New bills on the horizon
Current mood: anxious
Category: News and Politics
Hey Guys & Gals,
News alert: SC has bills at the State House to limit ATV access in SC. One is a copy of the one in NC which was a copy of one in Virginia. Virginia, according to AMA, has a new bill that limits 12 and under to 70 cc or less motorcycles and 16 to 13 to 90 cc and under! We need to contact our legislators and tell them NO!!! The poo goes down stream and we are down stream from Virginia. Bikes are down stream from ATVs. Are you going to wait until it is law or start shouting now? NC riders...start screaming now and SC riders do your part too. If you need more information, email me and I will tell you where to confirm it and who to WRITE OR CALL! Stand up for your riding rights, it is never too early to start!

The biggest winner of the day was TNT Motorsports. Your continued support makes TNT the best practice park in the Carolinas. The staff and I wish you all a Happy New Year and pray that safe riding follows you where ever you ride.
Please remember the great sponsors by shopping with them when ever possible: FMF Apperal, Ready Filters, Cal-Graphics, Privateer Connection, Liquid Performance, Utopia Goggles, Cycle Gear, Moose Racing, Barr's Competition, Chad Watts, Hyperlite Wakeboards, The Markoff's - National RV Rentals, Joe Williams - JMX Racing & Sandy, Greg Cole - Southern Dirt Designs.
Special thanks to Bradley & Cindy Hogan, Crystal & Mark Foust, Vickie & Mike Turnall, Ron Hornaday, Diane & Keith Cates, Grace Stanley, Patrick Stanley & Jake Snow for all the volunteer work you do.
A Super Big Thanks goes to the staff of TNT. Folks, these guys & gal go way beyond employee requirements to make sure that TNT is here for you to come to and ride. John Baertlein, along with Jimmy Pittman are responsible for the tracks and general Park, Ian Baertlein part time also. Billy McWatters, Rick Miller and Amber Glenn share the Concessions and Sign-in responsibilities. They give up their New Year's Eve & New Year's Day to make sure everything goes as well as it can. Thank you my friends. Ross Bell volunteers every week end to fix what ever from a flat to picking you up when you break. Thank you for being there.
Every year I evaluate the day and make changes for the next year. This year I saw the need for major change and will work on a plan to serve the people that ride at TNT. Stay tuned for my decisions, feel free to make constructive, reasonable, do-able suggestions. Remember, the more you ride at TNT, the better TNT will get, it can only continue to get better.
Many thanks and Happy New Year

Jake the Friday Airboy!
Current mood: busy
Category: News and Politics
Jake took a tumble on the Extreme Jump on Friday and was airlifted to CMC. His parents report that even after a few cracked ribs and the "snot" knocked out of him that Jake is ready to ride. Thanks to wearing all the right safety gear, Jake will be released Saturday morning after a really expensive ride on a copter! He told me I was right, they wouldn't let him look out the window! Stay tuned folks, he vows to return and jump that Jump 2 weeks from today!

TNT Rules
Current mood: crushed
Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes
Once again today, it was brought to my attention that some riders feel that rules are for the other guy and not for them!
Wrong......
Rules at TNT Motorsports are posted and a copy given to you when you arrive. Please be aware that there is a zero tolerance policy at TNT, best friend or never met you before. If you do not like to be called on it...
DO NOT BREAK THE RULES!!
The main rules to keep in mind...
5 mph in parking areas and all corriders leading to the entrance to a track or trail.
DO NOT CUT THE TRACKS..(Ride around a jump or practice one section) drainage and safety make that impossible action.
Ride tracks designed and marked for your type bike or ATV.
Do not go off trails.
Wear your helmet strapped to your head.
Yes, there are other rules but these are on top of the list. Owning and operating a park is hard work, 7 days a week and way more than 8 hours a day. Please encourage me to keep this park open by following the rules and stopping rule breakers. If you do not want to stop them yourself, tell me and I will without ever bring your name into the mix. With your support, TNT will be here for your next riding adventure, help yourself by helping me.
