The Road House on Six Show.
Current mood: exhausted
I would like to thank the Road House on Six, and all of the Chicago comedians who came out. I would also like thank Jillian Art Photography.com for taking pictures all night long. Most importantly, I would like to thank all of my friends, family, and fans of comedy for joining us. It was great to see a sold out house in Channahon. Thanks again, Tony Carr

So my website is posted on this website, that is not in English....... It appears that people are ranking it. I was hoping one of you guys could read what people have posted, and translate. This is a great oppertunity to fuck with me.... You could come back and say that it is a gay website, and all of the comments are about my ass.... or you could say that it is a website run by Nazi's and I'm on their hit list....
Now that I have covered the ways to fuck with me.... Could you please help me out. Thanks, Here is the link.

Let me first say that all comics, including myself, want to be recognized for what we do.... In fact, I would say that deep down, that is a big part of why we do it. I remember the first time I was recognized, I thought that my friends were playing a joke on me. She had seen me in San Francisco, I was in a bar in Modesto..... She wanted pictures.... it was very flattering.... Even though, she didn't know my name.... She called me "The Baby Gap Guy".... regardless, it was very flattering....
That being said.... There is something very comforting about doing shows for strangers....... or just randoms...... On the other side of that coin, I get very uncomfortable when I'm doing a show in front of someone who really knows me. I don't know if is the fear of messing up and looking stupid, or if it is the fact that some of my jokes lean towards the "messed up" side of the fence. Friday I am doing a show in Channahon....... There will be several people in the audience who have known me for years, and years. I am expecting both friends and family........ It will be interesting... Cross your fingers for me.
Below are the show details. Tony
The Road House on Six is hosting Comedy Night on 11-07-08 Be There.
Stealing from the Dead... This makes me FUCKING Sick.
Current mood: disgusted

Sam Kinison is one of my strongest influnces. I admired the fact that he had his own style... he was funny.... and he actually had something to say. His comedy is just as funny now as it was back in the eighties. Think about how amazing that is. It is very hard to write good comedy...... Carlos Mencia wouldn't know.... Here is another example of him stealing.... This time he is stealing from the dead. The late, great Sam Kinison.
Carlos, You fucking piece of repeating shit..... How can you live with yourself. It makes me sick that you are getting richer and richer stealing from those who worked their asses off to be entertaining. Enjoy the money.... because you get so respect.
Paper or Plastic (Joke)

Have you ever given a women such a good orgasm,
that she hyperventilated?
I have.
So Ladies, If you man puts a paper bag over your head,
Don't be insulted,
It is just a precaution.
On the other hand,
if he insists on plastic,
you might have a problem on your hands.
Tickets are available for the November 7th show at the Road House. Check out the line up and buy tickets at www.TonyCarrComedy.com or call (800) 838-3006
A friend of mine, and fellow Chicago Comic (Jack Calhoun) has made a movie. Please take the time to check out the trailer..... Let me know what you think.
If you got an email, or anything else from me yesterday..... that didn't seem like it would come from me... Well you were right. I was phished. Which means some asshole took over my myspace. Whoever did it sent out emails telling people that I saw their myspace page on a different website. If you were a victim of this, and went to the website that they told you about, I suggest you change your password. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
I watch so much porn, I now get turned on by bad acting.
I think that is why the Hanna Montana show is so popular!
What do you guys think of the new joke. My friends at work haaaated it!
ps. The Vertigo shows are now more. I believe it was in both of our best interests to part ways when we did. The next Venue is right around the corner.... Keep an eye on my blog.
Vertigo Lounge Shows Fridays.

Maxum Comedy Night is over
Current mood: accomplished
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers
I'm sorry to announce that the Maxum shows have been cancelled. I got the call today. The last few shows haven't had good crowds, so they decided to drop the show. We did over four months of weekly shows there, so I am proud of what was accomplished. He had nights that we killed there.... and others that we had to work for it. Either way, Maxum was a great time.
Maxum treated the comics, the comics friends, and myself great..... I enjoyed every show. I hope in the future I will be able to work together again. I know for sure, that I will at least be dropping by Maxum every now and again, for a drink or two.
Thanks you to everyone who came out to Maxum. Your support means the world to me. Don't forget, several of the shows pictures are still posted on my website.
"Take care of yourself, and take care of someone else" George Carlin
Current mood: bummed
Category: Life
As I'm sure you all know by now, George Carlin has died. I am almost ashamed to admit that I never went to see him live. I watched him as I grew up..... and I admired how bold he was. He was this guy all alone on a stage, filled with anger, sometime sadness, but somehow he made everyone laugh. Many comics put on an angry face on stage.... I believe that with Carlin, he meant it. I think that is part of what made him so funny...... You could see that behind all the bullshit to get laughs he really had something to say. Carlin's comedy was very smart, and bold. He made you think. He will be missed, and the world of comedy will never be the same.
Highland Park Comedy Festival
Current mood: stressed
Category: Jobs, Work, Careers
Ok, so here's the deal.... I will be preforming in the Highland Park Comedy Festival tonight at 8:30 pm. It is the first round of a comedy contest. I was asked about doing this show months ago, but never got the details..... I was made aware of it last night, when the host of my show said, "You can catch Tony Carr tomorrow night in Highland Park." So my point is, I'm in a contest that I haven't advertised for. I will be getting stomped, unless you guys decide you can't let that happen, and come out to support me. I know, begging is unattractive. Also, show is being recorded for Chicago TV. I will also be recording my set (the beating). Thanks again, Tony
