An Under the Radar Double Jeopardy By Tim Rambo 8-5-2008
Grievances for unfair treatment of prisoners is not high on anyone's list of humanitarian injustices, but nevertheless there is one that isn't being noticed as far as I can tell.
They created these SuperMax prisons for the worst of the worst. The uncontrollable, violent, and homicidally prone. For the most part few were to ever go there as a life sentence. But now people are going there from the day of their conviction and sent to spend the rest of their lives there. The higher the profile the more likely it is.
Take the UNA Bomber for instance. Considering he had no previous record, he should have been sent to a regular prison. These supermaxes are worse then death. Nothing I know of can surpass the inhumanity of these people in a box of isolation denied all contact with the outside world on a 24/7 basis.
If the public doesn't get it now, and they clearly don't, they aren't going to get it in November. When the contrast is between Obama and a bush buffoon two, and you still have narrow polls then nothing of merit has changed in the national consciousness. It's like they don't see anything wrong with the republican party. That the only problem was bush and his administration. They ignore, or are incapable of putting the pieces together from an age appropriate, 7 to 10 puzzle.
Not only has the constitution been sacked, but the voter mentality has been manipulated, and then consequently usurped. If we get another tight race, and it certainly looks that way, it will be something the republicans can monkey wrench once again. A few hundred thousand qualified voters, seen as felons for another mysterious computer glitch. A shortage of voting machines in a few well chosen democrat rich locations, and so on.
Then you have the dems that have done nothing to prevent what happened then from happening now. And remember we still have a supreme court that will finalize another stolen election.
Then finally no impeachment, which means the next president will have all of that unconstitutional power that will greet him upon entry. Not long after that you'll have at the very least a new status quo that can only continue to grow to gargoyle-ion proportions.
Some precedent setting dramatic event would have to happen to derail the wrong train we are all on.
I really hope I'm wrong. But right now I don't see it.
Addendum: Another strike against Obama is that he is intelligent and articulate. But there is a personal problem that magnifies his intellect. He assumes too much. He too often feels as though it isn't necessary to detail to the public the reasons for his controversial choices. In fact he doesn't even consider the problem he will have if he doesn't give any explanation at all before he announces them Like people will get what he sees as the obvious.
Unless he errantly believes all people are equal, when in realty there is a huge gulf between ignorance, and stupidity, and it's alternative. He has to know that the latter is in the minority. .
He has to give them the illusion they are smart, and reasonable, but if he believes that he can't do anything else but lose
Because there is a blizzard of choices in today's world, there is a constant turnover of what choices you can make. The choice you make today may not be available tomorrow. Particularly aggravating when you want to replace it, or to have the confidence the choice will still be there in the future. We have an immediate deficit in space with which to accommodate a never ending accumulation of choices.
Then there is the problem of rediscovery. You purchased something you liked a year ago. Let's say this product had several options. So now you not only have to remember the name of what you purchased, but the litany of options you chose to go with it if you want to replace it. Remembering again because of choice saturation you may not be able to rediscover because the options have changed since then. And of course the best ones were left out
This chaos of choice has all but rendered standardization obsolete as well. There are probably many people that don't remember when everything was standardized, and the sound reasoning as to why it was so. Actually there still is standardization, but it's being sabotaged by corporations that want to make the same god damn thing, but a thing where the parts are not standardized so you have to go to them for that product. I'm talking something as simple as a square component, as opposed to a round component just to make it impossible for you to buy from their competitors. Microsoft played a big part in making that happen. So what you really have here is choice manipulation. A choice system designed to corral you into choosing their choices, not your own
And lastly, to give you some examples, you find an especially tasty food product in the supermarket. You go back to replenish it and find that the product is either no longer on the shelves, or choices of what kind of product you expect has changed, and is no longer satisfactory. They have a new cereal almost every damn day, but the shelf space remains the same. Something has to go.
I love bland bratwurst. I can no longer find bland bratwurst.. Now they all have taste differences. Obviously the original was arbitrarily eliminated.
So because of all this we have lost an important part of our right to choose. They simply remove those choices and give you unsolicited new ones whether you like it or not.

I understand Plagiarism, but what about...?

Between legal, and illegal I have always chosen the latter on this issue. I'd rather call it civil disobedience.
