drawn to the confessional style of poetry in the vein of such famous writers as Sylvia Plath and Robert Lowell. For Vincent, the key to good poetry is not Rhyme Scheme or Iambic Pentameter, he believes in creative expression through sincerity and honesty. This collection of unembarrassed poems chronicles his life experiences and razor sharp insight of the world around him. Vincent's poetry has been hailed by critics nationwide and has been published in various books, and featured on several CD's. VJ has completed poetry projects for various writers, models, fashion designers, photographers and celebrities. This is his first book of published poetry. Books by John Leach (Author & Poet)...
Category: Writing and Poetry
Rhyme, Rhythm, and Reason "Rhyme, Rhythm, and Reason is a form or style of poetic writing consisting of English words that rhyme, possess rhythm, and have reason to their style as well as containing reason within the message itself. This book does not follow or copy any other style but rather attempts to achieve its own style and/or form of poetic writing with words that rhyme, have a rhythmic overtone, and portray a brief message with reason in each and every short poetic writing. The stretching of the imagination and creativity with the use of everyday ordinary English words are implemented in the author's own use of the English language. The overall message being portrayed by the writings contained in this book is a message with an attempt to inspire and encourage others with hope even during the most difficult times of life and an attempt to offer some comical writings to bring laughter to the reader."
Summertime Friends Summertime Friends is a fictional novel based on a true story about seven teenagers from different parts of the country who spend the summer together. Three boys and four girls endure individual and collective hardships as they learn to live together in a small community despite their different backgrounds. Three of the teens overcome seemingly impossible odds despite the negative prognoses given by pessimists, thus proving that the optimistic will of the human spirit overcomes the mind of the pessimist. However, these friends are unfortunately and inevitably separated. This is their story.

Buildings In A House Of Fire...a poetry book by Graham Tiler
Category: Writing and Poetry
"Buildings In A House Of Fire is the first major collection of work by Glasgow based writer and poet Graham Tiler. It is an astonishingly brutal and honest personal journey concerning the emotional and physical extremes and excesses of life pushed to its limits by a lifestyle that has often embraced a series of emotional and physical addictions. It is deeply rooted in a highly charged Rock 'n' Roll aesthetic and inhabits both the experimental and traditional with a uniquely shewered and individual identity. Idiosyncratic in both style and form with a rich and varied landscape that encompasses everything from the darkly nightmarish struggle with depression to the surreal and meandering thought processes of an anti-authoritarian left-field thinker. This book has an intensely original outlook and is delivered with an individual, exciting new voice."

Diary of an Affair...a poetry book by B.J. "Lyrikal" Brown (Relentless Optimism aka Bunneh)
Category: Writing and Poetry
"Why do men cheat? How does love fail a marriage? Though there is no one answer, this poetic journey is an answer through one man's tale. Sad, passionate, erotic, and intriguing, you'll find one way that eternity can decay."

17: Love’s Beloved Number...by Sean Garrison
Category: Writing and Poetry
"This book is a journey through being alone to being lonely and Eroticism to Romance. These were moments of love lost and love sought, love experienced and love lived through an imagination of what love should be. The title "17: Love's Beloved Number" was born out of each step of this journey and my love for Haiku, a Japanese poetic form. Enjoy the trip."

Reflections of a Dark Soul: A New Vision of Horror...a poetry book by C.V. Clark
Category: Writing and Poetry
"Cory was born in Miami, Florida, in the cultural turning point that was 1979. He watched as corruption, drug, hate, and greed ran rampant through the halls of government and the streets of America . He watched as terrorism, war, famine, and plagues ran amuck around the world including in our own back yard. It seemed as if the darkness inherent in humanity was destined to destroy us, but somewhere in that darkness there was a speck of light. Reflections of a Dark Soul was born from that era of strife and tragedy that he grew up in. He took the strife and suffering of humanity and turned it into a collection of darkly twisted, aesthetically beautiful, and deeply disturbing poetry that scrapes across the surface of the soul to reveal the angst within us all."
