Unlikely pairing !

It warms the heart when pop stars that are living the high life can do something charitable together. Taking advantage of both bands' extreme popularity, Green Day and U2 will be entering the studio together to record a cover of the Scottish punk classic "The Saints Are Coming", a track originally recorded by The Skids in 1978. All proceeds from the song will benefit an organization co-founded by The Edge called Music Rising.
The idea behind the group is to help replace instruments that musicians lost during Hurricane Katrina.

I caught him licking soap today. A good ole mouth full of Jergen's Mild.
Reminds me of that scene in A Christmas Story. But eating soap is supposed to be punishment.

Have I sold out ?

Or am I just lazy. I joined Netflix today. I hate the fact that I'm letting little ma and pa shops like The Video Fan down. They are an excellent source of hard to find cult films. Things I won't find at Netflix. But returning a rented DVD within 24 hours is a hassle. So I guess that's why I sold out.

yeah blog problems

This may continue until I get a new computer . What bothers me is that I can't put security on my blog anymore.

Here are some things I meant to post about but couldn't.

1) K-Fed on Teen Choice awards. I tuned into the last half hour of Teen Choice just to see how dreadfully bad Kevin Federline was going to be when he just the stage to perfrom a number off of his upcoming CD. I laughed so hard my sides hurt. He was soooo bad that he made Vanilla Ice look like The Beastie Boys. He is the biggest poor white trash DJ jazzy trevor I have ever seen.
Remember that Snow guy who did that song "Informer" in the early 90's. He made that prick look like a grammy winner. It awful that we have to put up with this prick who is riding on the coat tails of his wife's nose diving plane.

2) Emmy wins for 24 and The Office. After 5 season Keifer finnaly got his best acting emmy.
He was beginning to look like the Susan Lucie of prime time. Plus Conan kicked ass as the host like we all knew he would.

3) Leaving Drum Bum. After months of waiting I finally got a job offer that would bring an end to my stint as a CSR for the internet gift shop. It was a graceful parting as the bossman took us all out to lunch. I will miss those people but I won't miss the work and the lack of benefits.

broken blog

I apologise to anyone who has tried to place comments to my blog.
For some reason I can't accept comments anymore as I can't post blogs without typing them in an alternate program. I'm bummed about this. Hoping I find a lead on how to fix it.

Dangling around ...
Current mood: amused

I was watching "My Name Is Earl" the other night and Earl and his brother were trapped in abandoned water tower with nothing to eat but a single candy bar. While is this situation ... Earl and his bro broke into singing "Believe It or Not" the theme to an early 80's TV show The Greatest American Hero. What a vague reference ... what a blast from the past.
I noticed myself singing along.
