Willow
Category: Writing and Poetry

under a willow tree
planted
unknowingly seeded
in the local fair's
cheap toys
and prizes
of darts and ducks
and motley crue
glass plates
for dimes
and my
dollar...

a poverty stricken clown
juggles children's
anticipatory glees
with costumentory delight
of sickentry
that suburbia
never fully explained
with the exception
of realization
of a dollar store
shelf addition
to a grandmother's frog
collection...

stardust or fallen stars
in the northern atmosphere
however unknown
to your mesosphere
yet utilized
like the all American
teddy bear
upon the realistic delusion
that there are many more
than any stratosphere
can offer us...

a holistic offering
of infidelity
of a woman's womb
crouched
in a damp
corner
minisculey imprinted
in the dollar and dime
store
of the river of
insane insecurity...

i want to summon
a dark memory
of any shadow
that nature's reflection
willingly masks
from the acknowledgable sun
of laymen
our sun
any sun
that you and I create...

i found a pine cone
of grooves separated
with
unrealized artistic value
that nature
blindly bestows
individually
in a river
of backwards
strokes
that our world
their world
uknown worlds
taunt the willow...

i passionately
await
a single leaf
to beckon my face
with light
of your reflection
whether in darkness
or the sun's
eclipse
of
hope.

Unlucky 6th Graders - by Cody
Category: Writing and Poetry

Unlucky 6th graders,

As you are aware, you will be in 7th grade this year. I am Cody Hawken and wish to inform you of possible misconceptions that you might have of this year.  Some kids think they can slack, and that is one thing I'll tell you not to do in this letter.  Read and I'll tell you many more facts about 7th grade.
Some things you will be facing this year are disliking of teachers, loss of homework, and being tardy.  As a current 8th grader I will inform you to suck up to your teachers.  If you have an attitude you go straight out of the room, so be well behaved during class.  Another thing is being tardy.  If you have 3 tardies, you have an automatic detention.  One more thing I wish to inform you about is your home work.  It is important to have your homework at all times.  It is also good to stay organized so you can find your homework.  Those are some misfortunes of 7th grade.
I hope you have a wonderful year and use my tips to get you out of a laugh situation.  Hope you have fun sucking up to teachers.

Good luck,

Cody Hawken

Sketch
Category: Writing and Poetry

Written around a decade ago, just discovered in a small notebook, those lovely things, and found the rest of The Willow, will try typing it up tomorrow, it seems inconclusive without it, long days.. and am sure more in this notebook and others, discovered numerous ones through today's journey.  Will read as well in the morning, been working around ten hours a day..

Sketch

If I were an Artist
I would sketch
the face of a Woman's
lips pressed
downwards
toward the sandy bottoms
awaiting her footprints.

Bound
Category: Writing and Poetry

As
the thick black arm
drew inwards
to my throat
forcing oxygen out,
I proclaimed
agression doesn't do it
nor does the cock
seeking passage
in the ass.

Although
you claim
with a sincerity tone
a desire to be held,
I know the falsity
tone pounding inward
stronger.

If this
is self-security
for you,
best of luck,
you're bound
to be fucked
"really good".

Pussy Smack
Category: Writing and Poetry

He said my pussy talked,
which I interpret
as meaning
when it wrapped around
and pulsated the cock,
he said "it said:
fuck you".

I guess that is good,
it talks to me too
(although it is
an irrational cunt).

He felt it cum
which is "a rarity"
in our gender class,
but I am getting used to it..
too fucking much.

Just not
the gag reflex
when they try
to choke me
with their
dirty fucking hands.

Yes,
I believe it did say
Fuck You.

Unfastforwardable
Category: Writing and Poetry

They
(the ghostly bastards)
make you
question
your [in] stability.

I refuse
to give in
spread my legs
for re-growth,
an over-growth.

1. Fold laundry
2. Cook the poor woman's meal
3. Organize papers
4. Throw out the trash
5. and Masturbate

with my own precious
sane name
enunciated
on this torn
sewn together tongue.

Come back tomorrow,
you'll find the same
unfastforwardable.

The Asshole
Category: Writing and Poetry

I began
questioning myself,
are you a Racist?
prejudicial against fat fuckers?
using anyone?
etc.

Then
sat down
with a intellectual friend,
spilled it out:
I am still in love
with my last lover,
and don't know why.

"Regularity?"
"Yes, I think so."

These kinds
of self-questioning regimes
are I suppose a necessity,
yet necessities are never fun.

In conclusion,
I am not Racist
yet know where to draw
that line
(to not permit
a video
of being fucked
by a bastard,
the fact he's black
and fat
doesn't factor in).

But that same line
must coincide
with not questioning myself,
you gain self-respect and faith,
don't fucking lose it
for anyone.

"You are studying for the Bar,
you do not have time for dating drama."

I agree.

Celibacy is more satisfactory,
I have my own asshole to clean.

The Blade
Category: Writing and Poetry

I just
held a blade
to a beckoning throat,
who wouldn't
get the fuck out
of my space,
and I would do it again.

Just
(maybe)
not what
got me there
(I am human
as are they).

Final Words
Category: Writing and Poetry

Dear Cody and Hailey,

I want you both to know, you are

the smartest, most loving and respectful

Children I have ever known.

I know at times our lives are hard,

yet there are times, no matter how

sad I feel, I know we will always

have each other and that makes every

tomorrow brighter.

I regret not always having the patience

to show you through my actions, just

how much I love both of you, you are

my life.  I promise this long road of

struggle will soon end.  I have done

this for you because I want to give

you so much, including letting you know

just how special you both are,

as individuals, and as a part of this

family

I love you,

Mom

Wrote immediately prior to wreck which almost took my life, a parent's.  I did throw a surprise party as well, to let them know without their excellent behavior and assistance, I would never have became the Doctor I am.  It was laminated while I was in a coma, and these would have been my last words.  We should express more than we do of sincerity, always live tomorrow as tomorrow the last.

Kidnapping Children
Category: Writing and Poetry

"Our parents are passed out."
"Both?"
(Knowing the possibilities.)

With no other choice,
I tackle their bedroom door
with the Children behind me,
attempting to sneak up the stairs.

It opens,
and there is the dressed Husband,
telling the completely undressed Wife
to get out of my sight.

"It ain't nothing
she hasn't seen before."

So...

I stand in front of them both,
carrying on the necessary conversation
(without staring).

It's time to get home
with two extra Children tonight,
knowing
today I mattered.

Wings with Bridges
Category: Writing and Poetry

As Poets

we dissect:

every emotion
each possibility
right v. wrong

we create:

textures
shades of colors
invisible rays

we disintegrate:

hate
excuses
battery

and build:

Wings with bridges.

Starving Facts
Category: Writing and Poetry

You don't know shit
about Fortune,
until you find
comforting yourself
with starving "facts"
reasonable.

Such as:
you could use
a few pound weight loss
while serving your Child
food you salivate for,

with a smile on your face,
pissed off
that a glass of milk
as a meal substitute
isn't a possibility
in this ratio
of rations.

Summer Night
Category: Writing and Poetry

Pupils
see Winterish pine
discolored
by light flaring
from the expanding ball
of fire,

this sullen Summer night
of hopes
preparing to hollow
out Romantic remains,

as its baby soft knuckles
stroke the lips
of a Sinful Dreamer.

Ambidextrous
Category: Writing and Poetry

Walking around,
you all
are so unfamiliar
internally,
intentionally.

I won't say
I'm sorry,
because I'm not
a member
of your crap sampler.

It ain't
that I'm below
or on top
of you,
I'm ambidextrous.