I have a firm belief that all knowledge should be available to everyone without payment. The more important the information the more it trumps the status quo.
I give due credit to all of my sources, but I don't always ask for permission. Here is specifically where I don't ask for permission, even when there is a warning that you cannot reprint without permission, or for any reason. Let me use examples.
I am subscribed to some very informative online magazines, and they're not cheap. When information there is denied non subscribers I will post it with due accreditation,, but I will also post it for general access.
It's not like they haven't already made their dime, and that I am somehow magically capable of reaching millions with this now free info. And of course I never post anything for profit.
I know I also risk getting myself deleted.
To me in some cases the information is so crucial I consider it unethical to keep it from the public.
Now of course everyone has seen those disclaimer warnings from online news sources. But I don't think they enforce their own rule because it is plain silly not to be allowed to copy articles and post them elsewhere with links.
Anyway I am just curious as to other people's opinion on my "Civil Disobedience"?
The Doctor I see in town is religious, and so is everyone that works for him. I've only run across one bottom rung employee that was boisterously evangelical. All the rest have at least acted professional and kept their religion to themselves. Except of course the music that runs to all corners of the building which is a jesus freak rock station.
But because of the illness I have had a lot more appointments, and because of it's seriousness some of them have taken notice with a deeper interest in me personally.
This has caused two of them to say they would pray for me. Then during my last appointment today to get my ears unplugged, have a wax problem, the nurse came in and gave me a prayer rock, and said she would pray for me.. So this time I was forced to react. I couldn't just look away as if I hadn't noticed. So I smiled and said thanks. I knew she wanted more. I know they want to know if I am a believer or not. No doubt because I never reciprocate, or incriminate myself by stating that I am not religious let alone atheist.
I find myself having the same problem coming out there as I did at work.
But now the stakes are higher, or could be. These people also like me. I have away with people when I want to. Who knows One of them could get a fund raiser going at one of their churches or something. They know I'm uninsured and the life threatening nature of this liver disease. Anyway that was just a thought. I doubt that will happen.
But a few things have already happened. My doctor has slashed the payment on the office visits from 52 dollars to 36, and today it was only 30. I also know he has connections and could probably help me get free drugs etc.
Then I am going to see him on the 30th to discuss how I was treated at the office with the doctor that was to provide the crucial treatment for Hep C. I am going to explain to him that shortly after they discovered I was uninsured their attitude changed. I was basically talked out of receiving any treatment by their nurse practitioner. To tell you honestly I think I was lied to. If you want the details on this it's in my blog "Big Surprise".
I need my doctor and his clinic to be on my side. I have a feeling they may be instrumental in my recovery.
That being said I also know I have an important responsibility here. I have an opportunity to be an example of an atheist in a fox hole. I didn't want it, but that's how it turned out. There is no point in denying it.
The fox hole part is easy. What is hard is knowing that if I keep my mouth shut I may be protected by a deeper fox hole, instead of an open battle field for my life
I'm no expert, but here are my views on what I do know.
Communism is a human spirt killer. It wants an automaton sameness for all. The lamp in your apartment would be the same as your neighbors, and neither of you would own the lamps, the government would
Socialism wants parity equality for ownership by the collective, as in all of the people in this country. Closer to a government for the people, and by the people. Under it's purview would be real national single payer healthcare.
But it needs to be tempered with capitalism. Not the predator beast we have today, but one that is regulated with limits.
No more 90 billion airs. Close the huge gap between the haves, and have nots. Instead of the rich making more money by hundreds, or thousands of times over John and Jane Doe in the factory, they would make 5 to 8 times more, or somewhere in that ballpark.. The point is the current gap is utterly absurd, and is the brand name for exploitation.
You may ask why have capitalism at all? Because our species is hardwired for competition. Not just in sports either. We need this as a spice of life. Enough do anyway that I don't think you could have a predominately socialist government without it. You have to temper the isms like you do steel if you want it to be strong, and last
First off my intent is not to be an Obama apologist even if I am going to vote for him. My reason for this blog is to distance the common consensus that Obama is a flip flopper with no other information, or quantification as to why he supposedly changed on the FISA bill. His voting for it was in direct contradiction to what he had committed himself to do.
Paraphrasing here he is in a catch 22 of being a senator running for president. The level of power between the two positions is a no contest.
