"the mystery of gunkanjima" ...
Current mood:  working
it's been a while since i've posted a new blog entry here , mainly because i was busy with other projects , but in the meantime i've uploaded more or less "secretly" some new(er) stuff here : part 2 of "from deep within ( music by ghosts )" has replaced part 1 & "london underground" ( a favorite not only of myself ;-) from the "environmental noises" soundtrack project has been added here since july ...
today i've jus' finished the track "gunkanjima radio" from a greater project called "the mystery of gunkanjima" & uploaded it here too , as there now is the possibility to add even 6 ( ! ) songs to the myspace music player !
i may replace part 2 of "from deep within ( music by ghosts )" already before the end of the year with part 3 & also add some other trax here too , but for now that's all , as there are still a lot of projects to finally finish or abandon - depending on the stage they are currently in ...
until then ... keep your ears wide open & listen to the sound of this world !
meanwhile ... the source of time is moving on ...

"from deep within ( music by ghosts )" & "the shape of things to come" ...
Current mood:  busy
shortly before this month is already over , i like to give y' all a lil' update on what is ( still ) going on concerning "the source of time" ...
"from deep within ( music by ghosts )" is ( almost ) ready to be released now & i'll give u a lil' taster of it , which i've uploaded to the music player called simply "part 1" !
the cover artwork for it was already up on the main profile site for about a month & was replaced by a new image now !
during this summer i'll concentrate on many different projects like "eigendynamik" by fremd_akustik & also the "hal(lu)cy(nati)on" soundtrack plus a few more "ghostly" parts of "from deep within ( music by ghosts )" most likely !
i may also put up much more visual than audible "art" here in the future !
until then ... keep your ears wide open & listen to the sound of this world !

"I S S - the silent observer" - a new soundtrack ...
Current mood:  determined
once again some things went in a different direction as originally planned by me , but in this case i can't say that i'm unhappy with it , as it has spawned a brand new project , which seems to be quite challenging : "I S S - the silent observer" ( soundtrack ) ! fyi : i've already uploaded the main theme of it here in the myspace music player ! u can not only listen , but also download it , if u like ! anyway ... i like that space theme very much & will work some further on it , so other trax may appear here soon ! btw : work on the project called fremd_akustik will start sometime during this summer with several recordings & i may ( or may not ) also continue to work a bit on the the "hal(lu)cy(nati)on" trax , but this will happen later this year , as i suppose by now ! until then ... listen to what "the silent observer" has to offer u already now & enjoy it , if u like ! meanwhile ... the source of time is moving on ...

fremd_akustik - "eigendynamik" ...
Current mood:  productive
recordings for a new project with the german name "fremd_akustik" will start soon ... it will comprise ONLY of "found sounds" made by old steam engines like trains etc. !
later these "found sounds" will be processed , arranged & edited to be released under the german title "eigendynamik" ...
as it's certainly not that easy anymore to find enough good sounds of old steam engines like trains etc. that haven't been used before , i like to ask u , my friends , if u happen to have some recordings like that or even want to make some for this project , please get in touch with me concerning it via private mail !
all your input will be greatly appreciated & honored !

from the halcyon project to the source of time & back again ...

it actually isn't a long way from one project to the next , as they are both firmly connected with each other - the halcyon project was initiated by me in may 1993 & after a time of 4 years & several "field" recordings ( almost endless hours of sound material ) the 1st really finished track was "eternal ice" ( full length version ) , which i'd produced for the "kiss my blood" soundtrack to the debut movie by director david jazay from germany in 1997 !
btw : u can now find that version , which was actually still recorded under the name of the halcyon project , here now as a downloadable version together with the only 3 other really finished trax ( "the moon behind the door" ( intro , main theme & reprise , which were recorded @ the end of 2004 & re-edited @ the beginning of 2005 ) ) that once emerged from the halcyon project & later became a part of the source of time multi-media project , which is active since about 10 years by now ...
currently i'm working on the completion of the "hal(lu)cy(nati)on" trax , which consists of several old & new recordings that were done by me in the past 10 years & are now ready to be (re-)edited & shortened to an album length of approximately a bit more than an hour !
a taster of that album in form of a short track of maybe even less than 3 minutes length might be added here sometime in may !
the source of time is moving on now ...
