Shepherds The Weak, all-Filipino Metalcore act from Hong Kong is gracing us with their presence!

This July 25 at Ten02 Bar in Timog, they'll be throwing it down with local bands Typecast, Badburn, Intolerant, Piledriver and WitchTreeSymbol. It's gonna be a great show.

The next day, they'll be in Sta. Rosa Laguna with King Ly Chee, an excellent hardcore act also from Hong Kong.

TYPECAST IS OPENING FOR THURSDAY!

The year was 2001 when i was first introduced to Thursday. I was into a lot of Victory Records roster of artists. Two years prior to that, I was collecting cassette tapes & CDs like Snapcase, Strife, GreyArea, Grade, Reach the Sky, Catch22 and the likes - and Thursday, was one of the bands that triggered my attention to what seem to be the most vibrant record of all - Full Collapse. Paris in Flames, Cross out the Eyes & Understanding in a Car Crash had been the soundtrack of my life for more than a year, even covering some of these songs with a band where i was playing second guitar from way back. For me, the said album was an amazing record that sounded like a heavier version of Texas is the Reason and this is one of the factors that influenced me a lot, musically speaking.

When i first heard that Thursday is coming to our shores, my heartbeat went wild and i was almost dead to know that we will be sharing the same stage with them for 2 shows here in the Philippines. The people who brought you Shadows Fall & Darkest Hour - PULP Magazine will be organizing this event and we are very thankful to be considered to open for this influential band from North Brunswick, New Jersey. This will be a dream come true not only for me but i guess to a lot of Thursday fans of my generation as well.

Hey Everyone,

We're gonna have a taping for MYX Live episode this coming Sunday – February 24, 2008 at 5PM to 9PM... Wanna be a part of it? Yes you heard it right, 30 lucky listeners will get a chance to be part of our MYX Live Performance taping where you can sing with us for the whole set!  Isn't that great?!

So read carefully as we inform you guys of what you need to do.

We're so sorry for the short notice, MYX Live required us to have sort of a gimmick of random stuffs we want to set on the rounded stage as we tape our performance in front of cameras, well, we decided not to deal with fancy materials and just be raw and real.  That's why we're inviting our greatest friends over together with you guys who supported us since day one, this will be our way of thanking you guys – to be part of our set and to have fun singing along to our favourite songs.  Since it's gonna be inside a studio, we were bound to take in only 30 heads so that's why we're looking for 30 awesome individuals who's been a part of our journey and would like to support us to do this thing.

If you want to be part of this exciting event and you think you can belt out "Will You Ever Learn" at a drop of a hat, please do send us an email at typecastrock@gmail.com with your full name, location, mobile number &  maybe a little description of yourself and most importantly, why you love to be part of our MYX Live Performance.  Convince us why you should be seen on TV with us on that memorable night!
