tattoo stories

i went on a vacation to LA with a couple friends. a girlfriend and i were joking that we should get tattooed while in LA and trying to come up with a good "LA" tattoo. palm trees..etc....so fo some reason later that night i thought...aww unicorn head...yea...and since i like severed head tattoos (?) and i already have one on my arm...i thought...yea severed unicorn head. then when we were at the rainbow room this crazy drunk rock guy was screaming twisted sister at us and talking about kiss...and that his heaven is fireplaces, pussy and puppies..then started yelling....rape the horses and ride the women "tonight we ride". i got the tattoo the next day....a different girlfriend got another version of it below her elbow...and the girl i was on the vacation with is suppose to get it, but she doesnt have many tattoos.....

my roommate and i created the "boy" version with a severed wolf head and a banner that reads "bark at the moon" another friend of ours just got that one too. sweet.

traditional american tattoos

if you have a love of tradtional american tattoo art, please join and share your collections! Artists are welcome as well as collectors!

Here's a couple of things I should clear up about this group:
I myself am not a tattoo artist, nor is this club for a particular studio. I am a collector and fan of the style, so that's why i started this here club.

Feel free to post comments on here, but KEEP THEM TO TATTOO RELATED SUBJECTS. No band stuff or any of that crap. TATTOO STUFF ONLY!

(but keep it TRADITIONAL, please! there are other groups for non traditional stuff!)

If you are an artist thats on the road, POST YOUR DATES/SHOPS HERE so someone in that area can check you out!