Now one point that he made that has stuck with me ever since, is not choosing the vote winning no on FISA position. As he sees it he had no choice but to vote for it. If he didn't he wouldn't have the power to see that other national security protections in the bill went ahead if the bill didn't pass.
He knows from experience that Bush is willing to do anything to meet his ends. This would mean that bush would more than likely let every important security concern languish until he finally got his way. And any consequences from a failed FISA would as usual be blamed on the dems.
But personally I don't think that had any part in his decision to vote for FISA. I genuinely believe he was thinking of the country, and he made not only a hard choice, but one that could cost him the presidency.
Now it has been said that Hillary voted against it. But Hillary has nothing to lose for looking good here. I can only wonder how she would have voted had she been running for office? Well that was a stupid question. In either case she would have voted against it because voting against it is career protecting at this juncture, if not enhancing. A no vote wouldn't be.
Just food for thought to my fellow disappointed Obama supporters. ~~~~~~~
Addendum: By the way I made my contribution to the Obama campaign. How about you? You can donate as little as 15 dollars on the site.
Now I haven't worked in two months because of my illness. I might be able to go one more month of staying on top of my bills. But I donated anyway, because of the importance of the fact that Obama has all of his eggs in our basket. Please help him out. We are all he has, and he is all we have.
I wasn't tooting my horn here. Just trying to put the gravity of the situation as something that should be everyone's highest priority, no matter how much it may hurt your wallet. If your kids won't eat, then don't donate. I see no other reason to avoid this very crucial, and important responsibility. Donate

Women Are The Ideal For Global Rule
By Tim Rambo
7-16-2008
Because something is, or always has been, doesn't necessarily make it right. And what isn't right here is that men have dominate, global power.
In my opinion that is exactly as it shouldn't be. The roles should be exactly reversed. On one level or another I have leaned towards this position most of my adult life. This video only reaffirmed my contention.
This wasn't the agenda of the video. It's what I fleshed out of it in the realm of beneficial possibilities.
Now it's been quite awhile since I watched this video that brought me to this writing. I wish there hadn't been such a time lag. I think had I not waited my articulation would be more precise with no penalty for memory gaps. I may have to watch it again, and come back and edit accordingly.
Getting to the points. Men shouldn't have anymore influence, and clout over war engagement, or how the war is fought than women do now. Men have entirely too much testosterone for global affairs, especially potential, or actual violent ones. On the other hand women do have the right amount of testosterone, along with the female hormone that not only acts as a good governor on impulsive aggression, but has more room for compassion and empathy. Consequently more likely to have a balanced view of what's going on, why it's going on, and what to do about it. They are the care givers and consequently, save for muscle, they are the best protectors.
Now I am not talking about most of the women in power today. Once they have gone through the male gauntlet to even to begin to have access to power they are little more than Margaret Thatchers, or Hillary Clintons. Concisely put they are just men with tits. If they weren't that way before, they are by the time they've gone down the road of political whoredom.
So that gauntlet has to go before the caliber of women we need to run this country, and this world can emerge
And as politically incorrect as it is I don't believe women should be in the line of fire whether it's the police or the military. There are unavoidable sacrifices and dangers that are inextricably attached whether you like it or not. They should be hiring and enlisting the men to do it for us.
I think this distorted brand of equality is a throwback from the pillow power, power suit feminists of the 60's. They knew they had a right to equality but they were fundamentally clueless as to what nature that equality should take. And there are many that are still stuck on replay. That's why we have situations where a 5'4" woman can put a pillow in her police car so she can see over the top. Standards have gone down in the name of affirmative action. That's not right, and in some cases it's lethal. I could elaborate on this point but not up to it at the moment.
I will add to and edit this blog as time goes on.
Oh, and I haven't succumbed to idealism. The likelihood of the above ever happening is remote. But I still think it deserves thought and maybe a little meme spread. Maybe someday there will be at least some adjustment on womens roles, and a more reasoned perception of what their equality should be.
Sexual Matters: What are they really?

Sexual Matters: What are they really? byTim Rambo August 25, 2000
Has anyone ever wondered how our sexuality would express itself had it not been conditioned by theistic mores in the first place? If we really did view it as an air, water, and food necessity?
