The Black American Nationalist Flag is symbolic of the unity among Christians and the Islamic Faith. The Red Multi-symbol is a collaboration of the Crescent Moon and Crucifixion Cross -- the symbol of sacrifice. When separated down the middle, it forms two Gallows mirroring each other (an instrument used to hang blacks whom opposed authority). The multi-symbol expresses a large part of Black America's foundation and spiritual convictions. It also resembles the Ankh which signifies eternal life. In retrospect, the Black American Nationalist Flag represents unity among people of color who have experienced Black America (the Good and Bad – whether emotional, psychologically, or financially) and who can identify B.A.N.'s importance to our history and future.
In order for blacks to overcome its adversities we must accept diversity and embrace each other no matter what the cost. We must B.A.N. together as one. We must B.A.N. all unjust acts of persecution and prosecution. Let us support more black-owned businesses, become positive role models for the young and old. Take the time to police your own neighborhoods for drugs, drug dealers, drug users, violence and sexual misconduct, and many other situations that plague our community. Blacks have made more than enough sacrifices for America, voluntary and involuntary. Join the B.A.N. movement if you want change in Black America and become a Black American Nationalist.
