TOBY KEITH TO RELEASE A CLASSIC CHRISTMAS
Holiday Favorites Collection On Two-Disc Set On October 16

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Show Dog Nashville, the full-service record label owned and operated by entertainer Toby Keith, will release the singer's first holiday album in more than a decade this fall. The two-disc A Classic Christmas features Keith's renditions of traditional yuletide favorites.

Produced by Keith and Grammy winner Randy Scruggs, the set offers tasteful retellings of beloved favorites including "White Christmas," "Silver Bells" and "The Christmas Song" – all framed by Toby's warm, distinctive vocal stylings.
 
"There's a reason people gravitate to these songs year after year, and I'm no exception," Keith says. "I wouldn't have considered making another Christmas record, if not for the fact that I hadn't done any of these the first time around. And doing a double disc set let us go back and get just about all the big ones."
 
His 1995 release Christmas To Christmas was marked by fresh compositions, many of them penned by Keith. For A Classic Christmas, however, the set list covers a most hallowed holiday's most hallowed ground.

TOBY KEITH RELEASES NEW SINGLE “HIGH MAINTENANCE WOMAN” ON FEBRUARY 12

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Toby Keith charges into 2007 with a new single and outstanding sales for his Broken Bridges DVD and accompanying soundtrack.  His soon-to-be-released kick-ass song, "High Maintenance Woman," is classic-Toby-Keith and set for release on February 12th. 

The accomplished singer, songwriter and entertainer's feature film debut Broken Bridges earned high praise for his charismatic performance. And in the movie's first week of release as a DVD, it's drawing even more meaningful approval from consumers.

Broken Bridges sales exploded at major retail stores across the country and online in its first week of DVD release, and on top of that ignited a 123% increase in soundtrack sales.  The album lands at #6 on the Country album chart, having climbed up from #74 in the past 5 weeks.

A snapshot of this explosive week is provided by CMT.com, where the DVD and soundtrack CD are both the No. 1 sellers. Additionally, the video for the film's centerpiece song "Broken" is in the top 5 most streamed videos.

"Broken Bridges has been a terrific inaugural project for CMT Films, " says Brian Philips, executive vice president and general manager, CMT.  "From its huge ratings success on CMT, to its remarkable DVD sales stats, Broken Bridges has been a breakout hit for CMT's audience."

Continuing success for Broken Bridges is a fitting start to '07 for Keith, who is coming off a year that saw him as the most played artist at Country radio, according to Nielsen BDS. His 12th career platinum album, "White Trash With Money," spawned hits like "Get Drunk And Be Somebody," "A Little Too Late" and "Crash Here Tonight.

And the new year looks just as promising, with  his Ford Truck-sponsored Hookin' Up & Hangin' Out Tour continuing its standing-room-only run. The tour starts Jan. 25 in Albany, NY, with Miranda Lambert, Flynnville Train and Lindsey Haun on the bill.

Since the turns of the century Keith's songs have spent a year at No. 1 on the singles charts, he has sold 30 million CDs in career sales, and he's one of the most awarded artists in any genre as a singer, songwriter and entertainer.

Celebrity Golf Tournament Draws Oklahoma's Best In Music & Sports

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Now in its third year, the Toby Keith & Friends Golf Classic has become quite a gathering of national and Oklahoma sports and music figures. This year's event, set for May 21 and 22 in and around Oklahoma City, will be no different.

Among the celebrities already confirmed are basketball greats Mookie Blalock and Johnny Bench and Olympic gold medalists Bart Connor and Shannon Miller as well as Doug Sauder, head coach of the Oklahoma City Blazers. Musical celebrities include singer and songwriter Tony Joe White, singer Tim Rushlow and country legend Johnny Lee.

Also participating are several Oklahoma University and Oklahoma State University standouts including former OSU and Major League Baseball player Mickey Tettleton, former OU and NFL quarterback Josh Heupel, former OSU and MLB player Jim Traber, former OU and Miami Dolphins player Uwe Von Schamann, OU women's basketball coach Sherri Coale, OU baseball coach Sunny Golloway, former OU and Dallas Cowboys star defensive tackle Tony Casillas, and OU football coaches James Patton, Bobby Jack Wright, Cale Gundy, Kevin Wilson, Chris Wilson, Kevin Sumlin and Merv Johnson.

The event opens Sunday evening with a dinner, musical performance and silent auction. Monday, teams of five participants plus one of the above personalities will compete in a scramble style golf tournament in Norman, OK. Each golfer will be eligible to win a Ford F-150. The winner of the truck will be determined by a closest-to-the-pin contest that will run concurrently with the tournament.

It's all to the benefit of Ally's House, a non-profit charity named for the late Allison Webb, the daughter of Keith's friend and former band mate Scott Webb. Ally's House offers assistance to families of young children struggling with pediatric cancer. Ally died in August, 2003, one month shy of her third birthday after developing a form of kidney cancer. In her memory, the organization helps with medical expenses, travel, financial needs and other forms of support. www.allyshouse.net