Would the dirty joke exist? Would topless bars, and adult book stores exist? Would G, PG., PG13, R, and X ratings exist? Would some women be irreversibly traumatized into total dysfunction if they were raped, and others psychologically, and emotionally damaged for life?
Would it be the same especially for molested children if the puritan culture they were raised in hadn't already imprinted their minds with monster-esque possibilities, rather than human anomalies that needed to be dealt with and prevented in a rational manner, and the children themselves still very salvageable because they weren't already abused by society, their community, their peers, and unwittingly preconditioned parents?
Would there be as many sexual crimes without the repression to morph it into something that maybe it wasn't, and if it was, less acute, and amenable to being arrested.
This is some of what I mean by religion's insidious stealth.
These are some of the reasons why I argue with other infidels, vehemently insisting that it is not a matter of benign choice to believe. To do so only keeps alive the most dehumanizing construct to ever befall man. This thing where the only evil that exists is in it's concept and assembly line manufacture. Dogmas that rationalize justifications for state sanctioned murder, and ethnic cleansing. The ideology that pillages pride and self worth from human beings. That condemns for thoughts alone. That disallows personal credit for anything positive, and gives full personal responsibility for anything negative.
When a totalitarian regime does this the cries of outrage are unanimous, when religion does it, we kneel and give thanks. This utterly baseless and irrational belief in the myth of evil, in particular sexual evil, began with the Adam and Eve myth, and all of the truly perverted indoctrination against sexuality, and sexual abnormalities that came with it over the centuries. To such an ingrained extent that belief in evil, and especially this evil, has been adopted by the world in near unanimity by believers and atheists alike. And neither camp has a scintilla of scientific evidence to back it up.
None of us have been immune to religious influence. I don't care if you were brought up in an atheist family, you weren't brought up in a bubble. Atheists that believe in evil were preconditioned to do so without the benefit of scientific validation, and they don't even know it. That is how nearly perfect this brain washing has been. They are further seduced into cementing this conviction by appearances of horrific events just like their believing counterparts. No science necessary. The only exception.
I even had an atheist tell me one time that he believed in secular evil. I asked him what he based that on? He couldn't tell me, except to give some emotionally inciting examples. He also believed in the death penalty because of it. Others may not, but they still believe in evil.
How are we ever going to find untainted evidence of what these human anomalies really are, and consequently afford us treatments, cures, or manageability with a consensus like this?
It is clear that even science is cowed by this virulent, and erroneous conclusion. So much so as they continue to learn about brain originating causes, they invariably disclaim their discoveries with apologetics, making certain to communicate to the public that these are reasons for evil, not just mysterious, little understood aberrations. And they have no evidence to justify that disclaimer, except to avoid public ridicule, and grant threats.
Now I don't blame them. If they don't submit and nurture this irrationality it could impede, or stop them from researching altogether, or worse case scenario, end their careers.
You are the culprits, and in my opinion this death grip so many of you have on this mythology, slows science, and because of it, makes you unwittingly culpable in aiding and abetting the deviance, and horrors that you want to stop. It will never be accomplished with the exclusivity of punishment. It will not be accomplished by forcing psychiatrists to break patient confidence and reporting these defective individuals to the police. All they do there is make certain the pedophile will avoid treatment altogether, and hang out at the school yard instead. It will not stop rape by a sentence of multiple decades in prison, or even life for first time offenders. All that accomplishes is that more rapists become murders of their witnessing victims.
It is egregiously, and some times lethally wrong headed to adopt any irrationality as truth, as if it were engraved in stone. If you succumb to this you only succeed in creating a constantly mutating monster of your own, that becomes little more than an accessory before, and after the fact.
Addendum: I happen to be browsing through blogs I did on a profile I can no longer access. Many of the blogs are still there and not here.
Rereading it after all this time I realize I got into a bit of a rambling, disjointed vent. But be that as it may I am reposting it here. As to the video, I have another blog I want to do on that as well. That will come later.
What is it between us? By Tim Rambo 8-4-2007 Everything in this video I was already aware of observationally. However I didn't know testosterone was involved to the extent, and complexity it was depicted here. I knew it was an important factor, but how much, and in how many ways I wasn't certain.
