SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR TRIAD

WELCOME TO TRIAD PUBLISHING GROUP SUBMISSION PACKET REQUIREMENTS ***Please include all of these in the order listed.*** - Genre (please choose one and state in subject line)
- Action/Adventure
- Mystery/Suspense
- Horror
- Romance/Erotica
- Non-fiction
- Fantasy/Sci Fi
- Juvenile
- General Fiction
- Specialty books like curricula, workbooks, or activity books
- Age group (please choose one and state in subject line)
- Kids (ages infant - 8)
- Chapter books (emerging readers ages 5 - 8)
- Tween (ages 9 - 13)
- Teen (ages 13 - 18)
- Adult (ages 18 +)
- Query letter, including author information – one page or less
- Brief synopsis no more than 1-2 pages
- Full manuscript
- Full manuscript for kids' board books and picture books, and children's poetry paginated for layout.
- Name, email, address, and telephone number with area code.
***MANUSCRIPTS:
Microsoft Word, .doc format or Rich Text Format (.rtf) [not .docx or any other format]; Double spaced; One inch margins left and right; Pages numbered; Times New Roman or Arial with 12pt font;
Children's picture books should be formatted for pagination (tell us if there are illustrations, but do not include illustrations for the first reading).
***Before submitting, please make sure your manuscript is correct for English grammar, punctuation, language usage, sentence structure, dialogue structure, continuity, and has been read by at least one other person. ***Authors may submit only one book manuscript at a time. Multiple submissions of manuscripts in a single email will be returned to the author.
Submissions will be returned if the above requirements are not met.

TRIAD’s Poetry Expressions now Taking Submissions for their Love & Romance Poetry Anthology

Express yourself in our latest poetry anthology featuring the theme of love and romance. Curl up with your pen and daydream your thoughts to us for publication.

Poetry Anthology - Love & Romance Submissions Deadline: OCTOBER 15, 2008 - No more submissions will be accepted after this date. Submissions are now being accepted by poets from around the world. You will retain all of the rights to your poem.
Submission Guidelines:
1. FORM- Any form is acceptable, with the exception of anything offensive. Submissions with vulgar language, attacks on any race, creed or religion will not be considered. Additionally, due to the wide audience this book will reach, overly explicit material will not be accepted. 2. LINE LIMIT – Please limit the amount of lines to no more than 30 lines. 3. NUMBER OF SUBMISSIONS: You may submit up to five (5) poems for publication.
4. RIGHTS - The work must be your own and by submitting your entry for inclusion you hereby acknowledge that you own all of the rights to the poem.
5. GRAMMAR - It is up to you to make sure there are no spelling errors, typos and/or grammatical errors in your work. What you submit will be published in a book. Prior to submitting, please proofread your work. Triad Publishing Group will not perform any editing to anthology submissions.
6. TITLE - Make sure your poem is titled. "Untitled" submissions cannot be accepted.
7. ABOUT THE AUTHOR - At the end of your poem, write a short paragraph about yourself and what inspired you to write the poem. This paragraph will be published on the page next to your poem. Your paragraph must be no more than six (6) sentences.
NOTE: IF YOU DO NOT ADHERE TO ALL OF THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES, YOUR WORK WILL NOT BE INCLUDED.

What is 'The Ghost Under Third Base? Willie, who skips two grades and is still the smartest kid in his class, doesn't have friends, until he meets Huby, a strange kid who always seems to be around when weird things happen. Together they explore the possibility that Willie's favorite hide-out may be haunted. Willie comes up a great idea for a class project to benefit the town, a baseball field. This gets him new friends, but the idea may fall apart because there is a ghost under third base. How Willie, Huby, and his friends solve the problem is a fun, fantasy adventure story that tween boys and girls will enjoy.
