The Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA, was created to help in the event of natural disasters. Their stated mission is "to reduce the loss of life and property and protect the Nation from all hazards, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, and other man-made disasters, by leading and supporting the Nation in a risk-based, comprehensive emergency management system of preparedness, protection, response, recovery, and mitigation".
FEMA was created on April 1, 1979 pursuant to President Jimmy Carter's Executive Order 12127. It amalgamated the Federal Insurance Administration, the National Fire Prevention and Control Administration, the National Weather Service Community Preparedness Program, the Federal Preparedness Agency and the Federal Disaster Assistance Administration activities formerly carried out by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. It also took over Civil Defense from the Department of Defense, which was in charge of preparing citizens for military attack.
Wow! That sounds great! All those words! However, if you look into the organization a little further, you'll see that it's not as innocent as it seems.
Here's some background information about FEMA. In April of 1984, President Ronald Reagan signed Presidential Director Number 54, which allowed FEMA to initiate a national "readiness exercise", called REX-84. REX-84 is a plan by the United States federal government to detain large numbers of American citizens in case of massive civil unrest or national emergency. In other words, Americans can be thrown into "internment camps" at any time, similar to what happened to the Jews in Nazi Germany.
The Miami Herald, in 1987, claimed that "The camps are to be operated by FEMA should martial law need to be implemented in the United States". Martial Law is a state of emergency when the Federal Government has control of everything and the Constitution can be suspended. It's scary that all that power belongs to one person, the President.
If REX-84 is initiated, Operation Cable Splicer and Operation Garden Plot will be implemented as well.
Operation Cable Splicer is a program for an orderly takeover of the state and local governments by the federal government. It was said to have been created in case of mass exodus of illegal aliens across the U.S./Mexican border. Mexicans would be detained in FEMA detention camps and held temporarily until they could be shipped back to Mexico. However, our country's border policy under George W. Bush has been, for the most part, nonexistent.
Below are some very important and downright scary Executive Orders to be used "in case of a national emergency". Executive Orders are defined as decrees that are issued by the President of the United States and which carry the force of law when activated by a president. What makes this so dangerous is that the decision to declare martial law and take full control of the United States can be made by one person, at any time, for any length of time. This is not a conspiracy theory; this is law.
10995 - Federal seizure of all communications media in the United States. 10997 - Federal seizure of all electric power, fuels, minerals, public and private. 10998 - Federal seizure of all food supplies and resources, public and private and all farms and equipment. 10999 - Federal seizure of all means of transportation, including cars, trucks, or vehicles of any kind and total control over all highways, seaports and water ways. 11000 - Federal seizure of American people for work forces under federal supervision, including the splitting up of families if the government so desires. 11001 - Federal seizure of all health, education and welfare facilities, both public and private. 11002 - Empowers the Postmaster General to register all men, women and children in the United States of America. 11003 - Federal seizure of all airports and aircraft. 11004 - Federal seizure of all housing and finances and authority to establish Forced Relocation. Authority to designate areas to be abandoned as "unsafe," establish new locations for the populations, relocate communities, build new housing with public funds. 11005 - Seizure of all railroads, inland waterways and storage facilities, both public and private. 11051 - Provides FEMA complete authorization to put above orders into effect in times of increased international tension of economic or financial crisis (FEMA will be in control in case of "National Emergency").
Operation Garden Plot is another part of REX-84 created to control the population. It is defined as "a general U.S. Army and National Guard plan to respond to major domestic civil disturbances within the United States". Remember that it is the exclusive right of the President of the United States to define what he considers "a major domestic civil disturbance".
In 2003, FEMA became part of the Department of Homeland Security's Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate. Halliburton was given the contract to build the "U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities". Once again, the petroleum and energy giant, Halliburton, the company from which Vice President Dick Cheney retired with a severance package worth $34 million, was given exclusive rights to build the FEMA camps.
Below is a very popular video showing what is believed to be a FEMA Camp in Indiana. I have been contacted by a myspace user on my friends list who has told me that it is a half-mile from his house, and that it is a railroad car refurbish factory. I cannot confirm or deny.

It may seem as if the situation could not get worse, but on May 9, 2007, President Bush created and signed the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive. This directive establishes "a comprehensive national policy on the continuity of Federal Government structures and operations and a single National Continuity Coordinator responsible for coordinating the development and implementation of Federal continuity policies".
Wow! Even more words. Simply, this policy gives him power to suspend elections and dismiss congress for any reason at any time. If there's a catastrophic event, he can declare a national emergency and implement martial law.
The following video takes a closer look at what is said to be Flight 11 as it crashes into the North Tower, and the plane believed by some to be Flight 175 hitting the South Tower. By utilizing slow motion, replays, and zoom features, obvious flashes and/or explosions can be seen in the buildings before the planes make impact. Special thanks to Dylan Avery and Loose Change.
What were those mysterious flashes? I wasn't there and didn't see it happen, so I cannot say whether or not a missile was fired from the plane that hit the South Tower, but something caused the flashes. The other/supplementary theory is that there were explosives in the building. That I do believe.
Expanding on the "explosion before impact" theory, the color of the flames in the massive fireball also raises questions. Below is a picture of a Boeing 767 crash, taken during tests run by NASA. Note the bright yellow flames.
When comparing the explosion of jet fuel from the NASA test with the fireball emitted from the South Tower, the fuel from Flight 175 is a much darker reddish-orange color.
The picture below shows a napalm explosion. (Before you freak out on me) I am in no way suggesting that the government planted napalm explosions in the Twin Towers! The reason for the pictures showing the different colors of flames is simply to show that different substances/fuels burn in different colors. When observing the flash that occurred before the South Tower was hit, then comparing the colors of flames from different fuels, it is obvious that there is more to the story than the United States government wants its citizens to know.
The fact that it was indeed Flight 175 that hit the Tower is also questioned. Still photos show extra equipment of some kind attached to the bottom of the plane. Many different angles of pictures from public newscasts show the same apparatus under the plane before impact. The plane that did hit the South Tower was not a typical Boeing 767.
When questioned about this abnormality, Boeing refused to comment. Mark Burnback, a Fox News reporter, says that "it definitely didn't look like a commercial plane". Watch and listen as he also states that there was a blue logo on the front and that there were no windows:
So what did hit the South Tower? What were the mysterious flashes before the impact of the planes? You tell Uncle Sam when you figure it out, because the more answers I seek, the more questions I have!
