Waxing moon, second quarter in Capricorn-today we worry about life on the homefront, and may actually have issues at home. Feelings are very strong. They can be feelings of love, or feelings of neglect. They only intensify as the day goes on. Don't try to think of the right words to say. Just talk about the feeling itself, otherwise it all just becomes a mess.

Please don’t fall for psychic scams......

There are so many of us out there who sincerely try to help people. Some, like me, have a psychology degree, and training. We add that to the mix, we do hands on healing (every reiki session I have done so far has been for no charge), and other things like helping those with hauntings. We are trained in many aspects and understand the whole picture.

Then you have the scammers.

If you hear any of the following...run like the wind:

You have a curse/black cloud/ ball of negative energy that needs to be cleared away....

Send me $xxxx and I will promise to:

clear negativity
cleanse your aura
remove your curse
bring your lover back
give you the winning lottery numbers
cure your disease
I am 100% accurate

I need $xxx because:

my house burned down
my husband left me
my child is sick
I was robbed
I need medical test and can't afford them

Be wary of.."I am 19th generation superpsychic"..

who cares....it doesn't make you good at what you do.

***********

You get the picture. A psychic should be giving you information, helping you find your path, showing you options and what will happen if you take them, AND NOTHING ELSE...

NOT taking money out of your pocket without giving you a real service...

If a psychic threatens you in anyway, or tries to make you feel guilty....RUN!

There is no curse. You can clean your own aura (they are REALLY hard to get to a point where they need attention by the way!!!). You are not responsible for the financial health of your advisor!

Some folks feel that real psychics shouldn't be paid...really? Who will put a roof over their heads. They should NOT however, rip you off.  We need to eat, pay bills, and have a place to live too.

Psychics should not be sucking money out of your pocket to make their own lives extravagant. The Universe provides. I give away readings, minutes, reiki treatments from time to time. But not always. I am self supporting and living comfortably, though far from extravagantly. I have what I need, and if there is something I want, I ask the Universe to help provide it. My car is 10 years old, but it gets me everywhere I need to go. I do not just spend, spend, spend , and then scramble looking for ways to pay those bills...

Use a psychic as you would any other professional ...do not become an addict, and do not send out money to people just because they ask for it.

My favorite scam I had personally, was I went to a reader and she told me if I didn't give her $35,000 she would lose her power.Guess she lost her power.....

Live your life with compassion for others, but with a brain in your head. Not everyone is honest in this world, unfortunately. Don't let emotion make you spend, spend, spend.....

And to answer a frequently asked question...A psychic is not necessarily a Medium. Mediums can easily and quickly, directly communicate with loved ones who have passed. They have a conversation with that person as if they were talking to any live person. Mediums are not alwasy psychic. They cannot predict. Some people are psychic/mediums and can do both well, but that is VERY VERY VERY rare.

Go to a psychic for future information...go to a Medium to talk to those who have passed!

ENJOY the day!

Kronia- To honor the god Kronos in ancient Greece. His symbol is a scythe, and he was originally an agricultural god. There was a large festival in his honor during the September full moon also. He is not the personification of time , but a diety of crops and nature.Chronos is the "time" god.

Thanks Bother Matthew

My brother Matt took me to Olive Garden for my birthday....granted that was a few days ago ( my birthday that is), but this is the first time we both had "time". I LOVE the Olive Garden. As always , I felt guilty leaving my clients, but the OG is just to much temptation.....so off we went.

Well , just to let me know it was OK to take some time off..we waited and Matt played with the cutest little 18 month old strawberry blonde in the foyer...then it was busy and our waiter took a bit of time to get to us. Then he brought the main entree before the appitizers came...the entree was wrong...brought that back ( I am laughing and telling this poor waiter..NO PROBLEM the whole time....because I GET IT). Then the everything comes out all piping hot.

Had to have tiramisu ( I think I could actually hurt someone to get their tiramisu), and it was delicious.......(only kidding about the hurting part, but don't try to take mine!)

I get it...take more time off. I am constantly growing my business and have to know that is a GOOD THING..However.....

That's OK because I have some things planned, and I will make sure I plan more. Some are events with like minded (insert strange or out there), folks at my house who wouldn't blink an eye if I took a few moments to stop do a reading.....

They will be rewarded when I make them margaritas......

It all works out in the end.

The message of the day..stop and smell the roses ( or drink the margaritas).

ENJOY LIFE!

We are in school, but we do get recess...and be VERY kind to the folks who work with the public. Their life is hell. Most people they serve are HORRID, and they need a break!!

Now , go and have some fun...oh and by the way...yes I did work all day today up til dinner time......

Love & Light

July 13 ALMANAC- OBON

July 13-

Festival of the Three Cows (Spain)

Every time words are spoken, something is created. Be conscious of what you say and how you say it. Use words that build up, appreciate, encourage and inspire.
Lucy MacDonald

Waxing moon, second quarter in SCORPIO, moves to Sagitarius at 11:50AM- The moon shift makes a big difference today. Early we don't know how to out those deep and sometimes strange emotions into words, as the moon shifts, we do. They are more clear to us, and we know how to express them better. Please always remember that the person you are expressing to is someone with their own feelings, thoughts, desires, and needs.

Obon Festival begins-(Japan) A Buddhist festival to honor the departed souls who return to earth at this time. It is also called the Festival of the Lanterns, because the colorful paper lanterns which decorate the festival ground light the way for the ancestors to return.  This Buddhist custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. When the sould are due to return, they are given food offerings, accompanied by a silent dance.

Bon Odori Dancers (August 2004 at Imazu Primary School in Osaka)

Spirits with no relatives are honored with little boats bearing paper lanterns which are set afloat on the Tide of Returning Ghosts to drift out to sea.
