Town Bike are looking for a new Drummer...
Category: Music
Hey everyone. Yep, it's nearly time for Charlie to leave, so we're looking for a new drummer. He's off to spend a year in South America, but the bike will remain rocking in the UK!!! We're looking for someone who reckons they can fill Charlie's shoes, even if it's just for a year. Ideally you will be fit, and have guns like Charlie's but if you don't meet these requirements, feel free to send us a message anyway - Maybe you'll have something special that we didn't even realise we needed!!! Our album is due for release in October, so you will have to be free to tour then. Check out our songs, and see if Town Bike is something you'd be interested in!!!

Stuff about Sarah...
Current mood: amused
My name's Sarah and I do the job of lead vocals in Town Bike. My favourite colour is a toss up between navy blue and pink ( I can never decide - Although I do have more navy blue clothes than pink ones, so I guess it's navy blue). My favourite music type stuff lately is: Busted, McFly, Take That, My Chemical Romance, Eels, Save Ferris and Helen Love - There are so many things I listen to, I could indeed go on forever! Other things that I love are Hello Kitty, High School Musical, brightly coloured shoes and bags. When I'm not in Town Bike, I'm studying for a drama degree. I can't cook, but I don't mind washing up. I dance even though I can't, and every now and then I say something that people don't like. I can't wait to go on tour with Town Bike, it will be the funnest thing ever! Want to know more? Just ask...

Razorcake Review
Current mood: sleepy
TOWN BIKE: When Good Kids Go Bad: 7" Poppy punk from Liverpool. The lead vocalist could probably use a little more conviction in her delivery, but otherwise these kids ain't bad. –Jimmy Alvarado (www.myspace.com/townbike)

Probe Records, Slater Street
Okay, so our ep should've been available from hmv as well, but the big wigs at head office have made it literally impossible for us to sell our ep there, but the good news is that our saviours Probe Records are still selling it - And it's selling really well. If you do want a copy of our ep, and can't make it to one of our gigs, pop into Probe on Slater Street, Liverpool, and buy a copy from one of the guys for £2.99. It's a total bargain. 4 tracks on 7" vinyl, with a CDR of all the tracks to. Plus you get a lyric sheet, and some kick ass artwork. Do it, do it now....

Is the title of our forthcoming ep. We're so excited about it and can't wait for our launch gig, which is:
Saturday 13th October - Bar Fresa, Liverpool - 8pm.
We're putting on our very own 'Skool Disco', with four bands on and Dj's til 2am!!! Our new ep will also be available on 7" vinyl for £2.50 We haven't sorted out the door price yet, but whatever it is, you get in a quid cheaper if you're wearing school uniform - Plus, the first 50 people through the door recieve a party bag (wooooo)!!!
Do come down 'cause it's gonna be lots of fun. When we get more news, we'll make sure you know. See you on the 13th!!! |