What I did find that was disturbing, that regardless of the "mosaic" it is clear that men have control of the world because of testosterone, because it's influence goes way beyond brute strength. This is a question I have always wanted the answer too, and I never felt anyone was getting it right, and this is especially true of ardent female feminists.
I knew this lead domination with few exceptions goes back before recorded history. So it being random chance, or the luck of opportunity never made any logical sense to me. I saw it as a knowledge lacking rationalization to advance equality.
Like I've said before as humans we are all equal, but it ends there. All men are not equal to all men in all areas, nor are women when it comes to their gender, nor are the gender counterparts equal in a myriad of ways and levels.
But as to the issue of national or global equality, as in being the shakers and movers of society which is rooted in heavy competition, there will always be this disparity between men and women until we are able to tinker with testosterone at, or before it begins it's influence depicted in this video. Until then I'm afraid women will remain in the minority in this arena. No amount of legislation, or PC coercion is ever going to change this reality. No more than legislation and PC has ever been able to change the sexual make up of either gender. It may be hidden, rationalized, or spun, but it won't change the reality.
As to how I measure up in this video. People that don't know me won't believe this, but I am very empathetic depending on the situation, or circumstances. I would have gone to the authorities, or asked the aid of a woman in the case of the 8 year old.
The reason that so many men have so much trouble in their relationships with women, be it platonic, or romantic is that they have never been motivated to understand them in the first place. And conditioning plays a part in that as well.
But I have spent my entire teen, and adult life doing that very thing. Consequently I understand women more than most men, and women that get to know me realize it and appreciate it. So my real success in always having many female contacts and relationships on at least two different levels all boils down to the desire to understand, and then actively seeking the knowledge. And lest I forget honesty, even when it is not to my advantage to be so. Women see this. No one has to tell them. It makes you stand out, and it's what they want from men the most, if for no other reason than there aren't many men that have it to offer, or even give a damn. Women are very savvy as a rule. They can tell when a man is sincere, or just telling them what they want to hear.
Now my contradictions are as follows. I loath sports, and mechanics, and always have. My parents bought me all cars and trucks one Xmas. It so ruined it for me they never made that mistake again. One other time my ex bought me all tools. That flat out made me livid. I wanted tools about as much as I wanted another ass hole. And my ex of all people should have known that. Or that's how I thought at the time.
I also have no sense of direction. I can think in rights, lefts, and landmarks, but not north, south, east, and west, and I stop to get directions all the time, and frequently multiple times to make sure I don't end up in another god damn state to get a pack of cigarettes. ;-)
I can drive across country with little problem, but in town, forget it.
I like teenagers, but hate babies. I absolutely can't stand to hear a baby cry. Even on TV I have to mute it. I have no desire to change diapers, and get no enjoyment out of holding the mustered shitting little rug rats. I'm sorry that's just the way it is. I was at least smart enough not to have kids.
I also like children that are younger if they are advanced socially and/or intellectually.
Teenagers are my favorite because I can readily empathize with them, and many of them haven't been irrevocably corrupted by the ignorance of their adult caregivers. They in turn treat me like one of there own. If all you heard were the voices you couldn't tell me from the kids in a room. This also gives me the advantage that they will listen to me when they generally don't listen to, or respect most, if not all of the adults in their lives, and for good reason I might add. Treat a teenager like a teenager and he, or she immediately senses the condescension and you are essentially written off, until at least they have more years and experience in their lives to give you the benefit of the doubt. Exert your parental guidance prudently and make sure you have a reason based, not an emotional agenda for doing so. If they want goth let em' have it. If they want piercings, long hair, baggy pants etc etc, loosen your damned sphincters, and try to remember your own childhood and what you did when challenged by an adult. Eight times out of ten unless you were genetically predisposed to conformity you became more of what they wanted you to stop, and became even more stealthy, and blocked the adult authorities out of your environment almost entirely if possible. So if you want that give them a ration of shit about much to do about little. And shortly before, but no longer than on the day your girls bleed, get them on the pill, and shelve your anal, religiously conditioned view of sex. If they want to have sex, or smoke you cannot, I repeat you cannot stop them. But you can help them in not having a 15 year old pregnancy, or younger. Get a reality check and just do it. If you look around there are more people that got married too young because they were pregnant, than the other way around. Learn from history if you don't want to repeat it.
Well I digressed as usual. But you're all used to that by now.
