MEXICO!!!
Current mood: anticapatory

Thats right, Bitchez-I leave for Mexico tomorrow AM.  Tonight we're going to see the QUEEN tribute band at the Paramount, followed immediately by driving to Richmond to sleep for a few hours and then heading to the airport for a 6 am flight.  Apparently our suite is equipped with a PRIVATE TERRACE AND POOL (I have no idea what this means, but there will be pictures upon my return).  I'm gonna sit on my ass and drink absinthe for a week straight, its going to be glorious.  So nobody attempt to call my phone as I will be chasing the green fairy in another land.  You can email or message me, I'm sure there will be some sort of internet at the resort I can utilize.  I wioll be back late Friday night, but hopefully in time to stop by the Outback Lodge and see Jimmies Chicken Shack!  Other than that, I'll be seeing everyone next week!  I'll be sure to party enough for everybody!!!

Tim on Tour 2007!!!

Me and my band ThisMeansYou are leaving tomorrow for our first NATIONWIDE TOUR!!!  We're hitting up the midwest/west coast, starting in Detroit and ending in New Orleans via the West Coast.  Check out our web site or myspace for all the dates (www.thismeansyou.com or www.myspace.com/thismeansyou) and let me know if any of my out of town friends can make it to any of the shows. 

We're going out on tour with Bella Morte, good friends of mine, which will hopefully make the trip easier.  I'm really excited, just REALLY not looking forward to all the driving.  But when we get back, it'll be awesome to say we drove across the country and back.  But aside from the driving and spening time apart from my girlfriend YET AGAIN, it should be a blast.  We're going to be posting blogs and crazy videos along the way so keep posted to our myspace/youtube sites (www.youtube.com/thismeansmetal). 

And we'll be back on Halloween, so hopefully someone will throw a cool Halloween/welcome home party!  It is my favorite holiday after all. 

So wish us luck and spread the word if you got any friends in any of the cities that you think might like us!

crazy times
Current mood: relieved

Yeah, I havent been on here as much lately, had a lot goin' on.  My girlfriend is here (NO MORE LONDON, WooHoo!) for an uncertain amount of time, but things have been a thousand times better.  I'm sure people have noticed a spike in my happiness.  It probably just means it's gonna suck harder when she has to leave again.  But hey, NY beats the shit outta UK.  That seems like a peice of cake now!

Other than that, I had a crazy fun weekend, went to the Virgin Mobile Festival in Baltimore last Sat/Sun, it was awesome.  The highlights were definitely the Police, the Beastie Boys, the Smashing Pumpkins and Bad Brains.  All played great set lists and rocked HARD!  Me and Kat and her sis Meghan had also decided to go to the Family Values concert in NJ since we missed the one closer, so after the V-Fest I just trekked up to NYC for a few days before we went to that show on Wednesday.  While in the city I checked out 2 really awesome exhibits.  The Mythical Creatures exhibit at the Natural History Museum (subtitled DRAGONS, UNICORNS & MERMAIDS lol!)  which was really cool, and the BODIES exhibit, where they take science/art-donated human bodies and preserve and pose them.  It was pretty creepy.  Unfortunately they told me that 75% of the exhibit was closed for renovations, but I got in practically for free because of it as well.  But the little I saw was really cool, I reccomend checking it out if you get the means.  I may go back again later. 

So through my journeys this year I was able to use up every ounce of vacation time I had at my job (which was a lot!) and it was all totally worth it.  Between doing a little traveling and spending much more time with my girlfriend, this year has treated me pretty well.  I've had a ton of fun.  It'll be interesting to see where my life takes me now.

I'm going up to NY on Monday to see my girlfriend, so everybody may notice a happier Tim upon my return!  Thanks to everybody who cam out to our housewarming party, it was a ton of fun and a lot of drunkenness!!!  We will be hosting an afterparty of sorts after the NAVEL show tomorrow night at Starr Hill if anyone is interested.  I'm also headed down to Fridays After 5 tonight for the BIG PAYBACK (James Brown tribute band!!!)

Oh, and the ThisMeansYou CD is out!  Buy it if you haven't yet.  It's online through our web store (www.churchofheavymetal.com) or via myspace or at any Plan 9 Music store.  We're broke and need $$ so spread the word!!!

Maybe I'll see some of you out tonight and tomorrow?

House Warming Party!!!

We're breaking in our new house NEXT SATURDAY June 30th.  We're cookin' out at 7pm.  We'll have meat but feel free to bring anything pot luck style, just try and let us know so we don't double up.  And we'll have  keg of cheap beer so BYOB if you dont like it.  Message me if you need directions, its meer blocks from the downtown mall.
