The 95 Theses Is Done

We have officially called it quits. Dallas, Jonathan, and Ian are involved in a new project called Trumpets, and will be playing shows again shortly. We would appreciate your support.

ichthus and update

We couldn't be happier with how things went at ichthus this year. Thank you all for the support of us and all the bands that night and through the weekend. We made so many new friends and it is always a privilege to play there and have people actually know who we are.

As far as whats going on now, well we are curretly writing new material and getting ready to go full time again (under a new name). To make this possible we pray that you would continue to help and support us. We are all in no way counselors or claim to be very good at conversation but we want you to know that if you are having a rough day or just generally feel down, please drop us a line and let us know. Maybe we can help you feel better, maybe not, but regardless we would be more than happy to listen (or read I guess).

If you are going to cornerstone make sure you check out lots of our friends bands on the great white fight stage. Also please say hello to our friends in August Burns Red and visit their page.

THE NEW BAND
Current mood: sore

So, after ichthus 95 will be done, but a new band has been in the works for some time, and will make its debut some time after ichthus.

So far the band consists of me (Dallas) on guitar, Sam on guitar, Jon Maupin on drums, and Lewis on Vocals.... basically the main line up minus Ian (he is doing vocals and all the writing for The Gentlemen Homicide).

While the name of the new band has yet to be revealed, it should make its debut at ichthus, so you all know what to look for..

also, dont expect T95T all over again... Ian was a big part of the band, and of the sound, so we are going in a different direction.

It will still be HEAVY believe that...

but Sam and I both have matured a ton as guitar players and musicians and have been writing music that is in my opinion much more technical from both a player's standpoint and a listeners standpoint... and while much of the music will be VERY BRUTAL, some will be more melodic than anything youve heard from us...

also it will be MORE METAL.... not near as much hardcore influence... but there will be alot of breakdowns... we know people like to dance.

Anyway, i just thought i would give everyone a heads up as to what is going on. Most likely after ichthus we will take a month or two and focus solely on writing and practicing our new material, and sometime toward the end of summer we start playing shows again...

We really hope and pray that all of you will give this new band the same support if not more than you gave T95T.. we feel blessed that you all have stuck with us to this point, and I promise you... the new band will not disappoint you in any way.

Thanks for reading and please spread the word.

Dallas and Dudes.

So whats next

So I guess after all this stuff thats been going on we have convinced ourselves and have been convinced by others to get back together.  Ian of course wont be in the band because he is already involved in another (although he might possibly play with us at ichthus).  Ichthus will be the last show as The Ninety Five Theses.  At that point our name and music style will change (but not like a complete change or aything).  We will pick up a new bassist, begin to write all new stuff, then record.  At this point we are just going to take opportunities as they come along and see what happens.  People keep asking us to tour and wanting to book us for the summer.  We ARE going to accept some things.  I'm sure that you can understand that when a band is fulltime and then breaks up, their popularity drops very quickly.  There's no new songs, no new pics, no new information, nothing much exciting happening at this moment.  That doesn't mean there won't be though.  We sincerely appreciate all of our friends who have encouraged us enough to give this another try.  Expect solid things from us, we promise to deliver.
