purdue

woo soo i got into purdue. no big surprise there. they are giving me 9500 dollars in merit based scholarships just cuz im smart.  im not positive im going there but i think i might be able to go for freeee and thats quite tempting.

mulholland drive

so i just finished watchin mulholland drive, its a crazy movie. i started it like three days ago, watched half and lost interest. however a little past halfway through the movie the director starts fuckin with your head. he takes everything youve seen so far and question whats the reality. plus he starts throwin in some random lesbian love scenes, but ladies dont let that turn you away because they do tie into the plot. if you liked memento youd probably like this too.

i dont really know why im writing this, i guess im just bored. Anyways, if you like northstar or emo/indie/punk music i strooongly recommend checking out cassino. they only have 3 songs so far, but i think they are pretty damn good. www.purevolume.com/cassino

since phil brought this up a couple days ago i guess ill mention it. ever heard of the movie battle royale? no? well if you like violence, japanese movies, and a story that actually makes you think then its a must see. one of the few movies that has actually made me ponder what i would do if i was in the situation that happens in the movie.

XC: damn i got my ass handed to me at our last meet, i just plain sucked. hopefully i will do better next race, but of course its at IU and its gonna be when we get nailed with the rain from katrina. looks like thats gonna be fun... cant wait till its over, there will be a lot less pressure on me then, but ill miss it when its gone.

Good Movie Songs

Alright I can think of only two now even though I've been watching movies like crazy lately. Mad World from the ending of Donnie Darko is a damn good song, check it out its the music video i have on my profile. My new favorite song is Where Is My Mind by the Pixies. Its from the end of Fight Club, and it fits the movie perfectly. If you like that song, I recommend the Nada Surf cover of it, I actually like that version more than the original.
