Art School: A Rant

Today is officially the first day of winter.
It's 28 degrees outside, however, with the wind chill factor, it's about 20.
It's snowing.
Not the pleasant fluffy kind.
But the kind of snow that stings your face.

I'm also having second thoughts about this whole "art school thing".
While I realize that it is one of the best in the world,
it's totally rubbing me the wrong way.
Almost everyone is some demented leftist freak.
When I tell them I'm an Israeli citizen,
they look at me like I'm some kind of monster.

The things I hear on a daily basis.....
Yeah, the Jews are behind the intifada in Paris.
Yeah, the Jews are behind the bombing in Jordan.
Yeah, the Jews were behind 9/11.
Yeah, okay, buddy.

I get the feeling that they don't read much.
Or know ANY history, for that matter.

I'm *almost* over it.
Hopefully, next time this year,
I will be back in Jerusalem.

Taken in Bergen...which one do you prefer?

I layered the black & white version on top of the color, set the opacity to 40% and saturated the color a bit. I think the sky might be too blue.

Saturated a bit more

FINALLY

a productive weekend...
1. i registered for 15 credits
a. very different then undergrad in that one class is 6 whole credits
b. there are only 6 people in my program...
2. i found an appartment and signed the lease, i move july 1st
a. it's one block away from lincon park athletic club, the el, the
dog park, starsucks, various restaurants and bars
b. it's rather small but has a steam shower/jacuzzi so i can't complain.

*now it's time to smoke a blunt and chillax=P

** yeah i know my lists are getting redundant and lame
